L.軸受部材の後処理浄化
以下の記述から、上記に挙げた手順のいくつかは任意のステップであり、従って必ずしも好ましい製造工程に含む必要はないことが理解されるだろう。また、上記ステップを一度以上繰り返してもよいことも理解されるだろう。好ましい工程は必ずしも上記にリスト化され又は下記で説明される順番では行われない。
本発明の好ましい実施形態による軸受胴は、裏面層の材料及び軸受部材基板材料を含むシート材料のバイメタルコイルからブランク材を切り出すことにより形成され得る。そのブランク材は圧縮ツールによって半円に形成される。その半円はすべての端部に沿って機械加工され、面取りされているか又はされていない機械加工された均一な表面を与える。それらの部品は標準のボーリングにより望ましい壁の厚さに加工される。
任意的に、例えば最初の基板形成/マシニングのあとに余剰の潤滑剤を取り除くため、基板の脱脂が実行されてもよい。これは、例えば、溶媒ベース又は水性の洗浄液を用いて行うことができる。
基板の摺動層の塗布の前に、摺動層の接着を改良するために基板表面を粗面化することができる。

任意的に、軸受部材基板表面の粗面化のあとに、軸受部材基板の表面から残留物を取り除くために洗浄してもよい。
摺動層は各々の軸受部材表面に個々に塗布される。好ましくは、製造サイクル効率を改良し及びサイクルアウトプットを増やすために、摺動層は複数の軸受部材基板に同時に、又は順番に、塗布される。
任意的に、軸受部材基板を積み重ねて組み立てたものは、摺動層の塗布前に予熱してもよい。これは摺動層材料が基板に対してたわむのを防止するのに役立つかもしれない。
任意的に、摺動層が軸受部材基板に塗布される前に、摺動層材料を加熱手段により予熱してもよい。摺動層材料は約20℃以上約80℃以下に予熱してもよい。これは、下記のステップHで説明されるように、摺動層の第1層を塗布する前にのみ行ってもよく、又は以下のステップHで説明されるように、1つよりも多くの層若しくは各々1つの層の摺動層を塗布する前に行ってもよい。
摺動層は、当業者にとって明らかであろう多くの方法の1つにより、組立基板へ塗布することができる。本発明の好ましい実施形態による軸受部材を形成するための、摺動層を組立基板への塗布の好ましい方法は、摺動層材料を液体状態で組立基板に噴霧することである。摺動層材料は好ましくはスプレーランス又はノズルによって塗布される(図6)。
ステップHに記載した摺動層の噴霧のあと、摺動層を乾燥する乾燥(又はフラッシュオフ)ステップが実行される。その乾燥ステップによって、好ましくは連続した、薄いフィルムの、摺動層材料が基板に残り、結果として実質的に手で触れることができるくらい乾燥した軸受部材が得られる。
本発明の好ましい実施形態による製造工程では、軸受部材は噴霧ステップ(ステップF)及び乾燥ステップ(ステップG)を少なくとも2回行う。その少なくとも2回の手順は、以下のステップを含む。
(J1b)第1乾燥ステップ(ステップIで説明されたように)
(J2a)第2噴霧ステップ(ステップHで説明されたように)
(J2b)第2乾燥ステップ(ステップIで説明されたように)
ステップJ1a及びステップJ1bは1回目の手順を形成する(ステップH及びステップIで説明されたように)。ステップJ2a及びステップJ2bは2回目の手順を形成する。必要な場合は、付加的な噴霧及び乾燥ステップによって付加的な手順を形成してもよい。
摺動層材料の噴霧及び摺動層の乾燥の後、摺動層を硬化させる。それによってポリマー材料は硬化し、そのポリマー鎖間のクロスリンクが生じる。硬化によって摺動層は望ましい摺動性又は滑走性(sliding or runnning properties)を得る。
任意的に、軸受部材は製造工程の1つ以上のステップ後に洗浄してもよい。軸受部材は好ましくは水溶液で洗浄される。軸受部材の洗浄は好ましくは摺動層の硬化ステップ後に実行される。製造工程の他のステップ後に付加的な洗浄ステップが必要に応じて実行されてもよい。
Claims (34)
- 軸受部材基板と、
摺動層材料からなる摺動層と、を備え、
前記摺動層材料はポリマー材料及びナノダイヤモンドを含んでおり、
前記ナノダイヤモンドは表面修飾ナノダイヤモンド(suface−functionalised nanodiamonds)である、軸受部材。 - 前記表面修飾ナノダイヤモンドの平均粒子サイズは1nm以上10nm以下、又は好ましくは4nm以上8nm以下である、請求項1に記載の軸受部材。
- 前記表面修飾ナノダイヤモンドの平均粒子サイズは5nm以上7nm以下である、請求項1又は2に記載の軸受部材。
- 前記表面修飾ナノダイヤモンドは表面修飾された爆発法ナノダイヤモンドである、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の軸受部材。
- 前記表面修飾ナノダイヤモンドは酸素含有官能基、窒素含有官能基、及び水素原子含有官能基からなる群から選択された1つ以上の官能基を含む、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の軸受部材。
- 前記表面修飾ナノダイヤモンドは水素(−H)、水酸基(−OH)、カルボキシル基(−COOH)、アミノ基(−NH2)、及びニトロ基(O2N)からなる群から選択された1つ以上の官能基を含む、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の軸受部材。
- 前記表面修飾ナノダイヤモンドはカルボキシル基(−COOH)を含む、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の軸受部材。
- 前記表面修飾ナノダイヤモンドはアミノ基(−NH2)を含む、請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の軸受部材。
- 前記摺動層材料は、前記表面修飾ナノダイヤモンドを0.05重量%以上0.5重量%以下含む、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の軸受部材。
- 前記摺動層材料は、前記表面修飾ナノダイヤモンドを0.15重量%以上0.25重量%以下含む、請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の軸受部材。
- 前記摺動層材料は、前記表面修飾ナノダイヤモンドを0.05重量%以上0.15重量%以下含む、請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の軸受部材。
- 前記摺動層材料は、前記表面修飾ナノダイヤモンドを0.05重量%以上0.075重量%以下含む、請求項1〜11のいずれかに記載の軸受部材。
- 前記摺動層の厚さは1μm以上20μm以下である、請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載の軸受部材。
- 前記摺動層の厚さは6μm以上14μm以下である、請求項13に記載の軸受部材。
- 前記摺動層は少なくとも2つの層を含む、請求項1〜14のいずれかに記載の軸受部材。
- 前記摺動層は少なくとも3つの層を含む、請求項1〜15のいずれかに記載の軸受部材。
- 前記摺動層は少なくとも4つの層を含む、請求項1〜16のいずれかに記載の軸受部材。
- 2つ以上の前記層の各々の厚さは実質的に等しい、請求項15〜17のいずれかに記載の軸受部材。
- 前記摺動層の少なくとも2つの前記層のうち少なくとも1つの層は、前記摺動層の少なくとも1つの他の層とは異なる重量%の前記表面修飾ナノダイヤモンドを含む、請求項15〜18のいずれかに記載の軸受部材。
- 前記摺動層の1つの中間の層における前記表面修飾ナノダイヤモンドの重量%は、前記摺動層の少なくとも1つの外側の層の重量%とは異なる、請求項15〜18のいずれかに記載の軸受部材。
- 前記表面修飾ナノダイヤモンドの重量%は、前記軸受部材基板側から前記摺動層の層ごとに減少する、請求項19又は20に記載の軸受部材。
- 前記軸受部材基板は、その裏側に配置された鉄の裏面層をさらに有する、請求項1〜21のいずれかに記載の軸受部材。
- 前記軸受部材基板は、アルミニウム合金、鉄合金、銅合金、すず合金、又は青銅合金を含む、請求項1〜22のいずれかに記載の軸受部材。
- 前記ポリマー材料はポリアミドイミド(PAI)を含む、請求項1〜23のいずれかに記載の軸受部材。
- 前記摺動層材料はポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)をさらに含む、請求項1〜24のいずれかに記載の軸受部材。
- 前記摺動層材料は二硫化モリブデン(MoS2)をさらに含む、請求項1〜25のいずれかに記載の軸受部材。
- ポリマー材料及びナノダイヤモンドを含み、
前記ナノダイヤモンドは表面修飾ナノダイヤモンドである、軸受部材用の摺動層材料。 - 前記ナノダイヤモンドの平均粒子サイズは1nm以上10nm以下、又は好ましくは4nm以上8nm以下である、請求項27に記載の摺動層材料。
- 前記表面修飾ナノダイヤモンドの平均粒子サイズは5nm以上7nm以下である、請求項28に記載の摺動層材料。
- 前記ナノダイヤモンドは表面修飾された爆発法ナノダイヤモンドである請求項28又は29に記載の摺動層材料。
- 実質的に添付の図面を参照して上記のごとく記載された軸受部材。
- 実質的に添付の図面を参照して上記のごとく記載された摺動層材料。
- 請求項1〜31のいずれかに記載された軸受部材又は請求項32に記載された摺動層材料を備えたエンジン。
