Claims (8)
- デコーディング装置により符号化ビデオ信号を含むビットストリームをデコーディングする方法であって、
前記デコーディング装置により、現在ブロックに使用される動きベクトル候補を示す、前記現在ブロックの動きベクトル指示情報を前記ビットストリームから取得するステップと、
前記デコーディング装置により、空間的動きベクトル候補と時間的動きベクトル候補のうち少なくとも1つを含む2つの動きベクトル候補からなる、前記現在ブロックの動きベクトル候補セットを決定するステップと、
前記デコーディング装置により、前記動きベクトル候補セットからの前記動きベクトル指示情報に対応する前記動きベクトル候補として、前記現在ブロックの予測された動きベクトルを決定するステップと、
前記デコーディング装置により、前記決定された予測された動きベクトルに基づいて前記現在ブロックを復元するステップと、を含み、
一定の条件が満足される場合、2つの空間的動きベクトル候補は前記現在ブロックの前記動きベクトル候補セットとして決定され、
前記一定の条件が満足されない場合、一つの空間的動きベクトル候補と一つの時間的動きベクトル候補が前記現在ブロックの前記動きベクトル候補セットとして決定される、方法。 - 前記一定の条件は、
以前のピクチャの動きベクトルの平均値が閾値と等しいか大きいことを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記一定の条件は、
前記現在ブロックのブロックタイプがスキップモードであるか、又は16×16モードであることを更に含む、請求項2に記載の方法。 - 前記時間的動きベクトル候補は、前記現在ブロックを含む現在ピクチャ以外のピクチャの前記現在ブロックと同一の位置のブロックの動きベクトルである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 符号化ビデオ信号を含むビットストリームのデコーディング装置であって、
現在ブロックに使用される動きベクトル候補を示す前記現在ブロックの動きベクトル指示情報を前記ビットストリームから取得するように構成されたエントロピーデコーディング部と、
空間的動きベクトル候補と時間的動きベクトル候補のうち少なくとも1つを含む2つの動きベクトル候補からなる、前記現在ブロックの動きベクトル候補セットを決定するように構成され、前記動きベクトル候補セットからの前記動きベクトル指示情報に対応する前記動きベクトル候補として、前記現在ブロックの予測された動きベクトルを決定するように構成され、前記決定された予測された動きベクトルに基づいて前記現在ブロックを復元するように構成されたインター予測部と、を備え、
一定の条件が満足される場合、2つの空間的動きベクトル候補は前記現在ブロックの前記動きベクトル候補セットとして決定され、
前記一定の条件が満足されない場合、一つの空間的動きベクトル候補と一つの時間的動きベクトル候補が前記現在ブロックの前記動きベクトル候補セットとして決定される、デコーディング装置。 - 前記一定の条件は、
以前のピクチャの動きベクトルの平均値が閾値と等しいか大きいことを含む、請求項5に記載のデコーディング装置。 - 前記一定の条件は、
前記現在ブロックのブロックタイプがスキップモードであるか、又は16×16モードであることを更に含む、請求項6に記載のデコーディング装置。 - 前記時間的動きベクトル候補は、前記現在ブロックを含む現在ピクチャ以外のピクチャの前記現在ブロックと同一の位置のブロックの動きベクトルである、請求項5に記載のデコーディング装置。
