Claims (8)
- 間接インクジェット印刷システムの印字ヘッドと中間転写部材(ITM)との間の隙間にガスを導入するためのマニホールドであって、連続低速ガス流を分配するために第1の放出口で終端する第1のガス流路と、高速ガス流を前記隙間に断続的に分配するために、前記第1の放出口から間隔を置いて垂直に配置される、第2の放出口で終端する第2の別のガス流路と、を有するマニホールド。
- 前記高速ガスを導通する前記ガス流路は、複数の別々の分岐に分けられて、前記高速ガスは、異なる時間にすべての前記分岐の中を流れるようにされる、請求項1に記載のマニホールド。
- 前記全第1の放出口は、低い圧力でガスのソースに使用の間常に連結される前記マニホールドの共通単一第1のプレナムチャンバに連結している、請求項2に記載のマニホールド。
- 前記第2の放出口は、ガスを高圧で断続的に受け入れるために前記マニホールドの異なるそれぞれの流路分岐に各々連結する領域に分けることができる、請求項2または3に記載のマニホールド。
- 使用中、前記印字ヘッドを担持する印字バーに直接固着するブロックを備える、請求項2〜4のいずれかに記載のマニホールド。
- 高速ガスを導通する前記分岐の各々は、高圧でガスのサプライに連結するプレナムチャンバおよびそれぞれの弁を経由して前記後のプレナムチャンバに断続的に連結するバッファチャンバを備え、前記バッファチャンバの各々は、前記マニホールドの前記第2の放出口の個別領域に連結する、請求項5に記載のマニホールド。
- 前記マニホールドの前記2つの放出口は、前記ブロックの下側に固着する上部プレート、下部プレート、および介在スペーサにより画成され、前記低速ガスのための前記第1の放出口は、前記上部プレートと前記下部プレートとの間に画成され、前記高速ガスのための前記第2の放出口は、前記上部プレートの上面および前記ブロックの下側のグローヴにより画成される、請求項5または6に記載のマニホールド。
- 前記スペーサは、前記第1の流路の前記単一プレナムチャンバに連通する前記ブロックのそれぞれの穴から前記第1の放出口に各々通じる分岐チャネルを画成するように成形される、請求項7に記載のマニホールド。
