R3は、C1〜7アルキルまたはC2〜7アルケニルを表し;
nは、2〜6の整数を表し;
一般式Iの化合物は、液晶組成物の総重量の1〜35重量%を提供する。

一般式Iの化合物は、液晶組成物の総重量の5〜30重量%を提供する。
R4およびR5は、各々独立してC1〜12アルキルもしくはアルコキシ、またはC2〜12アルケニルもしくはアルケノキシを表し、前記アルキルまたはアルコキシおよび前記アルケニルまたはアルケノキシ中の1つ以上の隣接していない−CH2−が、酸素原子が直接結合しないように、各々独立して−O−で置換されていてもよく;

Z1は、単結合、−CH2O−、−CF2O−または−COO−を表し;
mは、0または1を表す、

R6およびR7は、各々独立してC1〜12アルキルもしくはアルコキシ、またはC2〜12アルケニルもしくはアルケノキシを表し、前記アルキルまたはアルコキシおよび前記アルケニルまたはアルケノキシ中の1つ以上の隣接していない−CH2−が、酸素原子が直接結合しないように、各々独立して−O−で置換されていてもよく;

Claims (12)
- R2は、C1〜12アルコキシまたはC2〜12アルケノキシを表し、前記C2〜12アルコキシまたはC2〜12アルケノキシ中の1つ以上の隣接していない−CH2−は、酸素原子が直接結合しないように、各々独立して−O−で置き換えられ得ることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の液晶組成物。
- 前記液晶組成物が、一般式Iの少なくとも2つの化合物を含み、前記一般式Iの化合物が、前記液晶組成物の総重量の1〜35重量%を提供することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の液晶組成物。
- 前記一般式Iの化合物が、前記液晶組成物の総重量の5〜30重量%を提供することを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の液晶組成物。
- 前記一般式Iの化合物が、前記液晶組成物の総重量の1〜35重量%を提供することを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の液晶組成物。
- 前記一般式Iの化合物が、前記液晶組成物の総重量の5〜30重量%を提供することを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の液晶組成物。
- 前記液晶組成物が、一般式II
