Abstract
Description
a.ミラーは厚さが0.5〜10mmの金属薄板にスタンピング成形される、
b.1310nm、1490nm、1550nmの波長におけるSMファイバカプリングに対し、反射面のための選択材料はアルミニウムである、
c.ミラー面は、屈折力を与えるため、楕円型(円錐曲面)である、
d.ミラー面の焦点距離は300μmと2000μmの間である、
e.ミラーの最大有効口径は100μm未満〜500μmである、
f.ミラーは空気または屈折率整合エポキシ内での動作に対して設計される、
g.グレーティングカプラの法線に対する動作角は±20°である、
h.動作は空気中または屈折率整合エポキシ中である、
i.ミラーは平面研磨ファイバから出るフィールドを設計角に傾けられたフィールドにつくり直す、
j.ミラーは、ミラー材料の固有反射率を改善するために、高反射性コーティング(金、誘電体反射器、等)でコーティングすることができる。

Claims (3)
- 光ファイバとフォトニック集積回路(PIC)のグレーティングカプラの間の光カプリングにおいて、
スタンピング成形された構造化反射面を有するスタンピング成形された光学ベンチを有し、前記スタンピング成形された光学ベンチは光ファイバを前記構造化反射面に対して光学的に位置合わせして支持し、前記構造化反射面は前記グレーティングカプラと前記光ファイバの間を送られる光を方向転換させ、前記構造化反射面は前記光ファイバの入力/出力と前記グレーティングカプラの設計角を整合するモードフィールドを生成するために光を再整形するための構造につくられた反射面プロファイルを有することを特徴とする光カプリング。 - 前記光ファイバが平面研磨光ファイバであり、前記構造化反射面が、角度研磨光ファイバの前記モードフィールドに類似のモードフィールドを生成し、よって角度研磨光ファイバとともにはたらくために設計された既存のグレーティングカプラの前記設計角に整合するように、前記平面研磨光ファイバの光入力/出力を再整形するために構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光カプリング。
- 前記光学ベンチが前記光ファイバを前記構造化反射面に位置合わせするためのファイバ位置合わせ構造をさらに有し、前記構造化反射面及び前記光ファイバ位置合わせ構造が、前記構造化反射面及び前記光ファイバ位置合わせ構造の、大量または少量における経済的な生産を可能にし、同時に、公差、製造性、使用容易性、機能性及び信頼性の向上を可能にする、精密スタンピングによって一体/同時成形されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の光カプリング。
