Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the area and a location of the generation of breaking easily when there happens an accident of the loosing of a coolant on the basis of a coefficient of variation of pressure, a coefficient of variation of a water level and the second-order differential value of pressure, which are computed previously, and the relationship of the location and area of breaking in a vessel for a nuclear reactor, etc.
CONSTITUTION: When there happens an accident of the lost of a coolant, the relationship of the change of pressure and the change of a water level between scram time ts and a point of time tc when a main steam isolating valve is closed differs according to the case of the breaking of a liquid phase and the case of the breaking of the gaseous phase, and the lowering speed of a water level of the liquid phase obtained from the water level l is large and decompresssing speed acquired from pressure P is small in the breaking of the liquid phase. In the breaking of the gaseous phase, on the other hand, decompressing speed is large, and the lowering speed of the water level is small. When observing the time change of the water level after scram about the breaking of the liquid phase, a curve A is formed when the area of breaking is large and a curve B when the area of breaking is small, a line D shows a water level in case of closing of the main steam isolating valve, and the closing time of the isolating valve differs according to the area of breaking because the valve is closed by water-level signals.
