Abstract
Description
実施例1のフレア継手構造1は、例えば、内燃機関の高圧燃料供給経路やブレーキ液の圧送経路に用いられ、圧力がかかった液体が流通する経路におけるパイプの継手構造である。以下、図1に基づいて、実施例1のフレア継手構造1の全体構成を説明する。

なお、フレア傾斜面13の肉厚寸法tは、フレア傾斜面13の径方向中央部の肉厚寸法とする。しかしながら、これに限らず、例えば、フレア傾斜面13の複数個所の肉厚寸法の平均値等であってもよい。

Claims (5)
- フレア管の端末に形成されたフレア部を被結合部材に突き合わせると共に、前記フレア部をフレアナットで押圧し、前記フレア管を前記被結合部材に結合するフレア継手構造において、
前記フレア管は、素管と、前記素管の表面を覆うコーティング層と、からなる円筒管をフレア加工することで形成され、
前記フレア部は、前記被結合部材に向き合うフレア傾斜面を有し、
前記フレア傾斜面は、機械加工が施されて前記素管が露出した機械加工部によって形成されている
ことを特徴とするフレア継手構造。 - 請求項1に記載されたフレア継手構造において、
前記機械加工部は、前記円筒管の外周面のうち、端縁から軸方向の所定の範囲を前記機械加工によって削ることで前記円筒管の管端部に形成され、
前記フレア傾斜面は、前記機械加工部が形成された前記管端部に前記フレア加工を施すことで、前記機械加工部によって形成される
ことを特徴とするフレア継手構造。 - 請求項1又は請求項2に記載されたフレア継手構造において、
前記フレア傾斜面の径方向寸法Wは、前記素管の外径寸法Dに対して、下記式1が成立する大きさに設定されていることを特徴とするフレア継手構造。
0.27D ≦ W ≦ 0.34D …式1 - 請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載されたフレア継手構造において、
前記フレア傾斜面の肉厚寸法tは、前記素管の肉厚寸法Tに対して、下記式2が成立する大きさに設定されていることを特徴とするフレア継手構造。
0.85T ≦ t ≦ 0.95T …式2 - 素管及び前記素管の表面を覆うコーティング層からなる円筒管の外周面のうち、端縁から軸方向の所定の範囲を機械加工によって削り、前記素管よりも外径が小さい機械加工部を前記円筒管の管端部に形成する機械加工工程と、
前記機械加工部をプレスして前記管端部にフレア部を形成し、前記機械加工部で被結合部材に向き合う前記フレア部のフレア傾斜面を形成するフレア加工工程と、
を備えたことを特徴とするフレア管の製造方法。
