Abstract
Description
本出願は、米国特許法第119条(e)の下、その開示の全体が参照により本明細書に組み込まれている2011年11月22日に出願した米国特許仮出願第61/562,500号明細書の優先権を主張するものである。

Claims (9)
- 薬剤容器と、
前記薬剤容器からの薬剤送達の完了前に起動し、前記薬剤容器からの薬剤送達の完了後も作動を継続する遅延機構であり、薬剤送達の完了に続いて自動的にサブシステムを起動させまたは操作を開始する遅延機構と
を備えることを特徴とする薬剤送達システム。 - 前記薬剤容器に対して変位可能に配置されたプランジャであり、前記薬剤容器から薬剤を放出するためのプランジャをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の薬剤送達システム。
- 前記プランジャの所定の変位が前記遅延機構を起動させることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の薬剤送達システム。
- 前記遅延機構は、
前記薬剤容器がその上に配置されたベースと、
前記ベース上に回転可能に配置されたパレット部材であり、対向する一対のパレットアームを有するパレット部材と、
ウォームギヤおよび円板を有するシャフトであり、前記円板が、前記円板の互いに反対方向を向いた面の周囲に円周に沿って配置された歯を備え、前記パレットアームと相互作用するシャフトと
を備え、
前記遅延機構が起動すると、前記パレットアームは、前記円板の対応するそれぞれの面の歯と交互にかみ合って前記シャフトの回転を遅延させ、前記ウォームギヤは、前記サブシステムと相互作用して、薬剤送達の完了に続いて自動的に前記サブシステムを起動させる
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の薬剤送達システム。 - 前記パレット部材は中立位置にバイアスされていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の薬剤送達システム。
- 前記薬剤容器から患者へ薬剤を送達する針であって、ベース上に変位可能に配置された針と、
スライドするブラケットと
をさらに備え、
前記薬剤送達システムが起動すると、前記スライドするブラケットは、スライドして、前記針を変位させて前記ベースを越えて延ばす針駆動機構を起動させ、前記薬剤容器と前記針とを流体接続し、前記プランジャを解放して前記薬剤容器からの薬剤の放出を開始させる
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の薬剤送達システム。 - 前記サブシステムは、用量終了指示機構、針安全機構および弁閉鎖機構のうちの少なくとも1つを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の薬剤送達システム。
- 前記操作は、用量終了指示、針遮蔽および弁閉鎖のうちの少なくとも1つを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の薬剤送達システム。
- 前記遅延機構は脱進機構を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の薬剤送達システム。
