Claims (11)
- 連続繊維(110)で形成された不織ファブリック層(102)と、
前記不織ファブリック層(102)に付着した不連続繊維(116)とを備える、繊維で改質された中間層(100)。 - 分散液(208)中に懸濁された前記不連続繊維(116)のスラリ(206)に前記不織ファブリック層(102)を通すことによって、前記不連続繊維(116)が前記不織ファブリック層(102)に付着する、請求項1に記載の繊維で改質された中間層(100)。
- 前記不連続繊維(116)が、前記不織ファブリック層(102)の少なくとも一方の表面(106)、(108)を形成する前記連続繊維(110)に機械的に接合される、請求項1に記載の繊維で改質された中間層(100)。
- 前記不連続繊維(116)が、前記不織ファブリック層(102)の対向面(106)、(108)を形成する前記連続繊維(110)に機械的に接合される、請求項1に記載の繊維で改質された中間層(100)。
- 前記連続繊維(110)が熱可塑性材料で作られ、前記不連続繊維(116)が炭素質材料で作られる、請求項1に記載の繊維で改質された中間層(100)。
- 前記炭素質材料が、炭素ナノチューブ、グラフェン板状晶、炭素ウィスカ、チョップト炭素繊維、ミルド炭素繊維、及び炭素ナノ繊維のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項5に記載の繊維で改質された中間層(100)。
- 前記不連続繊維(116)の少なくとも一部が、前記不織ファブリック層(102)の肉厚方向に散在し、かつ、前記連続繊維(110)の少なくとも一部と絡み合う、請求項1に記載の繊維で改質された中間層(100)。
- 前記繊維で改質された中間層(100)は、中間層で強化された補強ファブリック(400)、(450)、(700)、(750)を形成するために、構造トウ(404)、(704)で形成された補強層(402),(702)の間に配置され、前記中間層で強化された補強ファブリック(400)、(450)、(700)、(750)は、複合構造物(150)を形成するために、マトリクス材料(416)、(458)、(714)、(858)が導入されるよう構成され、前記繊維で改質された中間層(100)は、前記複合構造物(150)の耐衝撃性及び導電性を向上させるよう構成される、請求項1に記載の繊維で改質された中間層(100)。
- 繊維で改質された中間層(100)を製造するための方法(300)であって、
分散液(208)中に懸濁された不連続繊維(116)のスラリ(206)に、連続繊維(110)で形成された不織ファブリック(202)を通すこと(306)と、
前記不織ファブリック(202)に付着した前記不連続繊維(116)のネットワーク(114)を形成すること(308)と、
前記繊維で改質された中間層(100)を形成することとを含む、方法(300)。 - 前記不織ファブリック(202)に付着した前記不連続繊維(116)の前記ネットワーク(114)を形成することが、
前記不織ファブリック(202)の少なくとも一方の表面(106)、(108)を形成する前記連続繊維(110)の少なくとも一部に、前記不連続繊維(116)の第1部分を機械的に接合することと、
