Claims (20)

対応する画像データに基づいて前記表示画素行をプログラムするように、前記走査ドライバ及び前記データドライバに命令し、
前記表示画素行をプログラムした後、定められた時刻に前記表示画素行をオンにするように、前記走査ドライバに命令し、
前記表示画素行の第1のルミナンスに少なくとも部分的に基づいて前記表示画素行をオフにするように、前記走査ドライバに命令し、
前記表示画素行をオフにすることに応じて前記表示画素行内のそれぞれの表示画素をリセット電圧でプログラムすることによって、前記表示画素行をリセットするように、前記走査ドライバ及び前記データドライバに命令する、ように構成されている、電子ディスプレイ。 - 前記表示画素行をプログラムするために、前記コントローラが、
前記対応する画像データによって示される前記第1のルミナンスに少なくとも部分的に基づいて、第1のデータ信号を提供するように前記データドライバに命令し、
第1の走査制御信号を生成するように前記走査ドライバに命令するように構成されており、前記第1の走査制御信号が、前記表示画素行内のそれぞれの表示画素に、前記表示画素の記憶構成要素に前記第1のデータ信号のうちの1つを供給するように命令する、
請求項1に記載の電子ディスプレイ。 - 前記記憶構成要素が、トランジスタ、コンデンサ、又はその両方を含む、請求項2に記載の電子ディスプレイ。
- 前記表示画素行をオンにするために、前記コントローラが前記走査ドライバに発光オン制御信号を出力するように命令するように構成されており、前記発光オン制御信号が、前記表示画素行内のそれぞれの表示画素に、前記画像データに基づいてプログラムされた電流源を前記表示画素の発光デバイスに接続するように命令する、請求項2に記載の電子ディスプレイ。
- 前記発光デバイスが有機発光ダイオードを含む、請求項4に記載の電子ディスプレイ。
- 前記表示画素行をオフにするために、前記コントローラが前記走査ドライバに発光オフ制御信号を出力するように命令するように構成されており、前記発光オフ制御信号が、前記第1の表示行のそれぞれの表示画素に、画像に基づいてプログラムされた電流源を前記表示画素の発光デバイスから切り離すよう命令する、請求項4に記載の電子ディスプレイ。
- 前記表示画素行をリセットするために、前記コントローラが前記走査ドライバに第2の走査制御信号を生成するように命令するように構成されており、前記第2の走査制御信号が、前記表示画素行内のそれぞれの表示画素に、前記第1のデータ信号とは異なるデータ信号を使用するように命令する、請求項2に記載の電子ディスプレイ。
- 電子ディスプレイを動作させる方法であって、
前記電子ディスプレイのディスプレイドライバ回路に画像データを受信することと、
前記ディスプレイドライバ回路を使用して、前記画像データに基づいて前記電子ディスプレイの表示画素をプログラムすることと、
前記ディスプレイドライバ回路を使用して、前記表示画素に発光させるように構成された第1の信号を送信することと、
前記ディスプレイドライバ回路を使用して、前記画像データの第1のルミナンスに基づいて前記表示画素に発光を停止させるように構成された第2の信号を送信することと、
前記ディスプレイドライバ回路を使用して、前記表示画素をリセットするように構成されたリセット電圧を印加することと、を含む方法。 - 前記ディスプレイドライバ回路を使用して初期電圧を印加することによって、前記表示画素を初期化することを含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記第1のルミナンスに基づいて前記第1の信号と前記第2の信号の間の持続時間を決定することを含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記表示画素に発光させた後に、前記画像データに基づいて別の表示画素をプログラムすることを含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の信号を送信した後に、別の表示画素に発光させるように構成された第3の信号を送信することを含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記表示画素をプログラムした後に、別の表示画素に発光を停止させる第3の信号を送信することを含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の信号を送信することが、前記画像データのフレームに関連付けられており、
前記第2の信号を送信することが、前記画像データの前記フレームに関連付けられており、

第1のフレーム持続時間の終了前に前記画素の第1の行をリセットし、
前記画像データを少なくとも部分的に前記第1のフレーム持続時間にわたって表示するように構成されている、電子デバイス。 - 前記電子ディスプレイが、前記表示画素の第1の行に初期電圧を印加することによって前記表示画素の第1の行を初期化することに少なくとも部分的によって、前記画像データを前記第1のフレーム持続時間にわたって表示するように構成されている、請求項15に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記電子ディスプレイが、前記表示画素の第1の行に発光させた後に、表示画素の第2の行を前記画像データでプログラムすることに少なくとも部分的によって、前記画像データを前記第1のフレーム持続時間にわたって表示するように構成されている、請求項15に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記電子ディスプレイが、前記発光持続時間の後に前記表示画素の第1の行に発光を停止させることに少なくとも部分的によって、前記画像データを前記第1のフレーム持続時間にわたって表示するように構成されている、請求項15に記載の電子デバイス。
