Claims (14)
- 円筒状の缶の開放された一方の面にキャップアセンブリが結合されてクランピング部を形成し、前記クランピング部の上端面及びキャップアセンブリの上端の中央部位にそれぞれ第1の電極端子及び第2の電極端子を形成する複数の円筒状の電池セルと、
前記円筒状の電池セルのキャップアセンブリが同じ方向を向くように円筒状の電池セルが側面配列された状態で、前記電池セルのクランピング部の上端面に同時に結合される第1の電極端子接続プレートと、
を備えており、
前記第1の電極端子接続プレートは、
キャップアセンブリのクランピング部の上端面に溶接されるように、相対的に薄い厚さからなる溶接プレートと、
前記キャップアセンブリに対向する溶接プレートの上面に結合されており、前記クランピング部の上端面の第1の電極端子間の円滑な通電のために、前記溶接プレートに比べて相対的に厚い厚さからなる導電性プレートと、
を備えることを特徴とする電池パック。 - 前記第1の電極端子接続プレートは、板状型の構造からなっており、前記円筒状の電池セルの第2の電極端子を除くクランピング部の上端面に結合されるように、前記第2の電極端子に対応する部位に貫通孔が穿孔されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記貫通孔は、溶接プレート及び導電性プレートの互いに対応する部位に互いに連通するようにそれぞれ穿孔されており、
前記溶接プレートに穿孔された貫通孔は、導電性プレートに穿孔された貫通孔に比べて相対的に小さい内径を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電池パック。 - 前記溶接プレートの貫通孔は、その内周辺部位がキャップアセンブリのクランピング部の上端面に接するように、前記クランピング部の上端内周と上端外周との間において、クランピング部の上端内周に相対的に隣接して位置する大きさからなっており、
前記導電性プレートの貫通孔は、キャップアセンブリのクランピング部の上端面に接する溶接プレートの貫通孔の内周辺部位が上部から露出されるように、前記溶接プレートの貫通孔内周とクランピング部の上端外周との間において、前記クランピング部の上端外周に相対的に隣接して位置する大きさからなることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の電池パック。 - 前記導電性プレートの貫通孔を介して上部に露出される溶接プレートの貫通孔の内周部位の大きさは、キャップアセンブリのクランピング部の上端面の大きさに対して10%〜90%であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の電池パック。
- 前記溶接プレートの厚さは、0.1mm〜0.5mmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記導電性プレートの厚さは、1mm〜10mmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記溶接プレート及び導電性プレートは、それぞれ、銅、アルミニウム、ニッケル、銅合金、アルミニウム合金及びニッケル合金よりなる群から選ばれる互いに異なる一種以上の金属からなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記溶接プレート及び導電性プレートは、レーザ溶接により互いに結合されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池パックは、
前記円筒状の電池セルのキャップアセンブリに対向する第1の電極端子接続プレートの上面に位置し、前記キャップアセンブリの上端の中央部位に形成された第2の電極端子を接続するように、キャップアセンブリの上端の中央部位に同時に結合される第2の電極端子接続プレートと、
前記第1の電極端子接続プレートと第2の電極端子接続プレートとを絶縁させるように、前記第1の電極端子接続プレートと第2の電極端子接続プレートとの間に介在される絶縁部材と、
をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池パック。 - 前記第2の電極端子接続プレートは、キャップアセンブリの上端の中央部位に形成された第2の電極端子に対応する接続部位が、前記第2の電極端子に対面して結合されるように、下向きに突出していることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の電池パック。
- 前記第2の電極端子接続プレートは、水平断面上にキャップアセンブリの上端の中央部位に形成された第2の電極端子に対応する接続部位の大きさが、第1の電極端子接続プレートの溶接プレートに穿孔された貫通孔の内周部位の大きさに対して、50%〜90%であることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の電池パック。
- 前記絶縁部材は、平面構造が第1の電極端子接続プレートと同じ構造からなる絶縁性シートであることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の電池パック。
- 前記絶縁性シートは、第1の電極端子接続プレート及び第2の電極端子接続プレートにそれぞれ対面する両面のうちの少なくとも一方の面に接着性物質が付加されていることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の電池パック。
