Abstract
Description
<システムの全体構成>
図1は、本開示の実施の形態に係る車両を含むシステムの全体構成を概略的に示す図である。図1を参照して、車両1は、たとえばプラグインハイブリッド車両であり、充電ケーブル2により充電器3に電気的に接続することが可能に構成されている。車両1は、駆動源としての二次電池を搭載した車両であればよく、プラグイン充電を行えない通常のハイブリッド車両であってもよい。また、車両1は、電気自動車または燃料電池自動車であってもよい。
バッテリ表示処理においてバッテリ50のSOCおよび満充電容量(後述の例では容量維持率Q)の両方をインパネ70に表示する場合、ユーザが両者を混同するなど、ユーザが表示内容を直感的に把握できない可能性がある。したがって、バッテリ50のSOCおよび満充電容量を分かり易く表示することが望ましい。
図2は、本実施の形態におけるバッテリ表示処理を示すフローチャートである。このフローチャートは、たとえば所定の制御周期毎にECU100により実行される。このフローチャートに含まれる各ステップは、基本的にはECU100によるソフトウェア処理によって実現されるが、ECU100内に作製された専用のハードウェア(電気回路)によって実現されてもよい。なお、以下ではステップを「S」と略す。
S2において、ECU100は、バッテリ50の容量維持率Qを算出する。バッテリ50の容量維持率Qとは、バッテリ50の初期状態における満充電容量FCC0に対するバッテリ50の現時点での満充電容量FCCの比率[単位:%]であり、下記式(2)により算出される。なお、満充電容量の初期値FCC0としては、バッテリ50(または車両1)の製造時に測定された満充電容量を用いてもよいし、バッテリ50の満充電容量の仕様値(カタログ値)を用いてもよい。
ただし、満充電容量FCCを容量維持率Qに換算することなく、以下の処理を満充電容量FCCを用いて実行することも可能である。また、バッテリ50の満充電容量FCCまたは容量維持率Qに代えて、車両1のEV距離維持率を用いてもよい。EV距離維持率とは、初期状態における車両1のEV距離に対する現時点での車両1のEV距離の比率[単位:%]である。EV距離は、バッテリ50の満充電容量に車両1の電費(単位走行距離当たりの消費電力量)を乗算した値として算出される。EV距離は満充電容量に比例するため、EV距離維持率は容量維持率Qと同じ値を示す。なお、満充電容量FCC、容量維持率QおよびEV距離維持率の各々は、本開示に係る「第2の指標」に相当する。
実施の形態では、バッテリのケース形状を抽象化したアイコンを用いる例について説明した。しかし、アイコンの種類は、これに限定されるものではない。
本実施の形態および変形例1では、バッテリ50のSOCおよび満充電容量を表示する構成について説明した。変形例2では、バッテリ50のSOCおよび満充電容量に加えて、バッテリ50の劣化状態(SOH:State Of Health)を表示する構成について説明する。一般に、バッテリの劣化が進むに従ってバッテリの内部抵抗が増加する。以下に説明する変形例2におけるバッテリ50のSOHとは、具体的にはバッテリ50の内部抵抗である。

二次電池の状態を表すアイコンを表示するように前記表示装置を制御する制御装置とを備え、
前記アイコンは、前記二次電池の電池残量を表す第1の指標と、前記二次電池の満充電容量を表す第2の指標とのうちの一方を前記アイコンの表示領域における目盛りの増減により表し、前記第1および第2の指標のうちの他方を前記アイコンの表示面積の大小によって示される量により表す、表示システム。 - 前記アイコンは、前記第1の指標を前記目盛りの増減により表し、前記第2の指標を前記表示面積の大小によって示される量により表し、
前記第1の指標が低下するに従って前記目盛りが減少し、
前記第2の指標が減少するに従って前記表示面積が小さくなる、請求項1に記載の表示システム。 - 前記目盛りは、所定方向に増減し、
