Abstract
Description
アクリルゴムは、アクリル酸アルキルエステルまたはアクリル酸アルコキシアルキルエステルを主たるモノマー成分とし、架橋点となる官能基を有する架橋性モノマーを共重合させた重合体である。
本発明者は、下記の特性を有するシリカを使用することによって、アクリルゴム組成物においてカーボンブラックに代わる充填剤として有効に働き、架橋後の引張強さに優れ、透光性に優れたアクリルゴム組成物を得ることができることを見出した。
アクリルゴム組成物には、上記の各成分以外に、必要に応じて、公知の配合剤、例えば、架橋剤、架橋促進剤、補強剤、充填剤、老化防止剤、安定剤、可塑剤等を適宜添加することができる。
(実施例1〜3、比較例1〜5)
実施例、比較例に用いたアクリルゴム組成物の原料は、以下のとおりである。
充填剤:シリカ微粒子
(1)東ソー・シリカ社製、Nipsil LP、平均1次粒子径:12nm、嵩密度:60〜80g/L
(2)トクヤマ社製、レオロシール CP102、平均1次粒子径:16nm、嵩密度:50g/L
(3)東ソー・シリカ社製、Nipsil ER、平均1次粒子径:32nm、嵩密度:70〜120g/L
(4)東ソー・シリカ社製、Nipsil E74P、平均1次粒子径:80nm、嵩密度:180〜240g/L
架橋剤:硫黄
加工助剤:ステアリン酸
架橋助剤:ステアリン酸ナトリウム/ステアリン酸カリウム
加工助剤ステアリン酸は、アクリルゴム100質量部に対して1質量部を使用し、架橋助剤ステアリン酸ナトリウム/ステアリン酸カリウムは、アクリルゴム100質量部に対して3.5/1.2質量部を使用した。
(1)引張強さ:JIS K6251:2010に準拠して行った。5MPa以上であるとき良好であると判定した。
(2)透光性:架橋ゴムシートの下に新聞紙を置き、肉眼によって透光性の相対的な判定を行った。評価基準は以下のとおりである。
○:透明であり、新聞紙の文字が容易に判読できる
△:半透明であり、新聞紙の文字が認識できる
×:不透明であり、新聞紙の文字が認識できない
平均1次粒子径20nm以下のシリカを25〜80質量部含有する実施例1〜3のアクリルゴム組成物は、架橋後の引張強さに優れ、透光性にも優れていた。比較例1のアクリルゴム組成物は、シリカの配合量が少ないために、透光性は良好であったが、架橋後の引張強さに劣るものであった。比較例2のアクリルゴム組成物は、シリカの平均1次粒子径が大きく、シリカの配合量も少な目であるため、架橋後の引張強さおよび透光性に劣るものであった。比較例3〜5のアクリルゴム組成物は、シリカの平均1次粒子径が大きいため、架橋後の引張強さは良好であったが、透光性に劣るものであった。
Claims (2)
- アクリルゴム100質量部に対して、平均1次粒子径20nm以下のシリカを25〜80質量部配合してなるアクリルゴム組成物。
- 前記シリカの嵩密度が40〜100g/Lであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアクリルゴム組成物。
