Abstract
Description
ポリエーテルイミド(PEI)をベースとするポリマー発泡体は、航空機内装向けに航空機産業が要求する法的仕様を満たす。特に、火災性状、耐媒体性および機械的特性に対する要求は、ここでの大きな課題である。先行技術によれば、適切なポリマー発泡体は半製品として製造される。成形部材を得るための後処理は、たとえば大量の切断屑のせいで、時間と材料利用の点で不経済である。本発明は、原則的に適切な材料を処理して粒子発泡成形部材を得ることができるという点でこの課題を解決する。これらの成形部材は、後処理なしで、短いサイクル時間で、ひいては経済的に製造できる。さらに、このことから、たとえば発泡体にインサートなどを直接組み込むことにより、設計の自由度に関して、機能的統合の新しい手段が生まれる。
航空機産業での設置に適した発泡材料は、一般的に知られている。しかしながら、この目的のために記載されている発泡体の大部分は、純粋なPMI(ポリメタクリルイミド)、PPSU(ポリフェニレンスルホン)またはPES(ポリエーテルスルホン)のみで構成されている。毒物学的な観点からは不適切であるが、文献にはPI(ポリアリールイミド)も見つけられる。これらの材料はすべて、これまでもっぱらブロック材料またはスラブ材料として使用されてきた。
本発明の課題は、先行技術に鑑みて、たとえば、熱可塑性または架橋されたカバー層を有する発泡体コアであり得る新規の発泡体または複合材料を製造するための組成物を、航空機建造における使用に提供することであった。得られた発泡体は、高温での可用性、特に十分な破断点伸びに関する良好な機械的特性と、車両および航空機の建造分野での多くの用途にとって少なくとも十分な難燃効果との優れた組合せを有している。
これらの課題は、航空機産業、特に航空機建造における使用のための、耐熱性、難燃性の発泡材料を製造するための新規組成物の提供によって解決される。この本発明による発泡体の製造のための組成物は、ポリエーテルイミド(PEI)をベースとする粒子発泡体であることを特徴とする。本発明による粒子発泡体は、発泡された材料として180〜215℃のガラス転移温度を有し、粒子発泡体の平均気泡直径は2mm未満、好ましくは1mm未満、特に好ましくは500μm未満、最も好ましくは250μm未満である。
Claims (13)
- 航空機建造におけるPEI粒子発泡体の使用において、前記発泡PEIのガラス転移温度が180〜215℃であり、前記粒子発泡体の平均気泡直径が2mm未満であることを特徴とする、粒子発泡体の使用。
- 80〜99.5重量%のPEI、0.5〜10重量%の発泡剤および0〜10重量%の添加剤から成る組成物から得られたことを特徴とする、請求項1記載の粒子発泡体の使用。
- 前記添加剤が、難燃剤、可塑剤、顔料、UV安定剤、成核剤、耐衝撃性改良剤、接着促進剤、レオロジー改質剤、鎖延長剤、繊維および/またはナノ粒子であることを特徴とする、請求項1または2記載の粒子発泡体の使用。
- 前記発泡剤が、アルコール、ケトン、アルカン、アルケン、CO2、N2、水、エーテル、アルデヒド、化学発泡剤またはこれらの物質の2つ以上の混合物であることを特徴とする、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の粒子発泡体の使用。
- 前記粒子発泡体が、ISO1926に準拠した0.5MPaを超える引張強度、ISO1926に準拠した8%〜12%の破断点伸び、ASTM C273に準拠した8MPaを超える室温での剪断弾性率、ASTM C273に準拠した0.45MPaを超える室温での剪断強度、ISO 844に準拠した13MPaを超える室温での圧縮弾性率およびISO 844に準拠した0.4MPaを超える室温での圧縮強度を満たすことを特徴とする、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の粒子発泡体の使用。
- 前記粒子発泡体が航空機の内部領域に設置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載の粒子発泡体の使用。
- 前記粒子発泡体の平均気泡直径が500μm未満であることを特徴とする、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項記載の粒子発泡体の使用。
- 80〜99.5重量%のPEI、0.5〜10重量%の発泡剤、および0〜10重量%の添加剤から成る組成物を、多孔板を備えた押出機により処理して発泡ペレットを得て、引き続き、前記発泡ペレットをさらに発泡させて粒子発泡体を得ることを特徴とし、ここで、フィードゾーンとスクリューチップとの間の温度は180〜380℃の範囲内にあり、前記多孔板の温度は250〜350℃であり、前記多孔板を通過する際の溶融温度は230〜360℃であることを特徴とする、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項記載の使用のためのPEI粒子発泡体の製造方法。
- 90〜100重量%のPEIおよび0〜10重量%の添加剤から成る組成物を、多孔板を備えた押出機によって処理してペレットを得て、引き続き、前記ペレットに、発泡剤を0.5〜10重量%で含むように、オートクレーブ内で発泡剤を添加し、引き続き、前記発泡剤が添加されたペレットを、放圧によりおよび/または200℃を超える温度に加熱することにより発泡させて粒子発泡体を得ることを特徴とし、ここで、フィードゾーンとスクリューチップとの間の温度は180〜380℃の範囲内にあり、前記多孔板の温度は300〜350℃であり、前記多孔板を通過する際の溶融温度は250〜360℃であることを特徴とする、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項記載の使用のためのPEI粒子発泡体の製造方法。
- 請求項8または9記載の方法により製造された前記粒子発泡体を、カバー材料に接着、縫い付けまたは溶着することを特徴とする、複合部材の製造方法。
- 請求項8または9記載の方法により製造された前記粒子発泡体を、カバー材料の存在下で、接着または溶着によって前記カバー材料が前記発泡体に結合するように発泡させることを特徴とする、複合部材の製造方法。
- 前記押出機を通過する前記PEIを、任意にカバー材料を含む、任意に加熱された型に導入し、成形しながら発泡させて粒子発泡体または複合材料を得ることを特徴とする、請求項8記載の方法。
- 前記発泡中にインサートおよび/またはチャネルを前記粒子発泡体に組み込むことを特徴とする、請求項8から12までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
