Claims (25)

前記ポリマーパッケージングの前記内部から前記外部に延在し、前記複数の電池セルの少なくとも一部と熱的又は電気的に接触する金属部品であって、前記金属部品は前記ポリマーパッケージングのオーバーモールド部に固定される接合面を備え、前記接合面は前記金属部品の前記接合面を前記ポリマーパッケージングの前記オーバーモールド部に気密封止するマイクロ表面粗さ(microsurface roughness)を有する、金属部品と、を備える、
電池モジュール。 - 前記マイクロ表面粗さは、前記ポリマーパッケージングの前記オーバーモールド部への前記金属部品の前記接合面の前記気密封止を容易にするミクロンスケールの特徴、サブミクロンスケールの特徴、又はそれらの組み合わせを備える、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記金属部品は、前記電池モジュールの前記内部に配設される前記複数の電池セルと電気的に接触する端子アセンブリを備える、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記金属部品は、前記ポリマーパッケージングの前記内部に配設される前記複数の電池セルの少なくとも一部と熱的に接触する冷却板を備え、前記冷却板は前記ポリマーパッケージングの前記外部で空気と熱的に接触する請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。

前記ポリマーパッケージング内に複数の電池セルを配設することと、
前記電池モジュールをもたらすよう前記複数の電池セルを前記金属部品に電気的又は熱的に結合することと、を含む、
電池モジュールを製造する方法。 - マイクロ表面処理を行うことは、前記金属部品の少なくとも前記接合面を粗面化するよう酸エッチングを行うことを含む、請求項10に記載の方法。

- 前記ポリマーパッケージングの前記オーバーモールド部は、前記ポリマーパッケージングの残りに接合される別体のポリマーインサートである、請求項22に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電池モジュールはxEVに電力を供給するよう構成される、請求項22に記載の電池モジュール。
