Abstract
Description
前記EGR通路は、これと前記吸気通路との合流部よりも前記吸気通路の内部において延長されており、その延長されたEGR通路である延長通路部の終端の空気流れ方向の位置が前記吸気通路の終端に合致されていることを特徴とする。
過給機(ターボチャージャー)19は、排気タービン(図示省略)を収容するタービンハウジング19Aと吸気コンプレッサ(図示省略)を収容するコンプレッサハウジング19Bとを備えて排気マニホルド18の上方に配置されている。
図示は省略するが、アルミ鋳物(アルミ合金鋳物)により接合パイプ7を作製する場合は、EGRガス(排気ガス)による腐食を避けるために、延長通路部5Aにステンレスチューブを内装又は圧入するか、或いは、ステンレスチューブをパイプ本体7Aに直接挿し込む構造としても良い。

Claims (7)
- 過給機のコンプレッサハウジングに連通される吸気通路にEGR通路が合流されているEGR装置であって、
前記EGR通路は、これと前記吸気通路との合流部よりも前記吸気通路の内部において延長されており、その延長されたEGR通路である延長通路部の終端の空気流れ方向の位置が前記吸気通路の終端に合致されているEGR装置。 - 前記延長通路部は、前記吸気通路の内壁を共用する構成とされている請求項1に記載のEGR装置。
- 前記延長通路部における内壁の共用部分は、前記延長通路部の周方向で1箇所に設定されている請求項2に記載のEGR装置。
- 吸気通路にEGR通路が合流されている合流通路部は、吸気管と前記コンプレッサハウジングとを接続する接合パイプに構成されている請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載のEGR装置。
- 前記接合パイプは、前記吸気通路と前記延長通路部とが一体となった1つの部品に形成されている請求項4に記載のEGR装置。
- 前記コンプレッサハウジングの吸気入口筒部と前記接合パイプとの双方に外装されてこれら吸気入口筒部と接合パイプとを接続する接続ホースが設けられている請求項4又は5に記載のEGR装置。
- 前記接合パイプは金属材製である請求項4〜6の何れか一項に記載のEGR装置。
