Description
本発明のポリアミド/ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂組成物は、ポリフェニレンエーテル及びポリアミドの相溶化されたブレンドを含む熱可塑性樹脂組成物であって、ポリフェニレンエーテル、ポリアミド及び衝撃補強剤を含む基礎樹脂;相溶化剤;及びポリアミンを含む。このとき、前記相溶化されたブレンド(compatibilized blend)は、相溶化剤と物理的又は化学的に相溶化された組成物を称する。相溶性は、相溶化される程度を意味するものであって、相溶性が高いとは相溶化がうまく行われることを意味し、相溶性が低いとは相溶化が難しいことを意味する。
基礎樹脂は、(A)ポリフェニレンエーテル、(B)ポリアミド及び(C)衝撃補強剤を含む。
ポリフェニレンエーテル(A)としては、ポリフェニレンエーテル重合体、ポリフェニレンエーテル重合体とビニル芳香族重合体の混合物、又はポリフェニレンエーテル重合体に反応性単量体が反応した変性ポリフェニレンエーテル重合体を挙げることができ、これらのうち2種以上を混合して使用してもよい。
ポリアミド(B)は、アミノ酸、ラクタム、ジアミン及びジカルボン酸を主な単量体成分とする。
前記衝撃補強剤は、ポリアミド/ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂組成物の耐衝撃性を向上させる機能をすることができる。
前記芳香族ビニル系エラストマーとしては、芳香族ビニル化合物及び共役ジエン化合物からなるブロック共重合体;芳香族ビニル化合物及び共役ジエン化合物からなるブロック共重合体を水素添加してなる水素添加ブロック共重合体;前記ブロック共重合体をα,β−不飽和ジカルボン酸及びα,β−不飽和ジカルボン酸誘導体のグループから選ばれた化合物に変性させた変性ブロック共重合体;及び前記水素添加ブロック共重合体をα,β−不飽和ジカルボン酸及びα、β−不飽和ジカルボン酸誘導体のグループから選ばれた化合物に変性させた変性水素添加ブロック共重合体;を挙げることができ、場合に応じて、これらの2種以上を組み合わせて使用してもよい。
前記オレフィン系エラストマーとしては、高密度ポリエチレン、低密度ポリエチレン、線形低密度ポリエチレン、エチレン−α−オレフィン共重合体及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選ばれてもよく、上述した物質のそれぞれをα,β−不飽和ジカルボン酸又はα、β−不飽和ジカルボン酸誘導体の少なくとも一つの化合物に変性させた変性高密度ポリエチレン、変性低密度ポリエチレン、変性線形低密度ポリエチレン、変性エチレン−α−オレフィン共重合体を挙げることができ、場合に応じて、これらの2種以上を混合して使用することも可能である。
相溶化剤(D)は、2類型の官能基を含む化合物、又は反応して2類型の官能基を含む化合物に変性される化合物であってもよい。官能基のうち一つは、炭素−炭素二重結合又は炭素−炭素三重結合であり、他の一つは、カルボキシル基、酸無水物、エポキシ基、イミド基、アミド基、エステル基、酸性塩化物又はその作用性等価物の官能基から選ばれてもよい。
ポリアミン(E)は、塗料との密着性を向上させるための成分であって、例えば、ダイマー酸−ポリアルキレンポリアミン系ポリアミドであってもよい。
本発明のポリアミド/ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂組成物は、伝導性を付与するために伝導性フィラーをさらに含んでもよい。
カーボンブラックとしては、その種類に制限はないが、伝導性カーボンブラックを使用してもよく、具体的な例としては、黒鉛化カーボン、ファーネスブラック、アセチレンブラック、ケチェンブラックを使用してもよい。
前記各成分以外に、本発明に係るポリアミド/ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂組成物は、難燃剤、滑剤、可塑剤、熱安定剤、酸化防止剤、光安定剤、着色剤又は無機物フィラーなどの添加剤をさらに含んでもよい。前記添加剤としては、最終成形品の特性に応じて2種以上を混合して使用してもよい。
次に、本発明に係るポリアミド/ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂組成物の製造方法に対して説明する。
ブルースター株式会社のLXR−040Cを使用した。
ポリアミド66として、ソルベイ株式会社のRhodia 24AE1K(固有粘度:1.1dl/g)を使用した。
(3−1)三菱化学株式会社の無水マレイン酸を使用した。
(4−1)三洋化成工業株式会社のポリマイド(POLYMIDE)L−25−3(ダイマー酸−ポリアルキレンアミン系ポリアミド、全アミン価285mgKOH/g)を使用した。
(5−1)Nanocyl s.a.社のNANOCYL NC 7000(カーボンナノチューブ)を使用した。
(6−1) クレイトンポリマー株式会社のKraton G1651(スチレン−エチレン−ブチレン−スチレン共重合体)を使用した。
13個のバレルで構成され、上流側から1番目、6番目、8番目に位置したバレル(以下、それぞれ「バレル1」、「バレル6」、「バレル8」という)にそれぞれ原料供給口が備えられ、5番目、11番目に位置したバレル(以下、それぞれ「バレル5」及び「バレル11」という)に真空ベントが備えられ、6番目、8番目、12番目に位置したバレル(以下、それぞれ「バレル6」、「バレル8」、「バレル12」という)に液体供給ノズルが備えられ、3番目、4番目、7番目、10番目、12番目に位置したバレル(以下、それぞれ「バレル3」、「バレル4」、「バレル7」、「バレル10」及び「バレル12」という)にニーディングスクリューエレメントが備えられた二軸押出機(KZW−58、株式会社テクノベル)に表1〜表4に記載した各成分を供給し、これらを押出・混練することによって樹脂組成物ペレットを製造した。
(1)耐衝撃性
実施例及び比較例の樹脂組成物を射出成形機SELEX−TX150(Woojin Selex Co.,Ltd.)を用いてシリンダー温度300℃、金型温度80℃、充填時間2秒の条件で成形し、ISO 20753に規定された条件で多目的試験片(タイプA1)を製作した。
実施例及び比較例の樹脂組成物を射出成形機SELEX−TX150(Woojin Selex Co.,Ltd.)を用いてシリンダー温度300℃、金型温度120℃、充填時間2秒の条件で成形し、100mm×100mm×2mmの平板試験片を製作した。
Claims (18)
- ポリフェニレンエーテル、ポリアミド及び衝撃補強剤を含む基礎樹脂;相溶化剤;及びポリアミン;を含むポリアミド/ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂組成物であって、
前記ポリアミド/ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂組成物は、ISO 180規格によって23℃で測定したノッチ付きアイゾット衝撃強度が12kJ/m2以上で、
JIS K5600−5−6規格に準じて1mm間隔の碁盤目試験を通じて測定したアクリル系塗料及びメラミン系塗料に対する密着力テストで剥離が発生した碁盤目の個数が全体の碁盤目の個数の5%以下で、
前記ポリアミンは、ダイマー酸−ポリアルキレンポリアミンである、ポリアミド/ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂組成物。 - 前記ポリアミド/ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂組成物は、ISO 180規格によって23℃で測定したノッチ付きアイゾット衝撃強度が16kJ/m2 〜30kJ/m2である、請求項1に記載のポリアミド/ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂組成物。
- 前記ポリアミンは、基礎樹脂100重量部に対して0.3重量部〜5重量部で含まれる、請求項1または2に記載のポリアミド/ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂組成物。
- 前記相溶化剤は、基礎樹脂100重量部に対して0.1重量部〜5重量部で含まれる、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のポリアミド/ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂組成物。
- 前記基礎樹脂は、ポリフェニレンエーテル20重量%〜60重量%、ポリアミド30重量%〜70重量%及び衝撃補強剤1重量%〜30重量%を含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のポリアミド/ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂組成物。
- 前記ポリフェニレンエーテルは、ポリ(2,6−ジメチル−1,4−フェニレン)エーテル;ポリ(2,6−ジエチル−1,4−フェニレン)エーテル;ポリ(2,6−ジプロピル−1,4−フェニレン)エーテル;ポリ(2−メチル−6−エチル−1,4−フェニレン)エーテル;ポリ(2−メチル−6−プロピル−1,4−フェニレン)エーテル;ポリ(2−エチル−6−プロピル−1,4−フェニレン)エーテル;ポリ(2,6−ジフェニル−1,4−フェニレン)エーテル;ポリ(2,6−ジメチル−1,4−フェニレン)エーテルとポリ(2,3,6−トリメチル−1,4−フェニレン)エーテルの共重合体;ポリ(2,6−ジメチル−1,4−フェニレン)エーテルとポリ(2,3,6−トリエチル−1,4−フェニレン)エーテルの共重合体;又はこれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のポリアミド/ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂組成物。
- 前記ポリアミドは、ポリアミド6;ポリアミド66;ポリアミド46;ポリアミド11;ポリアミド12;ポリアミド610;ポリアミド612;ポリアミド6/66;ポリアミド6/612;ポリアミドMXD6;ポリアミド6/MXD6;ポリアミド66/MXD6;ポリアミド6T;ポリアミド6I;ポリアミド6/6T;ポリアミド6/6I;ポリアミド66/6T;ポリアミド66/6I;ポリアミド6/6T/6I;ポリアミド66/6T/6I;ポリアミド9T;ポリアミド9I;ポリアミド6/9T;ポリアミド6/9I;ポリアミド66/9T;ポリアミド6/12/9T;ポリアミド66/12/9T;ポリアミド6/12/9I;ポリアミド66/12/6I;又はこれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のポリアミド/ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂組成物。
- 前記衝撃補強剤は、芳香族ビニル系エラストマー、オレフィン系エラストマー又はこれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のポリアミド/ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂組成物。
- 前記相溶化剤は、マレイン酸、マレイン酸無水物、マレイン酸ヒドラジド、ジクロロマレイン酸無水物、不飽和ジカルボン酸、フマル酸、クエン酸、クエン酸無水物、リンゴ酸、アガリシン酸又はこれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載のポリアミド/ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂組成物。
- 電気伝導性フィラーをさらに含む、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載のポリアミド/ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂組成物。
- 前記電気伝導性フィラーは、基礎樹脂100重量部に対して0.1重量部〜10重量部で含まれる、請求項10に記載のポリアミド/ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1〜11のいずれか1項のポリアミド/ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂組成物から製造された自動車用成形品。
- ポリフェニレンエーテル、相溶化剤及び衝撃補強剤の混合物を溶融・混練することによって第1中間生成物を形成する段階;
前記第1中間生成物とポリアミドを溶融・混練することによって第2中間生成物を形成する段階;及び
前記第2中間生成物とポリアミンを溶融・混練する段階;を含み、
前記ポリアミンは、ダイマー酸−ポリアルキレンポリアミンである、ポリアミド/ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂組成物の製造方法。 - 前記第1中間生成物を形成する段階は、260℃〜320℃で20秒〜3分間行われるものである、請求項13に記載のポリアミド/ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂組成物の製造方法。
- 前記第1中間生成物は、ポリフェニレンエーテル−相溶化剤のグラフト共重合体を含むものである、請求項13または14に記載のポリアミド/ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂組成物の製造方法。
- 前記第2中間生成物を形成する段階及び第2中間生成物とポリアミンを溶融・混練する段階は260℃〜320℃で行われるものである、請求項13〜15のいずれか1項に記載のポリアミド/ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂組成物の製造方法。
- 前記第1中間生成物を形成する段階後に未反応相溶化剤を除去する段階をさらに含む、請求項13〜16のいずれか1項に記載のポリアミド/ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂組成物の製造方法。
- 前記第2中間生成物を形成する段階及び前記第2中間生成物とポリアミンを溶融・混練する段階のうち少なくとも一つの段階後、水を除去する段階をさらに含む、請求項13〜17のいずれか1項に記載のポリアミド/ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂組成物の製造方法。
