Claims (16)
- 第一の基板と、
第一の基板に対向するように設置される第二の基板と、
前記第一の基板と前記第二の基板との間に位置する液晶層と、
前記第一の基板と前記液晶層との間に位置する、第一の部分及び第二の部分を有する透明層と、
前記透明層の前記第一の部分と前記第二の部分との間に位置する、前記液晶層に近接する平坦表面を有する第一の補償層と
を含む、電気的に調整可能な光位相変調素子。 - 前記第一の補償層の前記平坦表面と前記透明層の前記液晶層に近接する表面とはコプレーナである、請求項1に記載の電気的に調整可能な光位相変調素子。
- 前記第一の補償層及び前記透明層の上に位置する第二の補償層をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の電気的に調整可能な光位相変調素子。
- 前記第一の補償層は前記第二の補償層に近接する層を有し、前記第一の補償層の前記層は前記第二の補償層と異なる材料で製造されたものである、請求項3に記載の電気的に調整可能な光位相変調素子。
- 前記第一の補償層は前記第二の補償層に近接する層を有し、前記第一の補償層の前記層は前記第二の補償層と同じ材料で製造されたものである、請求項3に記載の電気的に調整可能な光位相変調素子。
- 前記第一の補償層と前記第二の補償層との間に界面があり、前記界面と前記透明層の前記液晶層に近接する表面とはコプレーナである、請求項3に記載の電気的に調整可能な光位相変調素子。
- 前記透明層の前記第一の部分の表面と前記透明層の前記第二の部分の表面とはコプレーナである、請求項1に記載の電気的に調整可能な光位相変調素子。
- 前記第一の補償層は複数の層を含み、前記第一の補償層のそれらの層の少なくとも2つは異なる屈折率を有する、請求項1に記載の電気的に調整可能な光位相変調素子。
- 前記透明層は導電材料で製造されたものである、請求項1に記載の電気的に調整可能な光位相変調素子。
- 適用される波長範囲内で、前記第一の補償層と前記透明層との屈折率の差は0.1未満である、請求項9に記載の電気的に調整可能な光位相変調素子。
- 前記第一の基板は第一の領域及び第二の領域を有し、前記透明層は前記第一の領域に位置し、かつ前記第二の領域に位置せず、前記電気的に調整可能な光位相変調素子の前記第一の領域での反射率と前記電気的に調整可能な光位相変調素子の前記第二の領域での反射率との差は0.1未満である、請求項9に記載の電気的に調整可能な光位相変調素子。
- 前記透明層と前記第一の基板との間に位置するパターニングされた透明導電層をさらに含み、前記パターニングされた透明導電層が第一の電極及び第二の電極を有し、前記第一の電極と前記第二の電極がギャップで隔てられ、かつ前記透明層の前記第一の部分と前記第二の部分がそれぞれ前記パターニングされた透明導電層の前記第一の電極及び前記第二の電極の上に位置する、請求項1に記載の電気的に調整可能な光位相変調素子。
- 適用される波長範囲内で、前記第一の補償層と前記パターニングされた透明導電層との屈折率の差は0.1未満である、請求項12に記載の電気的に調整可能な光位相変調素子。
- 前記第一の基板は第一の領域及び第二の領域を有し、前記パターニングされた透明導電層は前記第一の領域に位置し、かつ前記第二の領域に位置せず、前記電気的に調整可能な光位相変調素子の前記第一の領域での反射率と前記電気的に調整可能な光位相変調素子の前記第二の領域での反射率との差は0.1未満である、請求項12に記載の電気的に調整可能な光位相変調素子。
- 前記液晶層と前記第一の基板との間に位置するモザイク防止層をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の電気的に調整可能な光位相変調素子。
- 前記第二の基板と前記液晶層との間に位置する対向透明導電層をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の電気的に調整可能な光位相変調素子。
