Abstract
Description

Flukaから購入したモノプロピレングリコール(MPG)、CAS 57−55−6、水中の20%溶液のpH:8.2。
Italmatch ChemicalsからDequest 2016として購入した1−ヒドロキシエタン−1,1−ジホスホン酸四ナトリウム(Na4HEDP)、CAS 29329−71−3、水中での35.5重量%、水中の20重量%溶液のpH:11.76。
Italmatch ChemicalsからDequest 2010として購入した1−ヒドロキシエタン−1,1−ジホスホン酸(HEDP)、CAS2809−21−4、水中での31.1重量%、水中の1重量%溶液のpH:<2.0。
1−ヒドロキシエタン−1,1−ジホスホン酸二リチウム(Li2HEDP)。この薬剤は、36.8g(0.1モル)のHEDPを183.8mlの水に溶解することによって調製される。その後、8.39g(0.2モル)のLi(OH)・H2Oを4回に分けて攪拌しながら2時間で溶液に添加してLi2HEDPを形成させる。反応はわずかに発熱(33℃)し、わずかな濁りが生じる。24時間後、ゲルの形成が観察され、pHは2.9であり、固形分は11.7重量%である。ゲルは96時間後もなお安定である。

この実施例は、本発明の工程(a)から(c)によって得られた製品の使用を例示する。水200gおよび実施例1の試験Bについて記載したようにして得られた鉱物製品300gを混合して鉱物製品の混合物を得る。この鉱物製品は、62重量%が<2μm、34重量%が<1μmおよびd50が1.7μmの最終粒度分布を有する。得られた混合物を30℃で20分間撹拌する。得られた懸濁液のpH値は8.4であり、ブルックフィールド粘度は696mPa・s(スピンドル3)である。
Claims (15)
- アルカリ土類金属炭酸塩含有材料の表面の少なくとも一部を改質する方法であって、以下の工程:

- 工程(a)で提供されるアルカリ土類金属炭酸塩含有材料は、乾燥鉱物材料の重量に基づいて、0.1重量%未満のポリカルボン酸塩系分散剤を含むことを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 有機ホスホン酸は、置換または非置換アルキレンジホスホン酸であることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 有機ホスホン酸は、メチレンジホスホン酸(MDP)、ヒドロキシメチレンジホスホン酸(HMDP)、1−ヒドロキシエタン−1,1−ジホスホン酸(HEDP)、ヒドロキシシクロヘキシルメチレンジホスホン酸(HCMDP)、1−ヒドロキシ−3−アミノプロパン−1,1−ジホスホン酸(APD)、アミノ−トリス(メチレンホスホン酸)(ATMP)、ジエチレントリアミンペンタ(メチレンホスホン酸)(DTPMP)、およびホスホノコハク酸(PSA)から選択されることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 1価、2価および3価のカチオンは、
(i) Li、Na、K、NH4 +、
好ましくはLi、Na、K;および
(ii) Mg、Ca、Mn、Co、Cu、Zn、Sr、Zr、Sn、
好ましくはMg、Ca、Sr;および
(iii) Al、Cr、Fe、
好ましくはAl;
から選択され、
有機ホスホン酸および/またはその誘導体は、有機ホスホン酸および/またはその誘導体の酸性プロトンの総数に基づいて、好ましくは10から90%、より好ましくは30から80%、最も好ましくは40から60%の程度まで中和されることを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 工程(c)で使用される少なくとも1つの表面改質剤の総量は、工程(a)で提供されるアルカリ土類金属炭酸塩含有材料の乾燥重量に基づいて、0.01から5.0重量%、好ましくは0.03から1.0重量%、より好ましくは0.05から0.7重量%の範囲であることを特徴とする請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 混合物は、混合物の総重量に基づいて、2.0重量%未満、好ましくは1.5重量%未満、より好ましくは1.0重量%未満、さらにより好ましくは0.5重量%未満、最も好ましくは0.03から0.2重量%の総含水率を有することを特徴とする請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 方法は、工程(c)、工程(d)および/または工程(e)の間および/または後に、アルカリ土類金属炭酸塩含有材料を疎水化剤と反応させる工程をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の方法により得ることができる鉱物製品。
- 鉱物製品は、鉱物製品の総重量に基づいて、2.0重量%未満、好ましくは1.5重量%未満、より好ましくは1.0重量%未満、さらにより好ましくは0.5重量%未満、最も好ましくは0.03から0.2重量%の総含水率を有することを特徴とする請求項11に記載の鉱物製品。
- 鉱物製品は、0.2から45μm、好ましくは0.5から15μm、より好ましくは0.7から2μmの重量メジアン粒径d50を有することを特徴とする請求項11または12に記載の鉱物製品。
- 鉱物製品は、BET窒素法により測定して、0.5から60m2/g、より好ましくは2から15m2/g、最も好ましくは3から10m2/gの比表面積を有することを特徴とする請求項11から13のいずれか一項に記載の鉱物製品。
- 紙、プラスチック、シーラント、塗料、コンクリートおよび化粧品、好ましくはポリオレフィン製品、より好ましくはフィルムおよび/または繊維、最も好ましくは通気性フィルム中での請求項11から14のいずれか一項に記載の鉱物製品の使用。
