Claims (15)

  1. 個体における前立腺がんの進行を予測するための方法であって、
    (a)前記個体から採取された生物学的試料からのサイン遺伝子のコレクションの発現レベルを受け取る工程であって、サイン遺伝子の前記コレクションが
    NKX2−1、UPK1A、ADRA2C、ABCC11、MMP11、CPVL、ZYG11A、CLEC4F、OAS2、PGC、UPK3B、PCBP3、ABLIM1、EDARADD、GPR81、MYBPC1、F10、KCNA3、GLDC、KCNQ2、RAPGEF1、TUBB2B、MB、DUOXA1、C2orf43、DUOX1、PCA3およびNPR3からなる群から選択される少なくとも2つの遺伝子、または
    NKX2−1、UPK1A、ABCC11、MMP11、CPVL、ZYG11A、CLEC4F、OAS2、PGC、UPK3B、PCBP3、EDARADD、GPR81、MYBPC1、KCNA3、GLDC、KCNQ2、RAPGEF1、TUBB2B、MB、DUOXA1、C2orf43、DUOX1、およびNPR3からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つの遺伝子

    を含む方法。
  2. イン遺伝子の前記コレクションが
    NKX2−1、UPK1A、ADRA2C、ABCC11、MMP11、CPVL、ZYG11A、CLEC4F、OAS2、およびPGCからなる群から選択される少なくとも2つの遺伝子、または
    ZYG11A、MMP11、MYBPC1、DUOX1、EDARADD、PGC、GPR81、NKX2−1、ABLIM1、およびABCC11からなる群から選択される少なくとも2つの遺伝子
    を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
  3. 予測モデルの前記アウトプットが、
    (I)個体が前立腺がんのための処置を受けた後、前記個体における前立腺がんの臨床的再発の見込み、および
    (II)個体が前立腺がんのための処置を受けた後、前記個体における前立腺がんの生化学的再発の見込み
    の1つまたは両方を予測する、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
  4. グリーソンスコア、前立腺がんのための外科手術の年、手術前PSAレベル、および年齢の少なくとも1つを予測モデルに適用する工程であって、予測モデルがグリーソンスコア、前立腺がんのための外科手術の年、手術前PSAレベル、および年齢の少なくとも1つを前立腺がん進行に関連づける前記工程をさらに含む、請求項1からまでのいずれかに記載の方法。
  5. 前記サイン遺伝子の遺伝子発現レベルを1つまたは複数の他のバイオマーカーと組み合わせて、前記個体における前立腺がんの進行を予測する工程をさらに含む、請求項1からまでのいずれかに記載の方法。
  6. 1つまたは複数の他のバイオマーカーが生殖細胞系列変異、体細胞変異、DNAメチル化マーカー、タンパク質マーカー、およびその任意の組合せからなる群から選択される、請求項に記載の方法。
  7. サイン遺伝子のコレクションの発現レベルが複数回測定された遺伝子発現レベルを含む、請求項1からまでのいずれかに記載の方法。
  8. 複数回測定された遺伝子発現レベルの動態を使用して、前記個体における前立腺がんの進行を予測する工程をさらに含む、請求項に記載の方法。
  9. 予測モデルのアウトプットを評価して、個体が高リスク群に属するかどうかを決定する工程をさらに含む、請求項1からまでのいずれかに記載の方法。
  10. サイン遺伝子のコレクションを約1000を超える遺伝子から選択することによって、前記予測モデルを開発する工程をさらに含む、請求項1からまでのいずれかに記載の方法。
  11. 安定性選択、ロジスティック回帰、またはエラスティックネット正規化ロジスティック回帰を用いた安定性選択を使用して前記予測モデルを開発する工程をさらに含む、請求項1から10までのいずれかに記載の方法。
  12. サイン遺伝子のコレクションの前記発現レベルを前記予測モデルに適用する工程が、サイン遺伝子のコレクションの安定性順位または予測力順位に従って前記発現レベルに加重値を与える工程を含む、請求項1から11までのいずれかに記載の方法。
  13. (a)の前に、発現レベルを決定する工程をさらに含む、請求項1から12までのいずれかに記載の方法。
  14. 個体における前立腺がんの進行を予測するためのシステムであって、
    個体から採取された生物学的試料からの核酸の発現レベルを決定するように構成された装置;並びに
    (a)前記個体から採取された生物学的試料からのサイン遺伝子のコレクションの発現レベルを受け取ることであって、サイン遺伝子の前記コレクションが
    NKX2−1、UPK1A、ADRA2C、ABCC11、MMP11、CPVL、ZYG11A、CLEC4F、OAS2、PGC、UPK3B、PCBP3、ABLIM1、EDARADD、GPR81、MYBPC1、F10、KCNA3、GLDC、KCNQ2、RAPGEF1、TUBB2B、MB、DUOXA1、C2orf43、DUOX1、PCA3およびNPR3からなる群から選択される少なくとも2つの遺伝子、または
    NKX2−1、UPK1A、ABCC11、MMP11、CPVL、ZYG11A、CLEC4F、OAS2、PGC、UPK3B、PCBP3、EDARADD、GPR81、MYBPC1、KCNA3、GLDC、KCNQ2、RAPGEF1、TUBB2B、MB、DUOXA1、C2orf43、DUOX1、およびNPR3からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つの遺伝子

    を含む操作を行うように設計または構成されたハードウェアロジック
    を含むシステム。
  15. イン遺伝子の前記コレクションが
    NKX2−1、UPK1A、ADRA2C、ABCC11、MMP11、CPVL、ZYG11A、CLEC4F、OAS2、およびPGCからなる群から選択される少なくとも2つの遺伝子、または
    ZYG11A、MMP11、MYBPC1、DUOX1、EDARADD、PGC、GPR81、NKX2−1、ABLIM1、およびABCC11からなる群から選択される少なくとも2つの遺伝子
    を含む、請求項14に記載のシステム。
