Abstract
Description
本出願は、2018年5月9日に出願された台湾特許出願第107115734号の優先権を主張するもので、その全体が参照することにより本明細書に援用される。
Claims (12)
- 第1の成分および第2の成分を含む液晶組成物であって、前記第1の成分が1つまたはそれ以上の式(I)で表される化合物を含み、前記第2の成分が1つまたはそれ以上の式(II)で表される化合物を含む、液晶組成物。
(式中、R1およびR2は独立に、F、C1−C10アルキル基、C1−C10アルコキシ基、C2−C10アルケニル基、C2−C10アルケニルオキシ基、またはC2−C10アルキニル基であり、前記C1−C10アルキル基、前記C1−C10アルコキシ基、前記C2−C10アルケニル基、前記C2−C10アルケニルオキシ基、もしくは前記C2−C10アルキニル基は非置換である、またはその少なくとも1つの-CH2-が-O-、-NH-、-S-、-CO-、-O-CO-、-CO-O-もしくは-O-CO-O-で置換されている(ただし、前記-O-、-NH-、-S-、-CO-、-O-CO-、-CO-O-もしくは-O-CO-O-は互いに直接結合しない)、および/または前記C1−C10アルキル基、前記C1−C10アルコキシ基、前記C2−C10アルケニル基、前記C2−C10アルケニルオキシ基、もしくは前記C2−C10アルキニル基の少なくとも1つの水素が非置換であるか、あるいはハロゲン、CN、もしくはCF3で置換されている。
m、m’、nおよびn’の各々は独立に0から6の整数を表し、前記m、m’、nおよびn’は同じであるか、または異なる。) - 第3の成分、第4の成分、第5の成分およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選ばれる成分をさらに含み、
前記第3の成分が、1つまたはそれ以上の式(III)で表される化合物を含み、
(式中、R3およびR4の各々は独立に、F、C1−C10アルキル基、C1−C10アルコキシ基、C2−C10アルケニル基、C2−C10アルケニルオキシ基、またはC2−C10アルキニル基を表し、前記C1−C10アルキル基、前記C1−C10アルコキシ基、前記C2−C10アルケニル基、前記C2−C10アルケニルオキシ基、もしくは前記C2−C10アルキニル基は非置換である、またはその少なくとも1つの-CH2-が-O-、-NH-、-S-、-CO-、-O-CO-、-CO-O-もしくは-O-CO-O-で置換されている(ただし、前記-O-、-NH-、-S-、-CO-、-O-CO-、-CO-O-、もしくは-O-CO-O-は互いに直接結合しない)、および/または前記C1−C10アルキル基、前記C1−C10アルコキシ基、前記C2−C10アルケニル基、前記C2−C10アルケニルオキシ基、もしくは前記C2−C10アルキニル基の少なくとも1つの水素が非置換であるか、あるいはハロゲン、CN、もしくはCF3で置換されている。
前記第5の成分が、1つまたはそれ以上の式(V)で表される化合物を含む、
(式中、R5、R6、R7およびR8の各々は独立に、F、C1−C10アルキル基、C1−C10アルコキシ基、C2−C10アルケニル基、C2−C10アルケニルオキシ基、またはC2−C10アルキニル基を表し、前記C1−C10アルキル基、前記C1−C10アルコキシ基、前記C2−C10アルケニル基、前記C2−C10アルケニルオキシ基、もしくは前記C2−C10アルキニル基は非置換である、またはその少なくとも1つの-CH2-が-O-、-NH-、-S-、-CO-、-O-CO-、-CO-O-もしくは-O-CO-O-で置換されている(ただし、前記-O-、-NH-、-S-、-CO-、-O-CO-、-CO-O-もしくは-O-CO-O-は互いに直接結合しない)、および/または前記C1−C10アルキル基、前記C1−C10アルコキシ基、前記C2−C10アルケニル基、前記C2−C10アルケニルオキシ基、もしくは前記C2−C10アルキニル基の少なくとも1つの水素が非置換であるか、あるいはハロゲン、CN、もしくはCF3で置換されている。
- 前記液晶組成物が前記第3の成分を含む請求項2に記載の液晶組成物。
- 前記第3の成分が、2つまたはそれ以上の式(III)で表される化合物を含む、請求項4に記載の液晶組成物。
- 前記液晶組成物が、前記液晶組成物の総重量をベースとして、5〜50wt%の前記第4の成分を含む、請求項2に記載の液晶組成物。
- Z3が-CF2-O-、または-O-CF2-である、請求項1に記載の液晶組成物。
- 前記第1の成分が、2つまたはそれ以上の式(I)で表される化合物を含む、請求項1に記載の液晶組成物。
- 前記液晶組成物が、前記液晶組成物の総重量をベースとして、0.1〜35wt%の前記第1の成分、0.1〜20wt%の前記第2の成分、0〜65wt%の前記第3の成分、0〜50wt%の前記第4の成分および0〜15wt%の前記第5の成分を含む、請求項2に記載の液晶組成物。
- 前記液晶組成物の誘電率異方性(△ε)が2よりも大きく、前記液晶組成物のVHRとUV VHRとの差(△VHR)が15%以下である、請求項1に記載の液晶組成物。
- 第1の基板と、
前記第1の基板に対向して配置された第2の基板と、
前記第1の基板と前記第2の基板との間に配置された液晶層と、を含み、
前記液晶層が請求項11に記載の前記液晶組成物を含む、液晶ディスプレイデバイス。
