Description
前記密封予定部と前記密封予定部から突出している電極リードを挟んで上部と下部から密封予定部を加圧し熱を印加して密封予定部を接合させる一対のシーリングブロックを含み;

Claims (22)
- 電極組立体および電解液がラミネートシートの電池ケースに内蔵された構造の電池セルにおいて電極リードが突出している電池ケースの密封予定部に熱と圧力を印加して密封する装置であって、
前記密封予定部と前記密封予定部から突出している電極リードを挟んで上部と下部から密封予定部を加圧し熱を印加して密封予定部を接合させる一対のシーリングブロックを含み;
前記シーリングブロックには電極組立体方向および/またはそれに対向する方向にそれぞれ延長された構造の二つ以上の突出部が形成されており;
前記突出部は、シーリングブロックの熱と圧力によって電極リードの端部に沿って延伸される密封予定部の対応部位に、熱と圧力を追加的に印加して、延伸された密封予定部を密封させることを特徴とする密封装置。 - 前記密封装置は、突出部によって、密封予定部に対するシーリングブロックの加圧および熱の印加面積が増加された構造であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の密封装置。
- 前記電極リードは、電気伝導性のリード部材、および前記リード部材を局部的に囲む形態に付着された一対の絶縁性フィルムを含んでおり;
前記絶縁性フィルムは、リード部材の両側端部で相互接合された剰余結合部を含んでおり;
前記電極リードは、絶縁性フィルムの一部が密封予定部の内面に密着された状態で、残り部位が外側に突出しており;
前記シーリングブロックは相互密着されている密封予定部と絶縁性フィルムを追加的に接合させ、前記突出部はリード部材の端部に沿って延伸された密封予定部と外部に露出されている絶縁性フィルムを追加的に接合させることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の密封装置。 - 前記シーリングブロックは、
密封予定部を上部から加圧する第1ブロック;および
密封予定部を下部から加圧する第2ブロック;
を含み、前記突出部は第1ブロックと第2ブロックのそれぞれに形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の密封装置。 - 前記第1ブロックと第2ブロックはそれぞれ、垂直断面上に電極リードの両側端部に対応する位置に形成されている一対の第1段差;および
前記第1段差からそれぞれ延長されており、絶縁性フィルムにおいて剰余結合部の両側端部に対応する位置に形成されている第2段差;
を含むことを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の密封装置。 - 前記第1ブロックと第2ブロックの突出部は、
第1段差のそれぞれで、電極組立体方向に突出している一対の第1突出部;および
第1突出部に対向して突出している一対の第2突出部;を含み、
前記第1ブロックと第2ブロックの突出部はまた、
第2段差のそれぞれで、電極組立体方向に突出している一対の第3突出部;および
第3突出部に対向して突出している一対の第4突出部;をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の密封装置。 - 前記第1ブロックと第2ブロックが密封予定部を加圧する時、電極リードが第1段差の間に挿入されながら密封予定部の一部が第1段差によって折り曲げられてリード部材の両側面に付着されている絶縁性フィルムに密着された後、接合されることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の密封装置。
- 前記密封予定部において残り部位は、第1段差の間に挿入された電極リードにおいてリード部材の上面と下面に付着されている絶縁性フィルムに密着された後、接合されることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の密封装置。
- 前記第1ブロックと第2ブロックが密封予定部を加圧する時、絶縁性フィルムが第2段差の間に挿入されながら密封予定部の一部が第2段差によって折り曲げられて剰余結合部の両側端部に密着された後、接合されることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の密封装置。
- 前記密封予定部において残り部位は第1段差の間に挿入された剰余結合部の上面と下面に密着された後、接合されることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の密封装置。
- 前記第1ブロックと第2ブロックが密封予定部を加圧する時、電極リードが第2突出部の間に挿入されながら電極リード方向に延伸された密封予定部が第1段差によって折り曲げられて電極リードに付着された絶縁性フィルムに密着された後、接合されることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の密封装置。
- 前記第1ブロックと第2ブロックが密封予定部を加圧する時、第1突出部は電極組立体方向に延伸された密封予定部を電極リードに付着された絶縁性フィルムに密着させた後、接合させることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の密封装置。
- 前記第1ブロックと第2ブロックが密封予定部を加圧する時、絶縁性フィルムの剰余結合部が第4突出部の間に挿入され、電極リード方向に延伸された密封予定部は第2段差によって剰余結合部を囲むように折り曲げられながら剰余結合部に密着された後、接合されることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の密封装置。
- 前記第1ブロックと第2ブロックが密封予定部を加圧する時、第3突出部は電極組立体方向に延伸された密封予定部を電極リードに付着された絶縁性フィルムらに密着させた後、接合させることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の密封装置。
- 前記突出部は、垂直断面上に多角形または曲線を含むラウンド構造であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の密封装置。
- 前記突出部は、平面上にくさび型構造であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の密封装置。
- 前記突出部の延長長さは、密封予定部の幅対比5%〜30%であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の密封装置。
- 請求項1乃至17のうちのいずれか一つによる密封装置で製造された電池セルであって、
ラミネートシートのポーチ型電池ケース;
非水系電解液;および
正極、負極および分離膜を含む電極組立体;を含み、
前記電極組立体と非水系電解液が電池ケースに内蔵された状態で電池ケースの密封予定部が熱融着された構造からなることを特徴とする電池セル。 - 請求項18による電池セルを一つ以上含む電池パック。
- 請求項18による電池セルを二つ以上含む電池モジュール。
- 請求項18による電池セルを一つ以上含むデバイス。
- 前記デバイスは、ノートパソコン、ネットブック、タブレットPC、スマートパッド、電気自動車、ハイブリッド電気自動車、またはプラグインハイブリッド電気自動車であることを特徴とする、請求項21に記載のデバイス。
