Abstract
Description
1.臭化チオトロピウムの量を乳糖一水和物と共に秤量し、60番SSふるいにかける。
2.ステップ1のブレンド(混合物)を高せん断力ブレンダー(Pharmaconnect TRV)に投入し、3分間混合する。
3.ステップ2のブレンド(混合物)を、適切なカプセル充填機を使用して空のHPMCカプセルに充填する。
空気動力学的粒子サイズ分布(APSD)プロファイルは、Next Generation Impactor (NGI)を使用して、臭化チオトロピウムを含む5つのカプセルのそれぞれから、それぞれ39L/分で6.2秒間(4Lの空気量に相当)で2回吸入した後に生成された。
NGIの個々のステージに沈着した臭化チオトロピウムを、適切な希釈液で別々に抽出して測定し、HPLC法を用いて定量した。CITDASソフトウェアを使用して、インパクターサイズ質量(Impactor Sized Mass: ISM)、微粒子含有量(Fine Particle Dose)、および微粒子画分(Fine Particle Fraction)を計算した。所定の条件下での分析結果は次のとおりである。
Claims (6)
- マウスピース(4)につながる投与流路(10)と、
薬剤ホルダー(5)と、
前記薬剤ホルダー(5)と前記マウスピース(4)との間で、投与流路(10)に配置されたメッシュ部分(7)とを含み、
前記メッシュ部分(7)は、ポリオキシメチレンから形成されている、薬剤を投与するための吸入デバイス。 - 前記薬剤は、1つ以上の活性医薬成分を、単独で、または1つ以上の賦形剤または医薬的に許容される担体と共に含む、請求項1に記載の吸入デバイス。
- 前記活性医薬成分は、抗コリン作用薬、抗炎症薬、鎮痛薬、抗狭心症薬、抗アレルギー薬、抗ヒスタミン薬、鎮咳薬、気管支拡張薬、抗感染症薬、ロイコトリエン阻害剤、PDE IV阻害剤、鎮咳薬、利尿薬、ホルモン、クロモリン、治療用タンパク質とペプチド、ワクチン、診断薬、遺伝子治療薬、またはそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項2に記載の吸入デバイス。
- 前記抗コリン作用薬は臭化チオトロピウムである、請求項3に記載の吸入デバイス。
- 前記薬剤ホルダー(5)が、ドライパウダー薬剤を含むカプセルを保持するように設計されている、請求項1に記載の吸入デバイス。
- ドライパウダー薬剤は、喘息、慢性閉塞性肺疾患(COPD)、気管支炎または胸部感染症の治療に使用される、請求項4に記載の吸入デバイス。
