Abstract
Description
充放電に伴い発熱する車両走行用の電池(4)から受けた熱を輸送する液状の熱輸送媒体(14)は、液状の基材と、基材に相溶するオルトケイ酸エステルと、基材に分散するイオン吸着材とを含む。
車両に搭載される車両用熱マネジメントシステムは、
充放電に伴い発熱する車両走行用の電池(4)と、
電池から受けた熱を輸送する液状の熱輸送媒体(14)と、
電池との熱交換によって熱輸送媒体を受熱させる受熱部(16)と、
熱交換媒体との熱交換によって熱輸送媒体を放熱させる熱交換器(18)とを備え、
熱輸送媒体は、液状の基材と、基材に相溶するオルトケイ酸エステルと、基材に分散するイオン吸着材とを含み、
イオン吸着材は、複数の固体粒子(15)で構成され、かつ、熱輸送媒体中0に存在する陰イオンと陽イオンとの少なくとも一方であって、熱交換器から熱輸送媒体に溶出した熱交換器由来のイオンを吸着する。
図1に示す車両用熱マネジメントシステム10は、電動車両に搭載される。以下では、車両用熱マネジメントシステム10は、単に、システム10と呼ばれる。電動車両は、走行用電動モータ2から車両走行用の駆動力を得る。電動車両としては、電気自動車、プラグインハイブリッド自動車、電動2輪等が挙げられる。電動車両の車輪数や車両用途は限定されない。電動車両には、走行用電動モータ2と、電池4、インバータ6が搭載されている。
この場合、図1に示すように、熱輸送媒体回路12では、流路切替部28は、熱輸送媒体14が流れる状態を第1状態とする。冷媒放熱器44へ車両の外部の空気45が供給される。
この場合、図2に示すように、熱輸送媒体回路12では、流路切替部28は、第2状態とする。冷媒放熱器44へ車両の外部の空気45が供給される。
本実施形態では、複数の固体粒子15として、陰イオン交換樹脂で構成されたものが用いられる。陽イオン交換樹脂で構成されたものは、用いられない。これ以外のシステム10の構成は、第1実施形態と同じである。

本実施形態では、熱輸送媒体14は、下記の式(I)、(II)または(III)で示されるSi化合物をさらに含む。
(1)第1実施形態等では、イオン吸着材は、熱輸送媒体14中の陽イオンを吸着すると同時に、水素イオンを熱輸送媒体14中に放出する。しかしながら、イオン吸着材は、水素イオン以外の陽イオンを放出するものであってもよい。この場合、放出される陽イオンは、吸着される陽イオンが熱輸送媒体14に存在する場合と比較して、熱輸送媒体14の導電率を低下させることができるものであればよい。すなわち、放出される陽イオンは、吸着される陽イオンよりも電気陰性度が低いものであればよい。
上記各実施形態の一部または全部で示された第1の観点によれば、充放電に伴い発熱する車両走行用の電池から受けた熱を輸送する液状の熱輸送媒体は、液状の基材と、基材に相溶するオルトケイ酸エステルと、基材に分散するイオン吸着材とを含み、かつ、イオン性防錆剤を含まない。イオン吸着材は、複数の固体粒子で構成され、かつ、熱輸送媒体中に存在する陰イオンと陽イオンとの少なくとも一方のイオンを吸着する。

Claims (7)
- 充放電に伴い発熱する車両走行用の電池(4)から受けた熱を輸送する液状の熱輸送媒体(14)であって、
液状の基材と、
前記基材に相溶するオルトケイ酸エステルと、
前記基材に分散するイオン吸着材とを含み、
前記イオン吸着材は、複数の固体粒子(15)で構成され、かつ、前記熱輸送媒体中に存在する陰イオンと陽イオンとの少なくとも一方のイオンを吸着する、熱輸送媒体。 - 前記イオン吸着材は、前記陰イオンと前記陽イオンとの両方を吸着する、請求項1に記載の熱輸送媒体。
- 前記複数の固体粒子は、骨格が合成樹脂からなるイオン交換樹脂で構成される、請求項1または2に記載の熱輸送媒体。
- 前記熱輸送媒体は、下記の式(I)、(II)または(III)で示されるSi化合物をさらに含む、請求項1ないし3のいずれか1つに記載の熱輸送媒体。
- 車両に搭載される車両用熱マネジメントシステムであって、
充放電に伴い発熱する車両走行用の電池(4)と、
前記電池から受けた熱を輸送する液状の熱輸送媒体(14)と、
前記電池との熱交換によって前記熱輸送媒体を受熱させる受熱部(16)と、
熱交換媒体との熱交換によって前記熱輸送媒体を放熱させる熱交換器(18)とを備え、
前記熱輸送媒体は、液状の基材と、前記基材に相溶するオルトケイ酸エステルと、前記基材に分散するイオン吸着材とを含み、
前記イオン吸着材は、複数の固体粒子(15)で構成され、かつ、前記熱輸送媒体中に存在する陰イオンと陽イオンとの少なくとも一方であって、前記熱交換器から前記熱輸送媒体に溶出した熱交換器由来のイオンを吸着する、車両用熱マネジメントシステム。 - 前記熱交換器を構成する部材には、ろう付け用のフラックスが付着しており、
前記熱交換器由来のイオンは、前記フラックスから生成した陽イオンと陰イオンの両方である、請求項5に記載の車両用熱マネジメントシステム。 - 前記熱交換媒体は、空気、オイルまたは冷凍サイクルの冷媒である、請求項5または6に記載の車両用熱マネジメントシステム。
