前記流路部材から導入した液体をノズルから噴射する噴射ユニットと、

前記流路は、第1の液体が流れる第1の流路と、当該第1の液体とは異なる第2の液体が流れる第2の流路と、を含み、
前記接合面方向において、前記第1の流路を画成している区画壁と前記流路部材の外形との間に流路が存在する割合が、前記第2の流路を画成している区画壁と前記流路部材の外形との間に流路が存在する割合と比較して大きいことを特徴とする。
前記第1の流路の区画壁が前記流路内包空間に露出している部分の割合が、前記第2の流路の区画壁が前記流路内包空間に露出している部分の割合と比較して小さい構成を採用することができる。
前記第1の液体の貯留した第1の液体貯留部材の容積は、前記第2の液体を貯留した第2の液体貯留部材の容積よりも少ない構成を採用することができる。
前記ノズルから液体を排出させるクリーニング動作を行うクリーニング機構と、
を備えることを特徴とする。
前記封止空間は、前記第1の液体を噴射するノズルおよび前記第2の液体を噴射するノズルに共通な空間であり、
前記第1の液体は、前記第2の液体と比較して有効水分量が多い液体である構成を採用することができる。
Claims (6)
- 第1の基板と第2の基板とが互いに接着剤により接合され、各基板の接合面方向に沿って延在する流路が内部に画成された流路部材と、
前記流路部材から導入した液体をノズルから噴射する噴射ユニットと、
を備え、
前記流路は、第1の液体が流れる第1の流路と、当該第1の液体とは異なる第2の液体が流れる第2の流路と、を含み、
前記接合面方向において、前記第1の流路を画成している区画壁と前記流路部材の外形との間に流路が存在する割合が、前記第2の流路を画成している区画壁と前記流路部材の外形との間に流路が存在する割合と比較して大きいことを特徴とする液体噴射ヘッド。 - 前記流路部材は、前記流路が形成された領域を内包する流路内包空間を有し、
前記第1の流路の区画壁が前記流路内包空間に露出している部分の割合が、前記第2の流路の区画壁が前記流路内包空間に露出している部分の割合と比較して小さいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液体噴射ヘッド。 - 前記第1の液体は、前記第2の液体と比較して視認性が高い液体であることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の液体噴射ヘッド。
- 前記流路部材に供給する液体を貯留した液体貯留部材を備え、
前記第1の液体の貯留した第1の液体貯留部材の容積は、前記第2の液体を貯留した第2の液体貯留部材の容積よりも少ないことを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の液体噴射ヘッド。 - 請求項1から請求項4の何れか一項に記載の液体噴射ヘッドと、
前記ノズルから液体を排出させるクリーニング動作を行うクリーニング機構と、
を備えることを特徴とする液体噴射装置。 - 前記クリーニング機構は、前記噴射ユニットの前記ノズルが開口したノズル形成面を封止する封止部材を有し、当該封止部材によって前記ノズル形成面を封止して画成される封止空間を吸引することによりクリーニング動作を行うものであり、
前記封止空間は、前記第1の液体を噴射するノズルおよび前記第2の液体を噴射するノズルに共通な空間であり、
前記第1の液体は、前記第2の液体と比較して有効水分量が多い液体であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の液体噴射装置。
