Abstract
Description
Claims (18)
- 血液酸素供給のための酸素豊富なガスを提供する方法であって、
電池電源または外部電源で選択的に酸素濃縮器を操作し、
前記酸素濃縮器を外部電源で操作しているとき、前記酸素濃縮器から不純物を除去せずに血液酸素付加装置へ酸素を供給し、
前記酸素濃縮器を電池で操作しているとき、前記酸素濃縮器からの酸素を二酸化炭素が除去された酸素ガスの流れと組み合わせ、血液酸素付加装置へ前記組み合わせたガスの流れを供給する方法。 - さらに前記血液酸素付加装置から受けた二酸化炭素が高められたガスの流れから二酸化炭素を除去することによって、前記二酸化炭素が除去されたガスの流れを作り出す請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記酸素濃縮器は、前記二酸化炭素が除去されたガスの流れと組み合わせるための毎分0.5リットルから毎分1リットルの範囲の流れを供給する請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記二酸化炭素が除去されたガスの流れは毎分4.5リットルから毎分9リットルである請求項3に記載の方法。
- 不純物を除去せずに前記酸素濃縮器からの酸素を毎分2リットルから毎分6リットルの割合で供給される請求項1に記載の方法。
- さらに、前記酸素濃縮器からの前記酸素を前記血液酸素付加装置から二酸化炭素が高められたガスの流れと組み合わせることを有する請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記二酸化炭素が高められたガスの流れは、毎分3リットルから毎分6リットルの割合で流れる請求項6に記載の方法。
- 酸素豊富なガスの流れを受け、二酸化炭素が高められたガスの流れを発生する血液酸素付加装置のための酸素供給ユニットであって、
空気から酸素豊富なガスの流れを作り出す酸素濃縮器と、
二酸化炭素が高められたガスの流れから二酸化炭素を取り除く炭酸ガス吸収装置と、
電池または外部電力供給から電力を選択的に供給する電力制御装置と、
(1)前記電力制御装置が前記外部電力供給から電力を供給する場合、不純物を除去せずに、前記酸素濃縮器から前記血液酸素付加装置へ酸素豊富なガスを供給し、(2)前記電力制御装置が前記電池から電力を供給する場合、前記酸素濃縮器からの酸素豊富なガスを前記炭酸ガス吸収装置からの二酸化炭素が除去されたガスを組み合わせるように構成されたバルブ付きの網状管、を備える酸素供給ユニット。 - さらに、前記酸素濃縮器、前記炭酸ガス吸収装置、前記電力制御装置、前記バルブ付きの網状管は、筐体の中に配置される請求項8に記載の酸素供給ユニット。
- 前記筐体は、前記筐体が使用者によって引いたり押したりできるように構成された車輪を備える請求項9に記載の酸素供給ユニット。
- 前記酸素濃縮器は、電気的に駆動される内部コンプレッサを有する圧力スイング酸素濃縮器を備える請求項8に記載の酸素供給ユニット。
- 前記炭酸ガス吸収装置は、吸収媒体を有するキャニスタを含む請求項8に記載の酸素供給ユニット。
- 前記吸収媒体は、ソーダ石灰、Litholyme(登録商標)、Sodasorb(登録商標)、Medisorb(登録商標)、Sodasorb(登録商標)LF、及びAmsorb(登録商標)を備える請求項12に記載の酸素供給ユニット。
- 前記バルブ付きの網状管は、前記炭酸ガス吸収装置を前記流れが通る前の二酸化炭素が高められたガスの流れから水分を取り除く除湿機を備える請求項8に記載の酸素供給ユニット。
- 前記バルブ付き網状管は、さらに前記二酸化炭素が高められたガスの流れを流すためのポンプを備える請求項14に記載の酸素供給ユニット。
- 前記バルブ付きの網状管は、さらに前記酸素豊富なガスが前記炭酸ガス吸収装置によって流れることができるバイパスラインを備える請求項15に記載の酸素供給ユニット。
- 請求項8に記載の酸素供給ユニットと、患者が身につけるように構成されたポンプ血液人工肺ユニットを備える装置。
- さらに、酸素豊富な流れの管、二酸化炭素が高められた流れの管、及び血液を送り出す前記人工肺ユニットのポンプを前記酸素供給ユニットの前記電力制御装置と接続する電線を含むアンビリカルケーブルを備える請求項17に記載の装置。
