‐酸溶出工程S1により得られた被処理液から不溶残渣を分離する固液分離工程S2と、
‐固液分離工程S2後の被処理液にアルカリの水溶液を添加してpHを4〜6に調整する第1pH調整工程S3と、
‐第1pH調整工程S3により析出した不純物金属の塩の結晶を含む析出物を被処理液から分離する固液分離工程S4(特許請求の範囲に記載の「第1固液分離工程」に該当)と、
‐固液分離工程S4後の被処理液にアルカリの水溶液を添加してpHを7〜11に調整する第2pH調整工程S5と、
‐第2pH調整工程S5により析出したコバルト塩の結晶を含む析出物を被処理液から分離する固液分離工程S6(特許請求の範囲に記載の「第2固液分離工程」に該当)と、
‐固液分離工程S6後の被処理液を蒸発濃縮する濃縮工程S7と、
‐濃縮工程S7後の被処理液に炭酸ガスを混合する及び/又は水溶性の炭酸塩を添加する炭酸化工程S8と、
‐炭酸化工程S8により析出した炭酸リチウムの結晶を含む析出物を被処理液から分離する固液分離工程S9(特許請求の範囲に記載の「第3固液分離工程」に該当)と、

Claims (5)
- コバルト及び不純物金属が少なくとも溶解した酸性の被処理液にアルカリの水溶液を添加してpHを4〜6に調整することで、該不純物金属の塩を結晶として析出させる第1pH調整工程と、
前記第1pH調整工程により析出した不純物金属の塩の結晶を含む析出物を被処理液から分離する第1固液分離工程と、
前記第1固液分離工程後の被処理液にアルカリの水溶液を添加してpHを7〜11に調整することで、コバルト塩を結晶として析出させる第2pH調整工程と、
前記第2pH調整工程により析出したコバルト塩の結晶を含む析出物を被処理液から分離する第2固液分離工程と、を有し、
前記第1pH調整工程で添加されるアルカリの水溶液のアルカリ濃度が1.0mol/L未満である、コバルト回収方法。 - 前記第1pH調整工程で添加されるアルカリの水溶液のアルカリ濃度が0.1mol/L以上である、請求項1に記載のコバルト回収方法。
- 前記第1pH調整工程では、被処理液のpHが4より小さい所定値となるまでは1.0mol/L以上のアルカリ濃度を有するアルカリの水溶液を被処理液に添加し、その後、1.0mol/L未満のアルカリ濃度を有するアルカリの水溶液を被処理液に添加して、被処理液のpHを4〜6に調整する、請求項1又は2に記載のコバルト回収方法。
- 被処理液にリチウムが溶解しており、
前記第2固液分離工程後の被処理液を蒸発濃縮する濃縮工程と、
前記濃縮工程後の被処理液に炭酸ガスを混合する及び/又は水溶性の炭酸塩を添加する炭酸化工程と、を有する、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のコバルト回収方法。 - 前記炭酸化工程により析出した炭酸リチウムの結晶を含む析出物を被処理液から分離する第3固液分離工程と、
前記第3固液分離工程後の被処理液に対してバイポーラ膜電気透析を行うことにより該被処理液からアルカリを分離して回収する電気透析工程と、をさらに有し、
前記電気透析工程で回収したアルカリを前記第1pH調整工程及び/又は前記第2pH調整工程で添加するアルカリとして再利用する、請求項4に記載のコバルト回収方法。
