Abstract
Description
図1は、実施の形態1に係るディスク型ガス発生器の概略図であり、図2は、図1中に示すII−II線に沿った模式断面図である。また、図3は、図1に示す燃焼制御部材の斜視図であり、図4は、図1に示す仕切り部の組付構造を示す分解斜視図である。まず、これら図1ないし図4を参照して、本実施の形態に係るディスク型ガス発生器1Aの構成について説明する。なお、本実施の形態に係るディスク型ガス発生器1Aは、いわゆるデュアル構造を有するものである。
図10は、実施の形態2に係るディスク型ガス発生器の概略図であり、図11は、図10に示す燃焼制御部材の斜視図である。以下、これら図10および図11を参照して、本実施の形態に係るディスク型ガス発生器1Bについて説明する。なお、本実施の形態に係るディスク型ガス発生器1Bも、上述した実施の形態1に係るディスク型ガス発生器1Aと同様に、いわゆるデュアル構造を有するものである。
図12は、実施の形態3に係るディスク型ガス発生器の概略図である。以下、この図12を参照して、本実施の形態に係るディスク型ガス発生器1Cについて説明する。なお、本実施の形態に係るディスク型ガス発生器1Cは、上述した実施の形態1に係るディスク型ガス発生器1Aとは異なり、いわゆるシングル構造を有するものである。
上述した本発明の実施の形態1および2ならびにその変形例においては、第1点火器および第2点火器が異なるタイミングで通電されることにより、第2点火器が第1点火器の作動のタイミングから遅れたタイミングで作動するように構成された場合を例示して説明を行なったが、これらが同時のタイミングで通電されることにより、同時のタイミングで作動するように構成されていてもよい。また、第1点火器と第2点火器とを同時のタイミングで通電する場合であっても、第2点火器の点火部に点火薬の着火を遅らせる延時薬を設けることにより、第2点火器の通電から点火薬の着火までに要する時間を延長し、これによって第1点火器と第2点火器とを同時のタイミングで通電しつつも、第2ガス発生剤の燃焼開始のタイミングを第1ガス発生剤の燃焼開始のタイミングよりも遅らせるように構成することとしてもよい。

- 複数のガス噴出口が設けられた略円筒状の周壁部、前記周壁部の軸方向の一端を閉塞する天板部、および、前記周壁部の軸方向の他端を閉塞する底板部を含み、ガス発生剤が収容された燃焼室を内部に有するハウジングと、
前記燃焼室を取り囲むように前記ハウジングの内部に収容された略円筒状のフィルタと、
前記底板部に組付けられ、作動時において着火する点火薬が収容された点火部を含む点火器と、
伝火薬が収容された伝火室を規定する頂壁部および側壁部を有するとともに、前記伝火室が前記点火部に面するように前記燃焼室側に向けて突出して配置され、前記点火器の作動に伴う前記伝火薬の燃焼によって破裂または溶融する脆弱な部材からなるカップ体と、
前記伝火薬の燃焼によっても破裂または溶融しない非脆弱な部材からなり、前記燃焼室に配置されることにより、前記伝火薬の燃焼によって着火される前記ガス発生剤の燃え広がりを制御する燃焼制御部材とを備え、
