Abstract
Description
本出願は、内容全体が参照により本明細書に組込まれている、「水中ドローン」という題の2015年8月3日出願の米国仮特許出願第62/200,559号に対する優先権およびその利益を主張する。
Claims (18)
- 水面を有する水域中で使用するためのビークルにおいて、
前方端部および後方端部を有し、長手方向軸を画定する船殻と;
前記船殻の前記前方端部に位置付けされたアンテナを含む通信システムと;
2つのアクチュエータを含み、各アクチュエータが、前記船殻の前記後方端部に位置付けされ推力ベクトルに沿って推力を供給するように構成されたプロペラを含む推進システムと;
を含むビークルであって、
− 前記推進システムがいかなる推力も生成しない場合に第1の定常状態位置をとり、該第1の定常状態位置における前記長手方向軸の仰角が20度超となるように;
− 前記推進システムが第1の大きさの前進推力を生成する場合に第2の定常状態位置をとり、該第2の定常状態位置における前記長手方向軸の仰角が0度超40度未満となるように;および
− 前記推進システムが第2の大きさの後進推力を生成する場合に第3の定常状態位置をとり、該第2の定常状態位置における前記長手方向軸の仰角が60度超となるように;
構成されているビークル。 - 前記第1の定常状態位置における前記長手方向軸の前記仰角が、前記第2の定常状態位置における前記長手方向軸の前記仰角よりも大きい、請求項1に記載のビークル。
- 前記第1の定常状態位置における前記長手方向軸の前記仰角が、前記第2の定常状態位置における前記長手方向軸の前記仰角よりも少なくとも10度大きい、請求項2に記載のビークル。
- 前記第3の定常状態位置における前記長手方向軸の前記仰角が、前記第1の定常状態位置における前記長手方向軸の前記仰角よりも大きい、請求項1に記載のビークル。
- 前記第3の定常状態位置における前記長手方向軸の前記仰角が、前記第1の定常状態位置における前記長手方向軸の前記仰角よりも少なくとも10度大きい、請求項4に記載のビークル。
- 前記第1の定常状態位置および前記第2の定常状態位置において、前記船殻の前記前方端部が完全に前記水域の前記水面の上方にある、請求項1に記載のビークル。
- 前記2つのアクチュエータが独立して制御可能であるように構成されている、請求項1に記載のビークル。
- 前記ビークルの前記推進システムが、前記ビークルの浮力を克服し前記ビークルを完全に前記水域の前記水面の下方に移動させるのに充分な後進推力を生成する能力を有する、請求項7に記載のビークル。
- 前記ビークルの前記推進システムが、完全に前記水域の前記水面の下方の初期位置から前記ビークルを完全に空気中へと推進するのに充分な前進推力を生成する能力を有する、請求項8に記載のビークル。
- 前記ビークルは、
前記ビークルが完全に前記水域の前記水面の下方にある場合;および
前記2つのアクチュエータのうちの第1のアクチュエータが第1の大きさの後進推力を生成し、前記2つのアクチュエータのうちの第2のアクチュエータが第2の大きさの後進推力を生成し、ここで前記第1の大きさが前記第2の大きさよりも大きい場合;
実質的に恒常な横揺れ速度で定常状態横揺れ回転を行なう能力を有する、請求項8に記載のビークル。 - 前記横揺れ速度が毎秒20度超である、請求項10に記載のビークル。
- 前記ビークルは、前記2つのアクチュエータのうちの第1のアクチュエータが第1の推力を生成し、前記2つのアクチュエータのうちの第2のアクチュエータが第2の推力を生成し、前記第1の推力が前記第2の推力と異なる場合に、実質的に恒常な偏揺れ速度で定常状態偏揺れ回転を行なう能力を有する、請求項7に記載のビークル。
- 前記第1の推力が前進推力であり、前記第2の推力が後進推力である、請求項12に記載のビークル。
- 前記第1の推力が第1の大きさの前進推力であり、前記第2の推力が第2の大きさの前進推力であり、前記第1の大きさが前記第2の大きさよりも大きい、請求項12に記載のビークル。
- 前記偏揺れ速度が毎秒5度超である、請求項12に記載のビークル。
- 前記アンテナが前記船殻の外部または内部にあり、前記ビークルがさらに全地球測位システム受信機を含む、請求項1に記載のビークル。
- 前記ビークルの質量中心は、前記ビークルが前記第1の定常状態位置、前記第2の定常状態位置および前記第3の定常状態位置の各々にある間、同一に位置設定され、
前記ビークルの体積中心は、前記ビークルが前記第1の定常状態位置、前記第2の定常状態位置および前記第3の定常状態位置の各々にある間、同一に位置設定されている、
請求項1に記載のビークル。 - 前記ビークルの体積中心が、前記船殻の前方端部よりも後方端部に近い、請求項1に記載のビークル。
