Abstract

Claims (7)
- 複数の供給孔と、ピンのアレイとを含むハニカム押出ダイであって、
前記ピンのアレイは、該ピンの外側表面が放出スロットのハニカム構造を画成するようにピン同士が離間されており、
前記放出スロットは、前記供給孔と流体的に連通しており、
隣接するピンの少なくとも一対は、それらピン同士の間に放出スロットを画成し、
前記放出スロットは、(1)前記複数の供給孔の内の少なくとも1つの供給孔に隣接した、幅W1を有する上流部、(2)前記上流部の下流にある幅W2を有する下流部、(3)W2より大きい幅を有するともに前記下流部の下流にあるディボット部、および(4)前記ディボット部の幅より小さい幅を有するともに前記ディボット部の下流にある部分を有するよう構成されている、
ハニカム押出ダイ。 - 前記部分は、幅W2を有する、請求項1記載のハニカム押出ダイ。
- 前記部分は、W2とは異なる幅を有する、請求項1記載のハニカム押出ダイ。
- 前記ハニカム構造の放出スロットの少なくともいくつかは、前記ディボット部以外の場所において、該放出スロットの長さに沿って実質的に同一の幅を有する、請求項1記載のハニカム押出ダイ。
- 前記部分が、前記ピンのピン端面まで延びている、請求項1記載のハニカム押出ダイ。
- 前記ディボット部が、前記端面から所定の深さに位置している、請求項1記載のハニカム押出ダイ。
- 前記上流部の幅W1が、隣接する供給孔の幅よりも狭い、請求項1記載のハニカム押出ダイ。
