Abstract
Description
(A)ハウジングであって、ハウジングが、
(1)(a)ハウジングの長さ、および(b)ハウジングの長手方向中心軸線に沿って延びるハウジングワイヤー管状通路と、
(2)ワイヤー管状通路を取り囲む流体環状通路と、
(3)流体環状通路と流体連通する流体リングであって、流体リングがハウジングの一方の端部に位置決めされる、流体リングと、を備える、ハウジングと、
(B)幅広端部および幅狭端部を有する錐体形の先端部であって、先端部の幅広端部が、流体リングが位置決めされるハウジングの端部に取り付けられ、先端部が、
(1)(a)先端部の長さ、および(b)先端部の長手方向中心軸線に沿って延びる先端ワイヤー管状通路と、
(2)流体リングと流体連通する先端流体通路と、
(3)先端流体通路と流体連通する1つ以上のノズルであって、ノズルが、端部に位置して、先端部の幅狭端部を超えて延びている、1つ以上のノズルと、を備える、先端部と、を備え、
ハウジングワイヤー管状通路および先端ワイヤー管状通路は、互いに連通開放されて、ワイヤーが、一方から他方に向かって真っ直ぐに邪魔されることなく通過することができる。
Claims (4)
- マンドレルアセンブリであって:
(A)ハウジングであって、前記ハウジングが、
(1)(a)前記ハウジングの長さ、および(b)前記ハウジングの長手方向中心軸線に沿って延びるハウジングワイヤー管状通路と、
(2)前記ワイヤー管状通路を取り囲む流体環状通路と、
(3)前記流体環状通路と流体連通する流体リングであって、前記流体リングが前記ハウジングの一方の端部に位置決めされる、流体リングと、を備える、ハウジングと、
(B)幅広端部および幅狭端部を有する錐体形の先端部であって、前記先端部の前記幅広端部が、前記流体リングが位置決めされる前記ハウジングの前記端部に取り付けられ、前記先端部が、
(1)(a)前記先端部の長さ、および(b)前記先端部の長手方向中心軸線に沿って延びる先端ワイヤー管状通路と、
(2)前記流体リングと流体連通する先端流体通路と、
(3)前記先端流体通路と流体連通する1つ以上のノズルであって、前記ノズルが、前記端部に位置して、前記先端部の前記幅狭端部を超えて延びている、前記1つ以上のノズルと、を備える、先端部と、を備え、
前記ハウジングワイヤー管状通路および前記先端ワイヤー管状通路は、互いに連通開放されて、ワイヤー、ハイブリッドケーブル、または光ファイバが、一方から他方に向かって真っ直ぐに、邪魔されることなく通過することができる、マンドレルアセンブリ。 - マイクロキャピラリー構造を備えるポリマー製品を押出成形するダイアセンブリであって、前記アセンブリが、請求項1に記載のマンドレルアセンブリを備える、ダイアセンブリ。
- マイクロキャピラリー構造を備えるポリマーコーティングをワイヤー、ハイブリッドケーブル、または光ファイバに塗布するワイヤーコーティング装置であって、前記装置が請求項2に記載のダイアセンブリを備える、ワイヤーコーティング装置。
- マイクロキャピラリー構造を備えるポリマーコーティングを含むワイヤー、ハイブリッドケーブル、または光ファイバであって、前記ポリマーコーティングが前記ワイヤーまたは光ファイバに請求項3に記載の装置を使用して塗布される、ワイヤー、ハイブリッドケーブル、または光ファイバ。
