各ゴム組成物を150℃×30分で加硫させて試験片を作製し、該試験片につき、未老化のものと、90℃のギヤーオーブン中で96時間老化させたものを用い、JIS K6251に準拠した引張試験を行って(3号形ダンベル使用)、抗張積(破断伸び×破断応力)を算出した。老化後の算出値を未老化の算出値に対する百分率で求め、抗張積保持率とした。比較例1の抗張率保持率の値を100として各例の抗張率保持率を指数で表示した。数値が大きいほど耐熱老化性に優れることを意味する。
各ゴム組成物を150℃×30分で加硫させて試験サンプルを作製し、90℃のギヤーオーブン中で24時間老化させたものを用い、JIS K6260に準拠し、屈曲き裂成長試験をおこなった。亀裂成長が2mmになるまでの回数を求め、比較例1の値を100とした指数で、各例の値を示した。指数が大きいほど、き裂成長速度が遅く、耐疲労性に優れる。

- ベルト端部とカーカスプライとの間に配されるベルトパッドを備える空気入りタイヤであって、
前記ベルトパッドは、ジエン系ゴム100質量部に対して、硫黄1〜10質量部と、N,N−ジベンジルベンゾチアゾール−2−スルフェンアミド0.1〜5質量部と、1,6−ビス(N,N−ジベンジルチオカルバモイルジチオ)ヘキサン及びヘキサメチレンビスチオサルフェート2ナトリウム塩2水和物のいずれか一方又は双方0.1〜5質量部とを含むゴム組成物を用いて作製された、空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記ゴム組成物は、有機酸コバルトを含まないか、又は有機酸コバルトの含有量がジエン系ゴム100質量部に対して3質量部以下である、請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
