Abstract
Description
板厚t≦加工変形寸法L
なる不等式が成り立つ条件まで、直角段落ち形状部13の形成を行うことが可能であることが示されている。なお、上記不等式が成り立つことを確認した具体的な加工実績としては、ボールスプラインについて、板厚t=0.5mm<加工変形寸法L=0.525mm(外径φ4.2mmをφ3.15mmに加工)との実績値や、精密ボールねじについて、板厚t=2.15mm<加工変形寸法L=2.5mm(外径φ15.3mmをφ10.3mmに加工)との実績値が、発明者らによって確認されている。
本実施形態に係る中空軸部材10は、例えば、図7において示されるようなボールねじ装置70のねじ軸71として構成することが可能である。図7は、本実施形態に係る中空軸部材をボールねじ装置のねじ軸として構成した場合を例示する図である。かかるボールねじ装置70は、内方部材としてのねじ軸71と、このねじ軸71に複数のボール73を介して相対回転可能に取り付けられる外方部材としてのナット部材72とを備えた装置である。
さらに、本実施形態に係る中空軸部材10は、例えば、図8において示されるようなスプライン装置80のスプライン軸81として構成することが可能である。図8は、本実施形態に係る中空軸部材をスプライン装置のスプライン軸として構成した場合を例示する図である。
Claims (5)
- 中空軸状をした管状素材の両軸端部にスウェージング加工を施すことで当該両軸端部それぞれに形成される一対の縮径部と、
前記一対の縮径部の間に配置されるとともに当該一対の縮径部の外径よりも大きい外径を有する中間部と、
を備える中空軸部材であって、
前記中間部と前記縮径部との接続境界の形状が、軸方向に対して略直角に段落ちする直角段落ち形状部として形成されており、当該直角段落ち形状部が前記スウェージング加工によって形成されることを特徴とする中空軸部材。 - 請求項1に記載の中空軸部材において、
前記一対の縮径部と前記直角段落ち形状部は、中空軸状をした管状素材の両軸端部に焼鈍処理を行った後に実行される前記スウェージング加工によって形成されることを特徴とする中空軸部材。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の中空軸部材において、
前記一対の縮径部と前記直角段落ち形状部の断面の金属組織を顕微鏡観察したときに、前記スウェージング加工によるメタルフローが形成されていることを特徴とする中空軸部材。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の中空軸部材において、
前記一対の縮径部の内径よりも前記中間部の内径が大きいことを特徴とする中空軸部材。 - 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の中空軸部材が備える前記中間部の外面に軌道面を形成して内方部材とし、
前記内方部材の軌道面に対向する軌道面を有する外方部材と、
前記両軌道面間に転動自在に配置される複数の転動体と、
を備え、
前記内方部材の外側に前記複数の転動体を介して前記外方部材を組み付けることで形成されることを特徴とする転動装置。
