Abstract
Description
(a)ファウリングリリースコーティングを含む感圧接着性ホイル、および
(b)感圧接着性ホイルの縁部に塗布されるように操作可能な縁部シーラントファウリングリリースコーティング組成物
を含むコーティング系が提供される。
(i)接着層、
(ii)接着層(i)に対しておよびそれを覆うように塗布された構造用層、
(iii)必要に応じて、構造用層(ii)に対しておよびそれを覆うように塗布された中間シリコーンタイコート、および
(iv)構造用層(ii)に対しておよびそれを覆うように塗布された、または存在する場合には中間シリコーンタイコート(iii)に対しておよびそれを覆うように塗布された、シリコーンファウリングリリーストップコート
を含む。
X−CH2CH2CH2Si(OR)3−nR’n
(式中、n=0、1または2である)
を有するオルガノ官能性シランを含む。
反応性シリコーンポリマー、
非反応性シリコーンポリマーおよび
架橋剤
を含んでもよい。
(a)水中構造体に接着されている感圧接着性ホイルであって、該感圧接着性ホイルが、ファウリングリリースコーティングを有する外面を含む、感圧接着性ホイル、および
(b)感圧接着性ホイルの縁部を覆うように塗布されて硬化させた、縁部シーラントファウリングリリースコーティング組成物
を含む、水中構造体が提供される。
(a)ファウリングリリースコーティングを有する外面を含む感圧接着性ホイルを、水中構造体に接着すること、および
(b)感圧接着性ホイルの縁部を覆うように縁部シーラントファウリングリリースコーティング組成物を塗布し、該縁部シーラントファウリングリリースコーティング組成物を硬化させること
を含む、方法が提供される。
0:ソフト汚損生物が、試験パネルの表面上に残留していない。
1:試験パネルの表面の10%未満に、ソフト汚損生物が付着している。
2:試験パネルの表面の10〜20%に、ソフト汚損生物が付着している。
3:試験パネルの表面の20〜50%に、ソフト汚損生物が付着している。
4:試験パネルの表面の50%超に、ソフト汚損生物が付着している。
0:ハード汚損生物が、試験パネルの表面上に残留していない。
1:試験パネルの表面の3%未満に、ハード汚損生物が付着している。
2:試験パネルの表面の3〜10%に、ハード汚損生物が付着している。
3:試験パネルの表面の10〜20%に、ハード汚損生物が付着している。
4:試験パネルの表面の20%超に、ハード汚損生物が付着している。
Claims (17)
- (a)ファウリングリリースコーティングを含む感圧接着性ホイル、および
(b)前記感圧接着性ホイルの縁部に塗布されるように操作可能な縁部シーラントファウリングリリースコーティング組成物
を含む、ファウリングリリースコーティング系。 - 前記感圧接着性ホイルが、
(i)接着層、
(ii)前記接着層(i)に対しておよびそれを覆うように塗布された構造用層、
(iii)必要に応じて、前記構造用層(ii)に対しておよびそれを覆うように塗布された中間シリコーンタイコート、および
(iv)前記構造用層(ii)に対しておよびそれを覆うように塗布された、または存在する場合には前記中間シリコーンタイコート(iii)に対しておよびそれを覆うように塗布された、シリコーンファウリングリリーストップコート
を含む、請求項1に記載のファウリングリリースコーティング系。 - 前記構造用層(ii)が、合成材料層(iia)または熱可塑性層(iib)のいずれかを含む、請求項2に記載のファウリングリリースコーティング系。
- 前記縁部シーラントファウリングリリースコーティング組成物が、反応性シリコーンポリマー、非反応性シリコーンポリマーおよび架橋剤を含む、先行する請求項のいずれかに記載のファウリングリリースコーティング系。
- 前記反応性シリコーンポリマーが、ヒドロキシル官能性ポリオルガノシロキサンを含む、請求項4に記載のファウリングリリースコーティング系。
- その少なくとも一部の上にファウリングリリースコーティング系を有する水中構造体であって、前記ファウリングリリースコーティング系が、
(a)前記水中構造体に接着された感圧接着性ホイルであって、前記感圧接着性ホイルがファウリングリリースコーティングを有する外面を含む、感圧接着性ホイル、および
(b)前記感圧接着性ホイルの縁部を覆うように塗布されて硬化した、縁部シーラントファウリングリリースコーティング組成物
を含む、水中構造体。 - 前記感圧接着性ホイルが、
(i)接着層、
(ii)前記接着層(i)に対しておよびそれを覆うように塗布された構造用層、
(iii)必要に応じて、前記構造用層(ii)に対しておよびそれを覆うように塗布された中間シリコーンタイコート、および
(iv)前記構造用層(ii)に対しておよびそれを覆うように塗布された、または存在する場合には前記中間シリコーンタイコート(iii)に対しておよびそれを覆うように塗布された、シリコーンファウリングリリーストップコート
を含む、請求項6に記載の水中構造体。 - 前記構造用層(ii)が、合成材料層(iia)または熱可塑性層(iib)のいずれかを含む、請求項7に記載の水中構造体。
- 前記縁部シーラントファウリングリリースコーティング組成物が、反応性シリコーンポリマー、非反応性シリコーンポリマー、および架橋剤を含む、請求項6から8のいずれか一項に記載の水中構造体。
- 前記反応性シリコーンポリマーが、ヒドロキシル官能性ポリオルガノシロキサンを含む、請求項9に記載の水中構造体。
- 水中構造体をコーティングする方法であって、前記方法が、
(a)感圧接着性ホイルを前記水中構造体に接着する工程であって、前記感圧接着性ホイルがファウリングリリースコーティングを有する外面を含む、工程、および
(b)前記感圧接着性ホイルの縁部を覆うように縁部シーラントファウリングリリースコーティング組成物を塗布し、それを硬化させる工程
を含む、方法。 - 前記感圧接着性ホイルが、
(i)接着層、
(ii)前記接着層(i)に対しておよびそれを覆うように塗布された構造用層、
(iii)必要に応じて、前記構造用層(ii)に対しておよびそれを覆うように塗布された中間シリコーンタイコート、および

- 前記縁部シーラントファウリングリリースコーティング組成物が、反応性シリコーンポリマー、非反応性シリコーンポリマー、および架橋剤を含む、請求項11から13のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記反応性シリコーンポリマーが、ヒドロキシル官能性ポリオルガノシロキサンを含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- ファウリングリリースコーティング系における縁部シーラントファウリングリリースコーティング組成物の使用であって、前記コーティング系が、ファウリングリリースコーティングを含む感圧接着性ホイルを含み、前記縁部シーラントファウリングリリースコーティング組成物が、前記感圧接着性ホイルの縁部を覆うように塗布され、硬化される、使用。
- 前記感圧接着性ホイルが、水中構造体に接着される、請求項16に記載の縁部シーラントファウリングリリースコーティング組成物の使用。
