Abstract
Description
本出願は、2016年12月12日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/433,142号明細書の利益を主張し、その開示はその全体が参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
本発明は、国立衛生研究所によって授与された助成金番号EB014986の下で政府の支援を受けてなされた。政府は本発明において一定の権利を有する。

前記3次元プリントされたインプラントは、ポリエチレングリコールジアクリレートもしくはゼラチンメタクリロール、またはそれらの組み合わせを含む、付記1に記載のインプラント。
前記インプラントは、脊髄に対する生体模倣物である、付記1に記載のインプラント。
前記インプラントは、末梢神経に対する生体模倣物である、付記1に記載のインプラント。
前記チャネルは、線形である、付記1に記載のインプラント。
前記チャネルは、互いに平行である、付記1に記載のインプラント。
前記チャネルは、再生軸索を前記第1端部から前記第2端部へ案内する、付記1に記載のインプラント。
前記インプラントは、ハニカム構造としてクラスター化された六角形の断面を有する2つ以上のチャネルを含む、付記1に記載のインプラント。
神経損傷の治療を必要とする被移植体における前記神経損傷を治療する方法であって、
付記1に記載の生体模倣インプラントを治療を必要とする場所に移植することと、
前記損傷部位における細胞の再生を可能にすることと、
を含む、方法。
前記神経損傷は、脊髄損傷、運動完全脊髄損傷、運動不全脊髄損傷、または末梢神経損傷である、付記14に記載の方法。
前記神経損傷は、脊髄損傷である、付記15に記載の方法。
前記神経損傷は、末梢神経損傷である、付記15に記載の方法。
前記被移植体に理学療法を提供することをさらに含む、付記14に記載の方法。
前記損傷の領域を決定するために治療を必要とする被移植体の脊髄または末梢神経の位置をスキャンすることと、
前記損傷の領域を囲むように前記インプラントを3次元プリントすることと、
を含む、付記1に記載の生体模倣インプラントを製造する方法。
Claims (19)
- 第1端部および第2端部を含み、コアおよびシェルを含み、損傷部位の構造を模倣する3次元(3D)インプラントと、
前記第1端部から始まり前記第2端部で終わる前記シェル内の少なくとも1つのチャネルと、
前記少なくとも1つのチャネルに含まれる少なくとも1つの種類の幹細胞と、
を含む、脊髄または末梢神経損傷用の生体模倣インプラント。 - インプラントは、3Dプリンティングによって製造される、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記少なくとも1種類の幹細胞は、神経幹細胞である、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記神経幹細胞は、胚性幹細胞、iPSC由来幹細胞、直接分化神経幹細胞、またはそれらの組み合わせである、請求項3に記載のインプラント。
- 前記少なくとも1種類の幹細胞は、間葉系幹細胞である、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記幹細胞は、BDNF、NT3、GDNF、またはそれらの組み合わせを発現するように操作される、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記3次元プリントされたインプラントは、ポリエチレングリコールジアクリレートもしくはゼラチンメタクリロール、またはそれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記インプラントは、脊髄に対する生体模倣物である、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記インプラントは、末梢神経に対する生体模倣物である、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記チャネルは、線形である、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記チャネルは、互いに平行である、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記チャネルは、再生軸索を前記第1端部から前記第2端部へ案内する、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記インプラントは、ハニカム構造としてクラスター化された六角形の断面を有する2つ以上のチャネルを含む、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 神経損傷の治療を必要とする被移植体における前記神経損傷を治療する方法であって、
請求項1に記載の生体模倣インプラントを治療を必要とする場所に移植することと、
前記損傷部位における細胞の再生を可能にすることと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記神経損傷は、脊髄損傷、運動完全脊髄損傷、運動不全脊髄損傷、または末梢神経損傷である、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記神経損傷は、脊髄損傷である、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記神経損傷は、末梢神経損傷である、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記被移植体に理学療法を提供することをさらに含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記損傷の領域を決定するために治療を必要とする被移植体の脊髄または末梢神経の位置をスキャンすることと、
前記損傷の領域を囲むように前記インプラントを3次元プリントすることと、
を含む、請求項1に記載の生体模倣インプラントを製造する方法。
