Description

炭素繊維束は、2cmの距離にわたって、赤外線源を通り過ぎるように誘導された。速度は、元々のサイズ系が完全に除去されるように最適化した。これは、質量損失として測定された。
回転式アプリケーターロールを使用して、成膜剤を繊維材料に塗布する。アプリケーターロールの下側がサイズ処理浴中に浸漬され、回転中に、ある特定の量の成膜剤を取り込み、繊維材料がロールの上面に付いた成膜剤と接触する。ロールの速度と繊維材料の速度は、速度差が生じないように互いに対して合わせられていることが好ましい。

Claims (10)
- ナノ粒子によってコーティングされた炭素繊維材料であって、コーティングが、コーティングされた炭素繊維材料の乾燥重量に対して0.01重量%から10重量%未満までのナノ粒子を含み、コーティングが、さらなる反応に関与することができ、ナノ粒子が、表面改質された球形シリカナノ粒子である、炭素繊維材料。
- コーティングが、架橋性エポキシ基を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の炭素繊維材料。
- コーティングが、エポキシ樹脂を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の炭素繊維材料。
- ナノ粒子によってコーティングされた炭素繊維材料の製造のための方法であって、炭素繊維材料を、浸漬もしくは噴霧によってまたは浴を用いて、ナノ粒子含有成膜剤を含む水性エマルションと接触させ、続いて、コーティングされた炭素繊維材料を乾燥させることを含み、コーティングが、コーティングされた炭素繊維材料の乾燥重量に対して0.01重量%から10重量%未満までのナノ粒子を含み、水性エマルションが、表面改質された球形シリカナノ粒子を含む、方法。
- 炭素繊維材料が、経路中に直接浸漬されないこと、および代わりに、ナノ粒子含有成膜剤が、回転式アプリケーターロールによって炭素繊維材料に塗布されることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 水性エマルションが、エマルションの固形分に対して1重量%から50重量%までのナノ粒子を含むことを特徴とする、請求項4または5に記載の方法。
- 炭素繊維複合材料の製造のための、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載のナノ粒子によってコーティングされた炭素繊維材料および/または請求項4から6のいずれかに記載の方法の生成物の使用。
- 請求項1から3のいずれかに記載のナノ粒子および/または請求項4から6のいずれかに記載の方法の生成物によってコーティングされた炭素繊維材料をポリマーマトリックス中に含む、炭素繊維複合材料。
- ポリマーマトリックスが、熱硬化性樹脂であることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の炭素繊維複合材料。
- 熱硬化性樹脂が、エポキシ樹脂であることを特徴とする、請求項8または9に記載の炭素繊維複合材料。
