Claims (14)
- 複合材チャージ(204)を、成形硬化マンドレル(210)、第1のR部充填剤(207)、及び第2のR部充填剤(208)の上に配置すること、
前記複合材チャージ(204)を前記成形硬化マンドレル(210)及び剛性ベース(230)の形状にするための機械的な圧力を加えて、ストリンガレイアップ(232)を形成すること、及び、
前記ストリンガレイアップ(232)に真空圧力を加えて、ハット型断面(234)を有する圧縮ストリンガパッケージ(202)を形成すること
を含む方法。 - 前記機械的な圧力を加えて前記複合材チャージ(204)を成形すること、又は前記真空圧力を前記ストリンガレイアップ(232)に加えること、のうちの少なくとも1つによって、前記複合材チャージ(204)が複合材プライ(204)に接着されるように、前記成形硬化マンドレル(210)、前記第1のR部充填剤(207)、及び前記第2のR部充填剤(208)の上に前記複合材チャージ(204)を配置する前に、前記複合材プライ(204)を前記成形硬化マンドレル(210)の周囲に巻きつけることを更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 内部プライ(216)を前記剛性ベース(230)の上に配置すること、
前記第1のR部充填剤(207)及び前記第2のR部充填剤(208)を、前記剛性ベース(230)上の前記内部プライ(216)の上に配置すること、及び、
前記複合材チャージ(204)を前記成形硬化マンドレル(210)の上に配置する前に、前記成形硬化マンドレル(210)を前記内部プライ(216)の上に配置すること
を更に含む、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。 - 機械的な圧力を加えることは、前記複合材チャージ(204)を横切って複数の機械的フィンガー(242)をスライドさせることによって、前記複数の機械的フィンガー(242)を用いて前記複合材チャージ(204)を押圧することを含む、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記剛性ベース(230)から前記圧縮ストリンガパッケージを除去すること、及び、
前記圧縮ストリンガパッケージを硬化ツール(226)の中へ配置すること
を更に含む、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記成形硬化マンドレル(210)は、フォームマンドレルアセンブリ(1902)を含む、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記圧縮ストリンガパッケージ(1936)の複合材料(1904)を高温(1916)で硬化して、複合材構造(1906)を形成すること、及び、
硬化中に、前記フォームマンドレルアセンブリ(1902)内で支持フォームマンドレル(1908)を折り畳むこと
を更に含む、請求項6に記載の方法。 - 前記支持フォームマンドレル(1908)を折り畳むことは、硬化中に、前記フォームマンドレルアセンブリ(1902)内で前記支持フォームマンドレル(1908)を折り畳むため、前記フォームマンドレルアセンブリ(1902)内で真空引きすること(1934)を含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記支持フォームマンドレル(1908)を折り畳むことは、高温(1916)又は高圧(1918)のうちの少なくとも1つに依存する、請求項7又は8に記載の方法。
- 硬化後、前記複合材構造(1906)から、折り畳まれたフォームマンドレルを有する前記フォームマンドレルアセンブリ(1902)を引き出すことを更に含む、請求項7から9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
