Abstract
Description

(i)1つまたは複数の第1の領域および第2の領域を有する平面状強化用部材であって、第1の領域が分離されており、第2の領域が平面的な広がりで第1の領域を囲む、平面状強化用部材と、
(ii)平面状強化用部材の第1の領域中へと浸透したイオン導電性部材と、
(iii)平面状強化用部材の第2の領域中へと浸透したシール部材と、
を備える、強化型膜シールアセンブリであって、
前記強化型膜シールアセンブリが発明の方法によって準備される、
強化型膜シールアセンブリをやはり提供する。
(i)キャリア材料を用意する工程と、
(ii)気孔を含む1つまたは複数の第1の領域および気孔を含む第2の領域を有する平面状強化用部材を用意する工程であり、第1の領域が分離されており、第2の領域が平面的な広がりで第1の領域を囲む、用意する工程と、
(iii)イオン導電性部材を堆積する工程と、
(iv)イオン導電性部材を乾燥させる工程と、
(v)シール部材を堆積する工程と、
(vi)シール部材を乾燥させる工程と、
(vii)キャリア材料を除去する工程と
を含み、
イオン導電性部材が第1の領域内の気孔を埋め、シール部材が第2の領域内の気孔を埋め、工程(ii)、(iii)および(v)が任意の順番で実施されることがあり、工程(iv)が工程(iii)の後に実施され、工程(vi)が工程(v)の後に実施され、工程(iv)および(vi)が工程(ii)の後に実施される。
(i)1つまたは複数の第1の領域および第2の領域を有する平面状強化用部材であって、第1の領域が分離されており、第2の領域が平面的な広がりで第1の領域を囲む、平面状強化用部材と、
(ii)平面状強化用部材の第1の領域中へと浸透したイオン導電性部材と、
(iii)平面状強化用部材の第2の領域中へと浸透したシール部材と、
を備える、強化型膜シールアセンブリであって、
強化型膜シールアセンブリが発明の方法によって準備される、
強化型膜シールアセンブリをさらに提供する。
(i)白金族金属(白金、パラジウム、ロジウム、ルテニウム、イリジウムおよびオスミウム)、
(ii)金もしくは銀、
(iii)卑金属、
またはこれらの金属もしくはその酸化物の1つもしくは複数を含む合金もしくは混合物からふさわしくは選択する。好ましい電極触媒金属は、白金であり、電極触媒金属を他の貴金属または卑金属と合金にすることができる。電極触媒が担持型の触媒である場合には、炭素担体材料上への金属粒子のローディングは、得られる電極触媒の重量の、ふさわしくは10〜90wt%、好ましくは15〜75wt%の範囲内である。
(i)発明の強化型膜シールアセンブリを、2つのガス拡散電極(1つのアノードと1つのカソード)の間に挟むことができる、
(ii)触媒層によって一方の側だけにコーティングした発明の触媒コーティング型の膜シールアセンブリを、ガス拡散層とガス拡散電極との間に挟むことができ、ガス拡散層が触媒層でコーティングした触媒コーティング型の膜シールアセンブリの側に接触する、または
(iii)触媒層で両側をコーティングした発明の触媒コーティング型の膜シールアセンブリを、2つのガス拡散層間に挟むことができる、
を含むが、これらに限定されない。
Claims (4)
- 強化型膜シールアセンブリの製造のための方法であって、前記方法が、
(i)キャリア材料を提供する工程と、
(ii)気孔を含む1つまたは複数の第1の領域および気孔を含む第2の領域を有する平面状強化用部材を提供する工程であり、前記第1の領域がパッチでありかつ不連続であり、かつ前記第2の領域が前記第1の領域を囲みかつ連続的である、工程と、
(iii)イオン導電性部材を堆積する工程と、
(iv)前記イオン導電性部材を乾燥させる工程と、
(v)シール部材を堆積する工程と、
(vi)前記シール部材を乾燥させる工程と、
(vii)前記キャリア材料を除去する工程と、
を含み、
イオン導電性部材が前記第1の領域内の前記気孔を埋め、シール部材が前記第2の領域内の前記気孔を埋め、工程(ii)、(iii)および(v)が任意の順番で実施されてよく、工程(iv)が工程(iii)の後に実施され、工程(vi)が工程(v)の後に実施され、工程(iv)および(vi)が工程(ii)の後に実施される、
方法。 - 工程(ii)、(iii)および/または(v)が、1回よりも多く実施される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 工程(iv)および(vi)が、同時に実施される、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- (i)1つまたは複数の第1の領域および第2の領域を有する平面状強化用部材であって、前記第1の領域がパッチでありかつ不連続であり、かつ前記第2の領域が前記第1の領域を囲みかつ連続的である、平面状強化用部材と、
(ii)前記平面状強化用部材の前記第1の領域中へと浸透したイオン導電性部材と、
(iii)前記平面状強化用部材の前記第2の領域中へと浸透したシール部材と
を備える、強化型膜シールアセンブリであって、
前記強化型膜シールアセンブリが請求項1に記載の方法によって作製される、
強化型膜シールアセンブリ。
