Abstract
Description
図1は、フッ素樹脂基板積層体の一実施形態を示す模式断面図である。本実施形態に係る高周波回路用のフッ素樹脂基板積層体は、フッ素樹脂基板1と、フッ素樹脂基板1上に設けられた接着層2とを備える。
本実施形態に係る接着層2は、(A)飽和又は不飽和の2価の炭化水素基を有するマレイミド化合物と(B)芳香族マレイミド化合物とを含有する樹脂組成物を含む。接着層2は、フッ素樹脂基板1に対する接着性に優れるだけでなく、後述する金属箔との接着性にも優れている。これにより、フッ素樹脂基板積層体の高周波領域における伝送損失を低減することができる。
本実施形態に係る飽和又は不飽和の2価の炭化水素基を有するマレイミド化合物を(A)成分ということがある。(A)成分は、(a)マレイミド基及び(c)飽和又は不飽和の2価の炭化水素基を有する化合物である。(a)マレイミド基を構造(a)といい、(c)飽和又は不飽和の2価の炭化水素基を構造(c)ということがある。(A)成分を用いることで、高周波特性及び接着性に優れる樹脂組成物を得ることができる。

カラムサイズ:6.0×40mm(ガードカラム)、7.8×300mm(カラム)
溶離液:テトラヒドロフラン
試料濃度:30mg/5mL
注入量:20μL
流量:1.00mL/分
測定温度:40℃
本実施形態に係る(B)芳香族マレイミド化合物を(B)成分ということがある。(B)成分は、(A)成分とは異なるマレイミド化合物である。なお、(A)成分及び(B)成分の双方に該当し得る化合物は、(A)成分に帰属するものとするが、(A)成分及び(B)成分の双方に該当し得る化合物を2種類以上含む場合、そのうち1つを(A)成分、その他の化合物を(B)成分と帰属するものとする。例えば、式(I)で表される基に含まれる芳香環を有する化合物を(A)成分とし、式(I)で表される基に含まれる芳香環以外の芳香環を有する化合物を(B)成分としてよい。(B)成分を用いることで、樹脂組成物の吸湿性を低減することができる。(A)成分と(B)成分とを含有する樹脂組成物の硬化物は、低誘電特性を備える(A)成分からなる構造単位と、低吸湿性である(B)成分からなる構造単位とを備えるポリマーを含有することで、良好な誘電特性を維持しつつ、低吸湿性を向上させることができる。
本実施形態に係る樹脂組成物は、(A)成分の硬化を促進するための触媒を更に含有してもよい。触媒の含有量は特に限定されないが、樹脂組成物の全質量に対して0.1〜5質量%であってもよい。触媒としては、例えば、過酸化物、アゾ化合物等を用いることができる。
本実施形態に係る樹脂組成物は、無機充填剤を更に含有してもよい。任意に適切な無機充填剤を含有させることで、接着層の低熱膨張特性、高弾性率性、耐熱性、難燃性等を向上させることができる。無機充填剤としては、例えば、シリカ、アルミナ、酸化チタン、マイカ、ベリリア、チタン酸バリウム、チタン酸カリウム、チタン酸ストロンチウム、チタン酸カルシウム、炭酸アルミニウム、水酸化マグネシウム、水酸化アルミニウム、ケイ酸アルミニウム、炭酸カルシウム、ケイ酸カルシウム、ケイ酸マグネシウム、窒化ケイ素、窒化ホウ素、焼成クレー、タルク、ホウ酸アルミニウム、及び炭化ケイ素が挙げられる。これらは1種類を単独で用いても、2種類以上を併用してもよい。
本実施形態の樹脂組成物は、(A)成分及び(B)成分とは異なる(C)熱硬化性樹脂(以下、「(C)成分」という場合がある。)を更に含有することができる。なお、(A)成分又は(B)成分に該当し得る化合物は、(C)成分に帰属しないものとする。(C)成分を含むことで、樹脂組成物の低熱膨張特性等を更に向上させることができる。(C)成分としては、例えば、エポキシ樹脂及びシアネートエステル樹脂が挙げられる。(C)成分は、1種類を単独で用いても、2種類以上を併用してもよい。
本実施形態に係る樹脂組成物は、(C)成分を含有する場合、(C)成分の硬化剤を更に含有してもよい。これにより、樹脂組成物の硬化物を得る際の反応を円滑に進めることができると共に、得られる樹脂組成物の硬化物の物性を適度に調節することが可能となる。硬化剤は1種類を単独で用いても、2種類以上を併用してもよい。
本実施形態に係る樹脂組成物には、(C)成分の種類に応じて硬化促進剤を更に配合してもよい。エポキシ樹脂の硬化促進剤としては、例えば、イミダゾール系硬化促進剤、BF3アミン錯体、及びリン系硬化促進剤が挙げられる。樹脂組成物の保存安定性、半硬化の樹脂組成物の取扱性及びはんだ耐熱性の観点から、イミダゾール系硬化促進剤及びリン系硬化促進剤が好ましい。
本実施形態に係る樹脂組成物は、樹脂フィルムの取扱い性を高める観点から、熱可塑性樹脂を更に含有してもよい。熱可塑性樹脂の種類は特に限定されず、分子量も限定されないが、(A)成分との相溶性をより高める点から、数平均分子量(Mn)が200〜60000であることが好ましい。
本実施形態に係る樹脂組成物には、難燃剤を更に配合してもよい。難燃剤としては特に限定されないが、臭素系難燃剤、リン系難燃剤、金属水酸化物等が好適に用いられる。難燃剤は1種類を単独で用いてもよく、2種類以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
フッ素樹脂基板1を構成するフッ素樹脂としては、例えば、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)、テトラフルオロエチレン−パ−フルオロアルキルビニルエーテル共重合体(PFA)、テトラフルオロエチレン−パーフルオロアルコキシエチレン重合体(PFE)、テトラフルオロエチレン−ヘキサフルオロプロピレン重合体(FEP)、及びテトラフルオロエチレン−エチレン共重合体(ETFE)が挙げられる。高周波特性により優れることから、フッ素樹脂基板は、ポリテトラフルオロエチレンを含む基板であることが好ましい。
フッ素樹脂基板と接着層とを備えるフッ素樹脂基板積層体には、更に金属箔を積層することできる。図2は、金属箔を備えるフッ素樹脂基板積層体の一実施形態を示す模式断面図である。該積層体は、フッ素樹脂基板1と、フッ素樹脂基板1上に設けられた接着層2と、接着層2上に積層された金属箔4とを備える。フッ素樹脂基板1と金属箔4とは、接着層2を介して接着されている。
本実施形態によれば、樹脂組成物の硬化物を含む樹脂層と、導体層とを有する積層板を提供することで金属張積層板を製造することができる。
(実施例1)
攪拌装置を備えた容器に、シリカスラリー(株式会社アドマテックス製、商品名「SC−2050KNK」)104.4g、トルエン9.1g、(A)成分21.3g、及び(B)成分5.1g、触媒(2,5’−ジメチル−2,5−ジ(t−ブチルパーオキシ)ヘキサン、日油株式会社製、商品名「パーヘキシン25B」)0.53gを投入し、25℃で1時間攪拌して混合した。混合物を#200ナイロンメッシュを用いてろ過し、樹脂組成物を得た。
(A)成分を用いなかった以外は、実施例1と同様にして樹脂組成物を得た。
(B)成分を用いなかった以外は、実施例1と同様にして樹脂組成物を得た。
樹脂組成物を、コンマコーターを用いて、PETフィルム(帝人株式会社製、商品名「G2−38」、厚さ:38μm)上に塗工した後、130℃で乾燥して、半硬化状態の樹脂層を備えるPETフィルム付き樹脂フィルムを作製した。樹脂フィルム(接着層)の厚さは65μmであった。
高周波用PTFE基板(Rogers、商品名「RO3003」、厚さ:127μm)の銅箔両面を全面エッチングしたPTFE基板の両面に、PETフィルムを剥離した樹脂フィルムを乗せ、銅箔(古河電気工業株式会社製、商品名「FZ−WS」、厚さ:18μm、表面粗さ:0.2μm以下)を積層した。次いで、積層体の上に鏡板を乗せ、200℃/3.0MPa/70分のプレス条件で加熱及び加圧成形して、両面金属張積層板を作製した。
両面金属張積層板及び高周波用PTFE基板について、以下の評価を行った。結果を表1に示す。
誘電特性である比誘電率(Dk)及び誘電正接(Df)は、両面金属張積層板の外層銅箔をエッチングしたものを試験片として、空洞共振器摂動法により測定した。測定条件は、周波数10GHz、測定温度25℃とした。
吸湿はんだ耐熱性は、両面金属張積層板の片側の銅箔をエッチングし、50mm角に切断したものを試験片として、プレッシャークッカーテスト(PCT)装置(条件:121℃、2.2気圧)において、1時間処理した後のものを288℃の溶融はんだ上に20秒間浮かべ、膨れの有無を目視で評価した。
実施例1で作製した両面金属張積層板の片側の銅箔をエッチングし、長さ10cm、幅65μmのマイクロストリップラインを作製し、インピーダンス50Ω、温度25℃、湿度60%の条件で伝送損失を測定した。比較例3として、高周波用PTFE基板(Rogers、商品名「RO3003」、厚さ:127μm)を用いて、同様に伝送損失を測定した。
Claims (10)
- フッ素樹脂基板と、該フッ素樹脂基板上に設けられた接着層と、を備え、
前記接着層が、(A)飽和又は不飽和の2価の炭化水素基を有するマレイミド化合物と、(B)芳香族マレイミド化合物と、を含有する樹脂組成物を含む、高周波回路用のフッ素樹脂基板積層体。 - 前記フッ素樹脂基板が、ポリテトラフルオロエチレンを含む基板である、請求項1に記載のフッ素樹脂基板積層体。
- 前記(B)芳香族マレイミド化合物が、マレイミド基が芳香環に結合した構造を有する、請求項1又は2に記載のフッ素樹脂基板積層体。
- 前記飽和又は不飽和の2価の炭化水素基の炭素数が8〜100である、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のフッ素樹脂基板積層体。
- 前記(A)飽和又は不飽和の2価の炭化水素基を有するマレイミド化合物が、少なくとも2つのイミド結合を有する2価の基を更に有する、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のフッ素樹脂基板積層体。
- 前記(A)飽和又は不飽和の2価の炭化水素基を有するマレイミド化合物の重量平均分子量が、500〜10000である、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のフッ素樹脂基板積層体。
- 前記接着層上に、金属箔を更に備える、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のフッ素樹脂基板積層体。
- 前記金属箔の表面粗さが、0.05〜2μmである、請求項9に記載のフッ素樹脂基板積層体。
