Claims (5)
- 印刷ヘッドであって、
インク源であって、インクを供給及び受容するためのインク源と、
前記インク源からインクを受容するために前記インク源に接続された第1のチャネルと、
前記インク源にインクを戻すために、前記インク源に接続された第2のチャネルであって、前記第1及び第2のチャネルが圧力差を有する、第2のチャネルと、
前記第1のチャネルからインクを受容し、前記第2のチャネルにインクを戻すために、前記2つのチャネルの間に配置され、かつそれらに接続されたマニホールド構造と、を備え、
前記第1及び第2のチャネル間の前記圧力差が、前記マニホールド構造の長さに沿った圧力勾配をもたらし、前記圧力勾配が、前記マニホールド構造に沿った流れを引き起こし、
複数の単一ジェットのアレイが、前記マニホールド構造に接続され、前記アレイ内の各々の単一ジェットが、投入口ポート、出口ポート、及びノズルを有し、
前記マニホールド構造の長さに沿った前記圧力勾配が、それぞれの単一のジェットの投入口ポートと排出口ポートとの間の特定の第2の圧力差をもたらす、印刷ヘッド。 - 各々の単一ジェットが、前記ジェット投入口ポートを介して前記マニホールド構造からインクを受容し、前記ジェット出口ポートを介して前記マニホールド構造にインクを戻し、前記ジェットノズルを介してインクを分配するように配列される、請求項1に記載の印刷ヘッド。
- 各々の単一ジェットを介する流体路が、各々の単一ジェットが接続される前記マニホールド構造の流体路と平行に動作する、請求項1に記載の印刷ヘッド。
- 前記第2の圧力差が、前記マニホールド構造の単位長さ当たりの圧力降下に、各々の単一ジェット投入口ポートと排出口ポートとの間の距離を乗算したものに等しい、請求項1に記載の印刷ヘッド。
- 前記第2の圧力差が、各々の単一ジェットを介する流れをもたらし、前記流れが、前記マニホールド構造内の流れと平行に作用する、請求項1に記載の印刷ヘッド。
