Abstract
Description

Claims (28)
- 組織をアブレーションするための医療デバイスであって、
それを通して少なくとも1つの管腔を有する非伝導性伸長シャフトおよび前記シャフトから延在する非伝導性遠位部分を備える、プローブであって、前記非伝導性遠位部分は、前記シャフトの少なくとも1つの管腔と連通する複数の遠位ポートおよび複数の近位ポートを含む、プローブと、
前記管腔を通して延在し、前記非伝導性遠位部分の外部表面に沿って位置付けられる、複数の独立伝導性ワイヤを備える、電極アレイであって、前記複数のワイヤのそれぞれは、前記近位ポートのうちの少なくとも関連付けられた1つを通して、かつ前記遠位ポートのうちの少なくとも対応する1つを通して通過し、前記複数のワイヤのそれぞれまたはワイヤの組み合わせの1つまたはそれを上回るセットは、電流を受容し、アクティブ化された1つまたはそれを上回る部分に対応する標的組織のアブレーションのために、前記電極アレイの1つまたはそれを上回る部分のアクティブ化を生じさせるように構成される、電極アレイと、
を備える、デバイス。 - 前記遠位ポートのそれぞれは、対応する遠位および近位ポートを通して通過する前記ワイヤが前記非伝導性遠位部分の長さに沿って延在するように、1つの近位ポートに対応する、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記ワイヤは、前記遠位部分の長さの少なくとも20%に沿って延在する、請求項2に記載のデバイス。
- 前記外部表面は、複数の溝を備え、前記ワイヤは、前記溝内に位置付けられる、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記複数のワイヤのそれぞれは、異なる遠位ポートを通して延在する、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記複数のワイヤのそれぞれは、異なる近位ポートを通して延在する、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記複数のワイヤは、少なくとも2つのワイヤを含み、前記ワイヤは、前記デバイスの縦軸に沿って軸方向に平行移動するように構成される、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記非伝導性遠位部分は、送達構成から展開された構成に拡張可能である、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記複数のワイヤは、送達構成直径から展開された構成直径に遷移するとき、前記非伝導性遠位部分の直径まで拡張するように構成される、請求項8に記載のデバイス。
- 前記非伝導性遠位部分の拡張された直径は、約2mm〜80mmまで及ぶ、請求項9に記載のデバイス。
- 前記非伝導性遠位部分の拡張された直径は、約8cmである、請求項9に記載のデバイス。
- 前記複数のワイヤのそれぞれは、前記電流の受容に応じて、エネルギーを前記非伝導性遠位部分から伝達するように構成され、前記エネルギーは、RFエネルギーを含む、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記電極アレイは、前記伸長シャフトの非伝導性遠位部分を中心として配列される、複数の異なるアブレーション部分を備える、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記複数の異なるアブレーション部分は、前記伸長シャフトの非伝導性遠位部分を中心として少なくとも2つの臨床軸を備える、請求項13に記載のデバイス。
- 前記少なくとも2つの臨床軸は、前記電極アレイの2つの象限を備える、請求項14に記載のデバイス。
- 前記電極アレイの複数の異なるアブレーション部分のそれぞれは、少なくとも1つの伝導性ワイヤを備える、請求項13に記載のデバイス。
- 前記非伝導性遠位部分は、エラストマ材料を含む、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記ワイヤのうちの少なくとも1つは、形状記憶材料を含む、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記管腔は、流体が、前記管腔流動から、前記非伝導性遠位部分上の1つまたはそれを上回る中間ポートを通して、前記非伝導性遠位部分の外部表面に送達されるように、流体送達管腔として構成される、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記伝導性ワイヤのうちの少なくとも1つへの前記電流の受容に応じて、前記流体は、前記伝導性ワイヤの位置に基づいて、所望のパターンにおける標的組織のアブレーションのために、前記少なくとも1つの伝導性ワイヤから放出されるエネルギーを前記遠位部分の外部表面に沿って搬送するように構成される、請求項19に記載のデバイス。
- 前記非伝導性遠位部分内に位置付けられ、前記流体を前記遠位部分の内部表面に沿って分散させるように構成される、少なくとも1つの親水性挿入体をさらに備える、請求項19に記載のデバイス。
- 前記非伝導性遠位部分の外部表面は、少なくとも一部分の表面テクスチャ化を備え、流体分散を向上させる、請求項19に記載のデバイス。
- 前記非伝導性遠位部分は、バルーン拡張可能である、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記非伝導性遠位部分内に位置付けられる拡張可能バルーンをさらに備え、前記拡張可能バルーンは、前記管腔からの流体の送達に応じてバルーン壁を通した流体の通過を可能にするように構成される、複数の穿孔を有する、バルーン壁を備える、請求項23に記載のデバイス。
- 前記管腔は、流体が、前記管腔流動から、前記拡張可能バルーンの中に、前記複数の穿孔のうちの1つまたはそれを上回るものを通して、さらに、非伝導性遠位部分上の少なくとも1つまたはそれを上回る中間ポートを通して、前記非伝導性遠位部分の外部表面に送達されるように、流体送達管腔として構成される、請求項24に記載のデバイス。
- 前記伝導性ワイヤのうちの少なくとも1つへの前記電流の受容に応じて、前記流体は、前記伝導性ワイヤの位置に基づいて、所望のパターンにおける標的組織のアブレーションのために、前記少なくとも1つの伝導性ワイヤから放出されるエネルギーを前記遠位部分の外部表面に沿って搬送するように構成される、請求項25に記載のデバイス。
- 前記非伝導性遠位部分の外部表面は、少なくとも一部分の表面テクスチャ化を備え、流体分散を向上させる、請求項25に記載のデバイス。
- 前記バルーンは、そこへの流体の送達に応答して、拡張された構成に遷移するように構成され、前記バルーンの拡張された構成は、少なくとも部分的に、前記非伝導性遠位部分を拡張させる、請求項24に記載のデバイス。
