図4は、本発明の触媒および比較触媒に対する触媒材齢の関数としての、10ppmの硫黄濃度を有するディーゼル生成物を生成するための、一定テスト条件下でのディーゼル供給原料の脱硫にとって必要とされる反応温度のプロットを示す図である。
図5は、触媒支持体の慎重に制御された加熱処理と、それに続く、含浸加熱処理された触媒支持体の慎重に制御された加熱処理を使用する本発明方法の実施形態により作製された触媒の使用の結果得られた脱硫中間留分生成物の単一硫黄濃度を表す等高線を伴う等高線プロットを示す図である。
Claims (8)
- 超低硫黄ディーゼルの製造における使用に適した触媒組成物の製造方法であって、
水分を除いて、少なくとも90重量%のベーマイトを含む成形粒子を形成する工程、
前記成形粒子を、制御された温度条件下で加熱処理して、前記成形粒子の前記ベーマイトをガンマ−アルミナに変換する工程、
前記制御された温度条件を、454℃(850°F)から510℃(950°F)の範囲内の焼成温度に制御して、前記ベーマイトの非実質分を除く本質的にすべての量を、ガンマアルミナ以外のアルミナの結晶遷移相を含まないガンマアルミナを含むアルミナの結晶遷移相に変換することにより加熱処理成形粒子を得る工程、
水素化触媒成分を、前記加熱処理成形粒子の中に導入することにより、含浸加熱処理成形粒子を得る工程、および
前記含浸加熱処理成形粒子を加熱処理することにより、前記触媒組成物を得る工程、
を含む方法。 - 前記加熱処理成形粒子が、前記加熱処理成形粒子の全重量を基準にした重量割合で、5重量%未満のベーマイトを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記加熱処理成形粒子の前記アルミナの5重量%未満が、ガンマアルミナ以外のアルミナの前記遷移結晶相である、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記加熱処理成形粒子の中央孔径が、70オングストロームから120オングストロームの範囲にあり、前記加熱処理成形粒子の全孔容積が、0.5cc/gから1.1cc/gの範囲にあり、および前記加熱処理成形粒子の全孔容積の70%超が、70オングストロームから350オングストロームの孔径を有する孔において含まれる、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記水素化触媒成分が、モリブデン化合物、コバルト化合物、ニッケル化合物、リン化合物、およびこの様な化合物の1つ以上の任意の組合せからなる群から選択される、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記含浸加熱処理成形粒子の前記加熱処理が、前記触媒組成物のアルミナの少なくとも90重量%が、ガンマアルミナの結晶遷移相であり、ならびに前記触媒組成物のアルミナの5重量%未満が、ガンマアルミナ以外の結晶遷移相である様に行われる、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記触媒組成物が、80オングストロームから110オングストロームの範囲における中央孔径、0.6cc/gから1.1cc/gの範囲における全孔容積を有し、前記全孔容積の70%超が、80オングストロームから350オングストロームの孔径を有する孔において含まれることを特徴とする、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記触媒組成物がさらに、三酸化モリブデンとして計算して、3から30重量%の範囲におけるモリブデン化合物、酸化コバルトとして計算して、0.01から10重量%の範囲におけるコバルト化合物、およびリンとして計算して、0.01重量%から5重量%の範囲におけるリン化合物を含む、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
