工程1214において、予め形成されたバルーンはバルーンモールドから除去され、予め形成されたバルーンの外面は本明細書に記載されるPEG−ジメタクリレート等の架橋可能な親水化剤で処理される。処理に続いて、直接可視化カテーテルまたは代替の医療装置を構成するため、親水化されたバルーンについて他の製造工程に進んでもよい。
工程1240において、予め形成されたバルーンは必要に応じてバルーンモールドから除去され、工程1250において、複数のポリマーナノファイバーの少なくとも一部がバルーンの外面に沿って露出されるように、予め形成されたバルーンを反転する。いくつかの場合において、行程中に複数のポリマーナノファイバーの少なくとも一部が熱硬化性材料に入り込むことにより、繊維が非反転バルーンの外面に露出される場合には、工程1250は必要ない場合がある。
工程1340において、予め形成されたバルーンは、本明細書に記載される架橋可能な親水化剤、例えばPEG−ジメタクリレートで処理される。親水化されたバルーンは、熱硬化性材料が硬化された後のいつでも、マンドレルから除去することができる。親水化されたバルーンについて、直接可視化カテーテルまたは代替の医療装置を構成するため、後続の製造工程が行われてもよい。
Claims (15)
- バルーンカテーテル縫合システムであって、
管腔を画定するとともに、遠位端部および近位端部を有する細長いシャフトと、
前記遠位端部に取り付けられるとともに、透明壁を有するバルーンと、
前記バルーンに隣接する前記バルーンカテーテル縫合システムの一部によって前記バルーンに固定された少なくとも第一プレジットと、
前記バルーンカテーテル縫合システムが患者内に配置された時に、解剖学的構造に前記第一プレジットを固定するように適合された少なくとも一つのファスナーと、を含むバルーンカテーテル縫合システム。 - 請求項1に記載のバルーンカテーテル縫合システムにおいて、前記第一プレジットは前記透明壁の一部であるバルーンカテーテル縫合システム。
- 請求項1に記載のバルーンカテーテル縫合システムにおいて、前記第一プレジットは、前記バルーンの前記透明壁内の内部プレジット支持構造によって保持されるバルーンカテーテル縫合システム。
- 請求項1に記載のバルーンカテーテル縫合システムにおいて、前記第一プレジットは、前記バルーンの遠位の前記バルーンの前記透明壁の外側の第一プレジット支持構造によって保持されるバルーンカテーテル縫合システム。
- 請求項4に記載のバルーンカテーテル縫合システムにおいて、前記第一プレジットの近位の第二プレジット支持構造によって保持された第二プレジットをさらに含み、少なくとも一つのファスナーは、前記解剖学的構造に対して反対側の前記第一プレジットおよび前記第二プレジットを一緒に固定するように適合されるバルーンカテーテル縫合システム。
- 請求項5に記載のバルーンカテーテル縫合システムにおいて、前記第二プレジットは前記バルーンの前記透明壁内に配置されるバルーンカテーテル縫合システム。
- 請求項5に記載のバルーンカテーテル縫合システムにおいて、前記第二プレジットは前記透明壁の外側に配置されるバルーンカテーテル縫合システム。
- 請求項2に記載のバルーンカテーテル縫合システムにおいて、前記第一プレジットは、前記透明壁における前記第一プレジットの周りに一つ以上の引裂き線を画定する弱化部分によって画定されるバルーンカテーテル縫合システム。
- 請求項2に記載のバルーンカテーテル縫合システムにおいて、前記第一プレジットは、前記透明壁の一部から離層されるように適合されるバルーンカテーテル縫合システム。
- 請求項1に記載のバルーンカテーテル縫合システムにおいて、前記透明壁は、熱硬化性ポリマーと、前記熱硬化性ポリマー内に少なくとも部分的に埋め込まれた複数のポリマー繊維とを含む少なくとも第一層を含むバルーンカテーテル縫合システム。
- 請求項10に記載のバルーンカテーテル縫合システムにおいて、前記透明壁は、前記第一層上に配置されるとともに、ヒドロゲルを含む少なくとも第二層を含むバルーンカテーテル縫合システム。
- 請求項10または11に記載のバルーンカテーテル縫合システムにおいて、前記ポリマー繊維は、前記熱硬化性ポリマー内においてランダムに配向された電界紡糸繊維であるバルーンカテーテル縫合システム。
- 請求項10〜12のいずれか一項に記載のバルーンカテーテル縫合システムにおいて、前記熱硬化性ポリマーは、ポリジメチルシロキサン(PDMS)のようなシリコーンを含むバルーンカテーテル縫合システム。
- 請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載のバルーンカテーテル縫合システムにおいて、前記バルーンは、その中を通る作業チャネルを画定するバルーンカテーテル縫合システム。
- 請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載のバルーンカテーテル縫合システムにおいて、前記バルーンはウィーピングバルーンであるバルーンカテーテル縫合システム。
