Abstract
Description
射出成形熱可塑性樹脂組成物は、ポリアミドとポリフェニレンエーテルとを含む基礎樹脂、衝撃補強剤およびカーボンフィブリルを含む。
基礎樹脂(a)は、ポリアミド(a−1)とポリフェニレンエーテル(a−2)とを含んでもよい。
ポリアミド(a−1)は、アミノ酸、ラクタムまたはジアミンとジカルボン酸を主たる単量体成分原料として得ることができる。
ポリフェニレンエーテル(a−2)は、ポリフェニレンエーテル重合体、ポリフェニレンエーテル重合体とビニル芳香族重合体との混合物、またはポリフェニレンエーテル重合体に反応性単量体が反応した変性ポリフェニレンエーテル重合体であってもよく、これらのうち2種以上を混合して使用してもよい。
衝撃補強剤(b)は、熱可塑性樹脂組成物の耐衝撃性を向上させる機能を有し、ドメイン相を形成できる。
スチレン系エラストマー(b−1)は、芳香族ビニル化合物および共役ジエン化合物からなるブロック共重合体;芳香族ビニル化合物および共役ジエン化合物からなるブロック共重合体を水素添加してなる水素添加ブロック共重合体;上記ブロック共重合体をα,β−不飽和ジカルボン酸とα,β−不飽和ジカルボン酸誘導体のグループから選ばれた化合物で変性した変性ブロック共重合体、および上記水素添加ブロック共重合体をα,β−不飽和ジカルボン酸とα,β−不飽和ジカルボン酸誘導体のグループから選ばれた化合物で変性した変性水素添加ブロック共重合体でもよい。場合によっては、2種以上を組合わせて用いることができる。
オレフィン系エラストマー(b−2)は、高密度ポリエチレン、低密度ポリエチレン、線形低密度ポリエチレン、エチレン−α−オレフィン共重合体およびそれらの組合わせからなる群より選ぶことができる。また、上述の物質はそれぞれ、α,β−不飽和ジカルボン酸またはα,β−不飽和ジカルボン酸誘導体の少なくとも一つの化合物で変性させた変性高密度ポリエチレン、変性低密度ポリエチレン、変性線形低密度ポリエチレン、変性エチレン−α−オレフィン共重合体であってもよい。場合によっては、2種以上を混合して用いることも可能である。
カーボンフィブリル(c)は、射出成形熱可塑性樹脂組成物に伝導性を付与することができる伝導性フィラーである。
上記射出成形熱可塑性樹脂組成物は、相溶化剤(d)をさらに含んでもよい。
塗料組成物は、上記射出成形熱可塑性樹脂組成物で形成された成形部の一部に付着することができ、好ましくは、射出成形熱可塑性樹脂組成物で形成された成形部に塗料組成物を塗装した形態である。
(a−1)アセンド・パフォーマンス・マテリアルズ(Ascend Performance Materials)社のポリアミド66製品であるVYDYNE 22HSPを使用した。
(b−1)スチレン系エラストマー
クレイトンポリマー(KRATON polymers)社のスチレン−エチレン−ブチレン−スチレン共重合体(SEBS)製品であるKRATON G1651を使用した。
マレイン酸無水物変性低密度ポリエチレン(maleic anhydride modified lowdensity polyethylene)を使用した。
ナノシル(Nanocyl)社の炭素ナノチューブ製品であるNC7000を使用した。
アクゾノーベル(Akzo Nobel)社のカーボンブラック(ケッチェンブラック)製品であるEC−600JDを使用した。
シグマアルドリッチ(Sigma−Aldrich)社のクエン酸無水物を使用した。
表面抵抗測定のための試片は、熱圧縮成形によって製造した。実施例1〜実施例3および比較例1〜比較例4の熱可塑性樹脂組成物ペレット約6gを100mm×100mm×0.5mmのキャビティー(cavity)を有するモールド(mold)に入れ、モールドを一対の金属プレート(plate)の間に入れた後、約300℃に設定されている熱圧縮成形基に挿入した。モールドと金属プレートに約50kg/cm2の圧力を3分間加えた後、熱圧縮成形機械から取り出し約25℃に設定されている冷却圧縮成形機に挿入した。モールドと金属プレートに約50kg/cm2の圧力を2分間加えた後、冷却圧縮成形機から取り出し表面抵抗を測定するために、約100mm×100mm×0.5mmの試片をモールドおよび一対の金属プレートから分離した。圧縮成形された試片は、約6時間、温度約23℃、相対湿度約50%の環境で状態調整した。
射出成形によって製造された熱可塑性樹脂組成物の試片がダート落下衝撃強度評価に用いられた。約100mm×100mm×3mmの試片キャビティー(cavity)を有する金型を備えた射出成形機SELEX−TX150(ウジンセレックス社)を射出成形に用いており、シリンダーの温度は約280℃、金型の温度は、約80℃に設定した。
塗料接着強度を評価するために同一の側面に30mm間隔で2個の射出ゲート(injection gate)が備えられた100mm×100mm×3mmの大きさのフラットプレート(flat plate)が使用された(図3参照)。射出成形されたフラットプレートは、静電塗装システムを用いてポリエステルエポキシハイブリッド(polyester−epoxyhybrid)粉末(Kansai paint社製造)で粉体塗装され、粉体塗装されたフラットプレートを約40分間約200℃の温度で硬化させて塗装成形品を得た。
表面ピットは、射出成形熱可塑性樹脂組成物の表面に形成された微細な溝(dimple)で、白く濁った表面欠陥の原因になる。同一側面に30mm間隔で2個の射出ゲートが備えられた100mm×100mm×3mmの大きさのフラットプレートを用いて射出成形された熱可塑性樹脂組成物の表面ピットを肉眼で観察した。観察の結果、表面ピットが観察されない場合はG(Good)、表面ピットが観察された場合はNG(Not Good)と記載した。

Claims (14)
- 射出成形熱可塑性樹脂組成物で形成された成形部に塗料組成物が塗装され、
前記射出成形熱可塑性樹脂組成物は、(a)(a−1)ポリアミドと(a−2)ポリフェニレンエーテルとを含む基礎樹脂;(b)衝撃補強剤;および(c)カーボンフィブリル(carbon fibril)を含み、
前記ポリアミド(a−1)は、前記射出成形熱可塑性樹脂組成物のマトリックス相(matrix phase)を形成し、
前記ポリフェニレンエーテル(a−2)および前記衝撃補強剤(b)は、前記射出成形熱可塑性樹脂組成物のドメイン相(domain phase)を形成し、
前記カーボンフィブリル(c)は、前記ドメイン相と前記マトリックス相とに分散されており、前記マトリックス相に分散されたカーボンフィブリル(c)の含量は、前記ドメイン相に分散されたカーボンフィブリル(c)の含量より高く、
前記ポリアミド(a−1)重量に対する上記カーボンフィブリル(c)重量の比は、0.006〜0.03である、塗装成形品。 - 前記射出成形熱可塑性樹脂組成物は、
前記基礎樹脂(a)100重量部に対して、
前記衝撃補強剤(b)3重量部〜20重量部および
前記カーボンフィブリル(c)0.1重量部〜3.5重量部を含む、請求項1に記載の塗装成形品。 - 前記基礎樹脂(a)は、前記ポリアミド(a−1)50重量%〜90重量%および前記ポリフェニレンエーテル(a−2)10重量%〜50重量%を含む、請求項2に記載の塗装成形品。
- 前記カーボンフィブリル(c)は、凝集体(agglomerates)を含み、
前記凝集体は、平均凝集体の大きさが30μm2〜10,000μm2である、請求項1に記載の塗装成形品。 - 前記衝撃補強剤(b)は、(b−1)スチレン系エラストマーおよび(b−2)オレフィン系エラストマーのうち、少なくとも一つを含む、請求項1に記載の塗装成形品。
- 前記スチレン系エラストマー(b−1)は、芳香族ビニル化合物および共役ジエン化合物からなるブロック共重合体、芳香族ビニル化合物および共役ジエン化合物からなるブロック共重合体を水素添加してなる水素添加ブロック共重合体、前記ブロック共重合体をα,β−不飽和ジカルボン酸とα,β−不飽和ジカルボン酸誘導体のグループから選ばれた化合物で変性した変性ブロック共重合体、ならびに前記水素添加ブロック共重合体をα,β−不飽和ジカルボン酸とα,β−不飽和ジカルボン酸誘導体のグループから選ばれた化合物で変性した変性水素添加ブロック共重合体からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一つを含む、請求項5に記載の塗装成形品。
- 前記オレフィン系エラストマー(b−2)は、高密度ポリエチレン、低密度ポリエチレン、線形低密度ポリエチレン、エチレン−α−オレフィン共重合体、ならびにそれらをそれぞれα,β−不飽和ジカルボン酸とα,β−不飽和ジカルボン酸誘導体のグループから選ばれた化合物で変性した変性高密度ポリエチレン、変性低密度ポリエチレン、変性線形低密度ポリエチレンおよび変性エチレン−α−オレフィン共重合体からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一つを含む、請求項5に記載の塗装成形品。
- 前記射出成形熱可塑性樹脂組成物は、(d)相溶化剤をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の塗装成形品。
- 前記相溶化剤(d)は、マレイン酸、マレイン酸無水物、マレイン酸ヒドラジド、ジクロロマレイン酸無水物、フマル酸、不飽和ジカルボン酸、クエン酸、クエン酸無水物、リンゴ酸およびアガリシン酸からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一つを含む、請求項8に記載の塗装成形品。
- 前記塗料組成物は、静電塗装によって前記成形部に塗装される、請求項1に記載の塗装成形品。
- 前記塗料組成物は、粉体塗装によって前記成形部に塗装される、請求項1に記載の塗装成形品。
- 前記塗料組成物は、塗料粒子を含む、請求項1に記載の塗装成形品。
- 前記塗料粒子は、液体塗料粒子である、請求項12に記載の塗装成形品。
- 前記塗料粒子は、固体塗料粒子である、請求項12に記載の塗装成形品。
