Abstract
Description
本実施形態では、加工精度の低下が生じた際、3つの温度環境診断指数の判定結果に基づき算出された総合判定結果をモニタ9に表示する。これにより、現温度環境の加工精度への影響度を容易に把握することができるため、加工精度の低下が生じる主要因の1つである温度環境が原因となって問題が発生したか否かの切り分けを即座に行うことができる。従って、従来のように加工精度が低下した原因を一から調査していく場合と比較して、加工精度の低下が生じる原因を限定することができるため、問題が生じてから原因を特定して対処するまでの時間を抑えることができる。

Claims (6)
- 放電加工によって被加工物を加工する放電加工装置であって、
所定時間毎に前記放電加工装置の温度を測定する温度センサと、
前記温度センサの測定結果から、現温度環境下にて放電加工を行った場合に得られる前記被加工物の加工精度を判定するための指標となる温度環境診断指数の値を算出し、前記温度環境診断指数の値と所望の加工精度を得るために推奨される前記温度環境診断指数の基準値とを比較し、その差分の大きさに応じて前記放電加工装置周辺の現温度環境が所望の加工精度を得るために適当か否かの度合を示す判定結果を出力する制御装置と、
前記基準値および前記判定結果が記憶された記憶部と、
を備え、
前記温度環境診断指数は、温度と時間の変数を含む指数であることを特徴とする放電加工装置。 - 前記制御装置は、前記判定結果に基づき算出された1つの総合判定結果を出力することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の放電加工装置。
- 前記記憶部には、前記判定結果を改善するための対処方法が記憶され、
前記制御装置は、算出された前記判定結果に対応する前記対処方法を出力することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の放電加工装置。 - 前記温度環境診断指数は、前記放電加工装置の基準温度の所定期間における平均値である平均基準温度変化幅、前記放電加工装置の上部と下部の温度差の最大最小差の所定期間における平均値である平均上下温度差変動幅、および、前記基準温度の最大変化率の所定期間における平均値である平均基準温度変化率のうちの少なくとも1つ以上を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1〜3の何れかに記載の放電加工装置。
- 前記制御装置は、一年を通して最も前記基準温度の平均値が高い所定期間の前記基準温度差の平均値と、最も前記基準温度の平均値が低い所定期間の前記基準温度の平均値との差である平均基準温度差を算出し、前記平均基準温度差の値と所望の加工精度を得るために推奨される前記平均基準温度差の基準値とを比較し、その差分の大きさに応じて加工精度の低下が発生する可能性の度合を示す判定結果を出力することを特徴とする請求項1〜4の何れかに記載の放電加工装置。
- 前記制御装置は、所定期間における前記放電加工装置の平均稼働率を算出し、前記平均稼働率の値と所望の加工精度を得るために推奨される前記平均稼働率の基準値とを比較し、その差分の大きさに応じて前記判定結果の信頼性の度合を示す判定結果を出力することを特徴とする請求項1〜5の何れかに記載の放電加工装置。
