Abstract
PURPOSE:To assure the reactivity of short term insertion by freely communicatably connecting pipes which are lower in fluid resistance than the fluid resistance to be received by a poison and a poison tank to the inside of a core tank. CONSTITUTION:This poison injection equipment consists of the poison tank 1, an injection valve 2, injection pipes 3 which are small in the number of pipes but has the lower fluid resistance as the poison injection pipes to the core tank 6 and the injection pipes 4 which have the high fluid resistance but are large in the number of pipes. The poison liquid in the tank 1 is injected through the injection pipes 3 and 4 into the tank 6 when the injection valve 2 is opened by a system operation signal. The injection of the poison liquid is executed in such a manner that the liquid is first locally injected into the tank 6 through the injection pipes 3 of the lower fluid resistance and is then injected over a wide range through the injection pipes 4 of the higher fluid resistance. The injection time of the poison is, therefore, shortened by the injection pipes 3 and the reactivity of the short-term charge is increased to the wider range of the poison injection by the injection pipes 4 and, therefore, the relatively large value is assured.
