Abstract
Description
この実施例Iは、本発明の触媒組成物及び比較触媒の調製を説明する。
本発明の触媒組成物の実施形態は、主に擬ベーマイトを含む広孔アルミナ粉末を、強熱減量が約61%であるような含水量を有するプラスチック混合物、例えば押出可能な混合物を提供するような割合で、硝酸、及び水と混練させることによって調製された。コバルトを含むコバルト水溶液は、硝酸コバルトを水に溶解することによって調製され、モリブデンを含むモリブデン水溶液は、二モリブデン酸アンモニウムを30%過酸化水素水に溶解することによって調製された。2つの金属溶液を混練混合物に添加し、一定時間混合した後、少量の水酸化アンモニウムを混練混合物と混合した。次いで、得られた混合物を3.2mm三葉押出ダイを通して押し出し、押出物を乾燥し、か焼した。最終触媒組成物は、主にガンマ形態であるアルミナ、9.4重量%のモリブデン、及び3.6重量%のコバルトを含む。金属の重量%は、最終触媒の総重量を基準とし、酸化物形態の金属に関してである。
比較触媒組成物Aは、金属の濃度が本発明の触媒組成物のものよりも実質的に低いことを除いて、本発明の触媒であるように同様の方法で調製された。最終比較触媒組成物Aは、7.2重量%のモリブデン及び2.5重量%のコバルトを含有する。
含浸溶液は、最終触媒中に8.5重量%のモリブデン(元素基準で)及び3.3重量%のコバルト(元素基準で)を目的とするような量で、水性アンモニア、二モリブデン酸アンモニウム、及びコバルト水酸化物を混合することによって調製された。この混合物を、45oCに加熱し、コバルト1モル当たり1.2〜1.5モルのモノエタノールアミン(MEA)量を混合物に加えた。混合物を、金属塩が消化されるまで温度を維持しながら撹拌した。次いで、この溶液を水で約30oCに冷却し、溶液を含浸させるアルミナ球体の細孔容積に近似した溶液の総容量を提供するように水で仕上げをした。公称直径4mmのアルミナ球体またはビーズに溶液を含浸させ、時々混合しながら2時間熟成させて凝集を防止した。含浸させたアルミナ球体は、1時間、125oCの温度で対流式オーブンで乾燥させた。乾燥した球体は、1時間、538oCの温度でマッフル炉中でか焼した。
この実施例IIは、少なくとも一つの硫黄化合物の濃度を含むガス流の加水分解において実施例Iに記載の触媒の使用を示し、触媒の性能データを示す。
Claims (16)
- ガス流中に含有される硫黄化合物の接触還元に有用な触媒組成物であって、
擬ベーマイト、コバルト化合物、及びモリブデン化合物を含む共混練(comulled)混合物の成形凝集体を含み、前記成形凝集体が、ガンマアルミナ、少なくとも7.5重量%のモリブデン、及び少なくとも2.75重量%のコバルトを含む前記触媒組成物を得るために、か焼されており、各重量%が、前記触媒組成物及びその実際の形態にかかわらず酸化物としての金属の総重量を基準とする、触媒組成物。 - 前記触媒組成物が、前記触媒組成物の全細孔容積の6%未満が、10,000Åを超える細孔径を有する細孔内に含まれるような二峰性細孔構造を有する、請求項1に記載の触媒組成物。
- 前記触媒組成物の前記二峰性細孔構造が、前記触媒組成物の全細孔容積の15%超えかつ60%未満が、50Å〜150Åの範囲の細孔径を有する細孔内に含まれるようになっていることをさらに特徴とする、請求項2に記載の触媒組成物。
- 前記触媒組成物の前記二峰性細孔構造が、前記触媒組成物の全細孔容積の10%超えかつ50%未満が、1000Å〜10,000Åの範囲の細孔径を有する細孔内に含まれるようになっていることをさらに特徴とする、請求項3に記載の触媒組成物。
- 前記触媒組成物の前記二峰性細孔構造が、前記触媒組成物の全細孔容積の15%未満が、150Å〜1000Åの範囲の細孔径を有する細孔内に含まれるようになっていることをさらに特徴とする、請求項4に記載の触媒組成物。
- 前記触媒組成物が、1000Åを超える直径を有する細孔内に含まれる全細孔容積に対する10,000Åを超える直径を有する細孔内に含まれる全細孔容積の割合が、0.6未満であるようになっていることをさらに特徴とする、請求項5に記載の触媒組成物。
- 前記触媒組成物が、7.75〜15重量%のモリブデン及び2.85重量%〜6重量%のコバルトを含む、請求項に記載の触媒組成物。
- 前記触媒組成物の前記二峰性細孔構造が、前記触媒組成物の全細孔容積の20%超えかつ50%未満が、50Å〜150Åの範囲の細孔径を有する細孔内に含まれ、前記触媒組成物の全細孔容積の13%未満が、150Å〜1000Åの範囲の細孔径を有する細孔内に含まれ、前記触媒組成物の全細孔容積の12%超えかつ45%未満が、1000Å〜10,000Åの範囲の細孔径を有する細孔内に含まれ、前記触媒組成物の全細孔容積の6%未満が、10,000Åを超える細孔径を有する細孔内に含まれるようになっている、請求項7に記載の触媒組成物。
- 加水分解プロセスであって、硫黄化合物もしくは一酸化炭素、または両方を含むガス流を、触媒組成物を含有する反応帯域を画定し、適切な反応条件で運転される反応器に導入することと、前記ガス流を前記触媒組成物と接触させることと、を含み、前記触媒組成物が、擬ベーマイト、コバルト化合物、及びモリブデン化合物を含む共混練混合物の成形凝集体を含み、前記共混練混合物が、ガンマアルミナ、少なくとも7.5重量%のモリブデン、及び少なくとも2.75重量%のコバルトを含む前記触媒組成物を得るために、か焼されており、各重量%が、前記触媒組成物及びその実際の形態にかかわらず酸化物としての金属の総重量を基準とする、加水分解プロセス。
- 前記硫黄化合物が、前記ガス流中に0.01容量%〜2容量%の範囲の硫黄化合物の濃度で存在し、前記硫黄化合物が、硫化カルボニル(COS)、二硫化炭素(CS2)、二酸化硫黄(SO2)、及び元素状硫黄(Sx)からなる化合物群から選択される、請求項9に記載のプロセス。
- 前記適切な還元反応条件が、115℃〜300℃の範囲の、前記反応器への入口温度を含む、請求項10に記載のプロセス。
- 前記処理されたガス中の前記低下した硫黄化合物濃度が、75ppmv未満である、請求項11に記載のプロセス。
- ガス流中に含有される硫黄化合物もしくは一酸化炭素、または両方の接触還元に有用な触媒組成物を製造する方法であって、擬ベーマイト、コバルト成分及びモリブデン成分を混合して、共混練混合物を形成することと、前記共混練混合物を成形凝集体に成形することと、前記成形凝集体を乾燥及びか焼して、ガンマアルミナ、少なくとも7.5重量%のモリブデン、及び少なくとも2.75重量%のコバルトを含む前記触媒組成物を得ることと、を含み、 各重量%が、前記触媒組成物及びその実際の形態にかかわらず酸化物としての金属の総重量を基準とする、方法。
- 前記混合ステップが、前記コバルト成分の第1の水溶液及び前記モリブデン成分の第2の水溶液を、前記擬ベーマイトと共混練することを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記混合ステップにおいて、前記第1の水溶液及び前記第2の水溶液を前記擬ベーマイトと共混練する前に、粉末形態の前記擬ベーマイトを水及び硝酸と混合して、40%〜80%の範囲の強熱減量を有するプラスチック混合物を形成し、その後に、前記プラスチック混合物、前記第1の水溶液及び前記第2の水溶液を共混練して、前記共混練混合物を形成する、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の水溶液が、水に溶解した硝酸コバルトを含み、前記第2の水溶液が、水に溶解した二モリブデン酸アンモニウムを含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
