Claims (10)
- 計算機(6)によって、インクジェット印刷機(7)において、欠陥を有する印刷ヘッド(5)を検出および補償する方法であって、
前記方法では、前記計算機(6)は、印刷ノズルテストパターンおよび/または面を占有している要素の評価によって、印刷ヘッド(5)の個々の印刷ノズルに対する特性値を求め、閾値に基づいて、前記印刷ノズルの故障確率(12)を計算し、特定の故障確率(12)を超えた場合に、該当する印刷ノズルを補償し、
前記計算機(6)は、印刷ヘッド(5)の前記個々の印刷ノズルの個別の前記故障確率(12)によって、前記印刷ヘッドの故障確率(17)を計算し、これに関連して、補償措置(18)が導入される方法において、
前記閾値が多次元特性値境界(16)に相当し、前記多次元特性値境界から、前記計算機(6)が、アルゴリズムを用いて、カーネル密度推定器(11)によって、多次元分布関数を介して、印刷ノズルの前記故障確率(12)を計算する、
という特徴を有している方法。 - 前記個々の印刷ノズルの前記特性値が、一連の個別測定から形成され、前記計算機(6)によって統計的に記述される、
請求項1記載の方法。 - 前記計算機(6)は、前記印刷ノズルテストパターンおよび/または面を占有している要素の評価時に、欠陥を有すると識別された、前記印刷ヘッド(5)の各印刷ノズルに対して、それぞれn個の隣接する前記印刷ノズルの非故障確率が相互に乗算されることによって、前記印刷ヘッドの故障確率(17)を計算し、これによって、欠陥を有する各印刷ノズルに対して補償確率(14)が得られ、前記補償確率(14)から、前記印刷ヘッドの故障確率(17)が計算される、
請求項1または2記載の方法。 - 前記計算機は、欠陥を有すると識別された各印刷ノズルに対する前記補償確率(14)から、前記補償確率(14)が相互に乗算されることによって、前記印刷ヘッドの故障確率(17)を計算する、
請求項3記載の方法。 - 前記印刷ヘッドの故障確率(17)を計算するために、まだ欠陥の識別および遮断が行われていない、n個の隣接する各印刷ノズルの前記非故障確率(12)だけが相互に乗算される、
請求項4記載の方法。 - 前記計算機(6)は、補償措置(18)の導入のために、前記印刷ヘッドの故障確率(17)に加えて付加的に、印刷ノズルの欠陥の識別および遮断が行われている場合に、各n個の隣接する印刷ノズルのうちの所定の印刷ノズルの欠陥の識別および遮断が同様に行われているか否かも考慮する、
請求項4または5記載の方法。 - 前記計算機は、欠陥を有する各印刷ノズルの前記補償確率(14)から最も低い値が選び出されることによって、前記印刷ヘッドの故障確率(17)を計算する、
請求項3記載の方法。 - 前記補償措置(18)は、パージ、洗浄および前記印刷ヘッド(5)の交換を含んでおり、前記印刷ヘッドの故障確率(17)が特定の境界値を上回ると導入される、
請求項1から7までのいずれか1項記載の方法。 - 前記計算機(6)は、印刷ヘッド(5)の前記個々の印刷ノズルの前記個別の故障確率(12)を計算するために、前記印刷ヘッド(5)における前記印刷ノズルの位置を考慮する、
請求項1から8までのいずれか1項記載の方法。 - 印刷ヘッド(5)の前記個々の印刷ノズルの前記個別の故障確率(12)の計算時に、各個々の印刷ノズルの印刷特性の重み付けが、特性値経過にわたった損失関数を使用して実行される、
