Abstract
Description
のイオンの組み合わせによる塩に比べて負極活物質である金属材料を腐食させる作用が強いため、塩化鉄(III)以外の塩を用いることが好ましく、負極活物質である金属材料を腐食させる作用がより弱いことから、アンモニウム塩を用いることがより好ましい。
実験例1
ラミネートフィルムとして、PETフィルム(樹脂基材層、厚み:12μm)の片面に酸化ケイ素蒸着層(水蒸気バリア層、厚み:12nm)を有し、他面に、熱溶着樹脂層を有する積層フィルムを用い、これを25mm×30mmの大きさに切断したものを2枚用いてシート状外装体を形成した。なお、ラミネートフィルムの熱溶着樹脂層は、樹脂基材層側のLLDPE層からなる主層(厚み:100μm)と、ポリオレフィン重合体に不飽和カルボン酸無水物をグラフト共重合してなる酸コポリマーの層(厚み:25μm)とで構成した。
ラミネートフィルムにおける熱溶着性樹脂層の主層の厚みを30μmに変更した以外は、実験例1と同様にして封止性評価試験用のシート状外装体を作製した。
ラミネートフィルムにおける熱溶着性樹脂層の酸コポリマー層の厚みを10μmに変更した以外は、実験例1と同様にして封止性評価試験用のシート状外装体を作製した。
厚みが40μmの塩素化ポリエチレン(CPE)層のみで熱溶着性樹脂層を構成した以外は、実験例1で使用したものと同じ構成のラミネートフィルム2枚をシート状外装体として使用した。
実験例1で作製した負極を2枚用意し、互いの端子部が左右に分かれて配置されるようにして重ね、ラミネートフィルムの熱溶着部から2枚の負極の端子部を突出させた以外は、実験例3と同様にして封止性評価試験用のシート状外装体を作製した。
ラミネートフィルムにおける熱溶着性樹脂層の主層の厚みを60μmに変更した以外は、実験例5と同様にして封止性評価試験用のシート状外装体を作製した。
ラミネートフィルムにおける熱溶着性樹脂層の主層の厚みを30μmに変更した以外は、実験例5と同様にして封止性評価試験用のシート状外装体を作製した。
実験例1で作製した正極(正極集電体)を2枚用意し、互いの端子部が左右に分かれて配置されるようにして重ね、ラミネートフィルムの熱溶着部から2枚の正極の端子部を突出させた以外は、実験例3と同様にして封止性評価試験用のシート状外装体を作製した。
ラミネートフィルムにおける熱溶着性樹脂層の主層の厚みを60μmに変更した以外は、実験例8と同様にして封止性評価試験用のシート状外装体を作製した。
ラミネートフィルムにおける熱溶着性樹脂層の主層の厚みを30μmに変更した以外は、実験例8と同様にして封止性評価試験用のシート状外装体を作製した。
実施例1
<正極>
DBP吸油量495cm3/100g、比表面積1270m2/gのカーボン〔(ケッチェンブラックEC600JD(ライオン・スペシャリティ・ケミカルズ社製)〕:100質量部と、アクリル系分散剤:25質量部と、エタノール:5000質量部とを混合して触媒層形成用組成物を作製した。
添加元素としてBiを0.022質量%含有する電解亜鉛合金箔(厚み:0.05mm)を、15mm×15mmの大きさの本体部と、5mm×15mmの大きさの端子部とを有する形状に打ち抜いて、理論容量が約65mAhの負極を作製した。
電解液には、20質量%濃度の塩化アンモニウム水溶液(堀場製作所製の「LAQUAtwinコンパクトpHメータ」を用い、25℃環境下で測定したpHが4.3)を用いた。
セパレータには、ポリエチレン主鎖にアクリル酸をグラフト共重合させた構造を有するグラフト共重合体で構成された2枚のグラフトフィルム(1枚当たりの厚み:15μm)を、セロハンフィルム(厚み:20μm)の両側に配置したもの(全体の厚み:50μm)を用いた。
撥水膜には、厚みが75μmのポリエチレン製微多孔膜を用いた。
実験例3で用いたものと同じラミネートフィルムを2枚用いてシート状外装体を形成した。
正極側に配置されるラミネートフィルムを下にして、その上に、前記撥水膜、前記正極、前記セパレータおよび前記負極を順に積層し、更に、負極側に配置されるラミネートフィルムを、前記正極および前記負極の端子部の上に重ねた。次に、2枚の外装体の周囲3辺を互いに熱溶着して袋状にし、更にその開口部から前記電解液を注入した後、前記開口部を熱溶着して封止して、厚みが約1mmのシート状空気電池を作製した。
シート状外装体として実験例4で用いたものと同じラミネートフィルムを2枚用い、正極側に配置されるラミネートフィルムには、あらかじめ直径0.5mmの空気孔9個を形成した。

Claims (10)
- 正極、負極、およびそれらの間に介在するセパレータが積層された電極積層体と、前記電極積層体の両側に配置されたラミネートフィルムよりなる外装体とを有し、前記電極積層体および電解液を含む発電要素が、前記外装体内に収容されてなるシート状電池であって、
前記電解液が水溶液系電解液であり、
前記ラミネートフィルムは、少なくとも樹脂基材層と熱溶着性樹脂層とを有し、かつ、それぞれの熱溶着性樹脂層は内側に配置され、前記発電要素の周囲に前記熱溶着性樹脂層同士が熱溶着されてなる熱溶着部が形成されて前記外装体が封止されており、
前記熱溶着性樹脂層は、前記樹脂基材層側に設けられた、熱溶着性樹脂を含む主層と、不飽和カルボン酸またはその誘導体により酸変性されたオレフィン系共重合体を含む酸コポリマー層とを有し、
前記正極と電気的に接続された端子部および前記負極と電気的に接続された端子部が、前記熱溶着部を通じて前記シート状外装体の外部に突出していることを特徴とするシート状電池。 - 前記熱溶着性樹脂層の主層の厚みが、50μm以上である請求項1に記載のシート状電池。
- 前記正極の端子部および前記負極の端子部のうちの少なくとも一方が、カーボンシートで構成されている請求項2に記載のシート状電池。
- 前記熱溶着性樹脂層の主層は、前記熱溶着性樹脂として、直鎖状低密度ポリエチレンを含有している請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のシート状電池。
- 前記ラミネートフィルムは、前記樹脂基材層の前記熱溶着樹脂層形成面と反対側の面に水蒸気バリア層を有している請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のシート状電池。
- 前記水蒸気バリア層が、少なくとも無機酸化物により構成されている請求項5のいずれかに記載のシート状電池。
- 前記電解液のpHが3以上12未満である請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のシート状電池。
- 厚みが1mm以下である請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載のシート状電池。
- 空気電池である請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載のシート状電池。
- 身体に装着可能なパッチであって、電源として、請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載のシート状電池を備えたことを特徴とするパッチ。
