Abstract
Description
(a)細分化された芝材料中の合成芝製品を細分化し、
(b)篩い分けにより前記細分化した芝材料を少なくとも裏地材料および付加成分の混合物を実質的に有する第1の画分と草繊維成分を実質的に有する第2の画分とに分離し、
(c)前記裏地材料を実質的に有する低密度画分および前記付加成分を実質的に有する高密度画分を提供するために、前記工程(b)で得た前記第1の画分をエアを用いる比重により分離し、
(d)渦運動を引き起こすように構成された分離機内で上方に向かうエア気流を供給することによる比重およびサイズにより、前記軽い画分はエア気流中に吹き上げ、前記重い画分は下方に落下させるように、前記工程(b)で得た前記第2の画分を分離し、前記軽い画分は前記草繊維成分を実質的に有すること、および前記重い画分は前記裏地材料および前記付加成分の混合物を実質的に有すること、
(e)前記工程(c)で得た前記低密度画分および前記工程(d)で得た前記軽い画分を回収する。

Claims (17)
- 少なくとも裏地材料、草繊維成分、および付加成分を有する乾燥または乾燥された合成芝製品を分離する、少なくとも連続した工程を有する方法であって、
(a)細分化された芝材料中の合成芝製品を細分化し、
(b)篩い分けにより前記細分化した芝材料を少なくとも裏地材料および付加成分の混合物を実質的に有する第1の画分と草繊維成分を実質的に有する第2の画分とに分離し、
(c)前記裏地材料を実質的に有する低密度画分および前記付加成分を実質的に有する高密度画分を提供するために、前記工程(b)で得た前記第1の画分をエアを用いる比重により分離し、
(d)渦運動を引き起こすように構成された分離機内で上方に向かうエア気流を供給することによる比重およびサイズにより、前記軽い画分はエア気流中に吹き上げ、前記重い画分は下方に落下させるように、前記工程(b)で得た前記第2の画分を分離し、前記軽い画分は前記草繊維成分を実質的に有すること、および前記重い画分は前記裏地材料および前記付加成分の混合物を実質的に有すること、
(e)前記工程(c)で得た前記低密度画分および前記工程(d)で得た前記軽い画分を回収する、ことを特徴とする合成芝製品の分離方法。 - 前記篩い分け工程(b)は複数セットの篩い器において行われ、及び/又は、前記比重分離工程(c)は複数の分離手段において行われ、および、前記分離工程(d)は複数セットの分離機において行われることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記付加成分は充填物を有し、前記工程(c)の前に前記工程(b)で得られた第1の画分は、前記裏地材料を実質的に含む第3の画分および前記充填物を実質的に含む第4の画分を提供するための中間篩い分け工程(i)によりもたらされ、前記裏地材料を実質的に含む前記第3の画分は前記工程(c)においてさらに処理され、前記充填物を実質的に含む前記画分を回収することを特徴とする請求項1または2のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記充填物は砂及び/又はゴムを含み、前記第4の画分は、ゴムを実質的に含む低密度画分および砂を実質的に含む高密度画分を提供するために、比重分離される工程(f)によりもたらされることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記中間分離工程(i)は複数の篩いを有する篩い器において行われ、
少なくとも第1の篩いは3mmのメッシュサイズを有し、かつ少なくとも第2の篩いは0.8mmのメッシュサイズを有し、
前記分離は、
前記細分化材料の最大寸法長さが3mm以上であり、前記草繊維成分を実質的に含む前記第1の画分である大きい画分と、
前記細分化材料の最大寸法長さが0.8mmから3mmまでの範囲にあり、前記裏地材料を実質的に含む中間の画分と、
前記細分化材料の最大寸法長さが0.8mm以下であり、前記充填物を実質的に含む小さい画分と、を提供する、ことを特徴とする請求項3または4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記工程(b)で得られた前記第2の画分は、前記工程(d)のエア篩い分けにより分離される前にカッティングミルにより更に細分化されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記更に細分化された画分は、凡そ10mmにすぎない最大寸法長さを有し、好ましくは8mmにすぎない最大寸法長さを有することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記工程(d)の分離は、サイクロンセパレーターまたはジグザグエアシフターにおいて実施されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記分離はジグザグエアシフターにおいて実施され、エアが18〜27Hzの周波数で供給され、より好ましくは20〜25Hzの周波数でエアが供給されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記工程(d)の分離は2つの工程において実施され、第1の工程のエア周波数は第2の工程のエア周波数より高く、より好ましくは第1の工程において凡そ25Hzのエア周波数とし、かつ第2の工程において凡そ20Hzのエア周波数とすることを特徴とする請求項8または9のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記芝製品が乾燥されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記芝製品は前記工程(a)と(b)の間で乾燥されることを特徴とする請求項11項に記載の方法。
- 湿った前記芝製品を燃焼により生成した熱を用いて乾燥させることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記乾燥プロセス温度は、前記芝製品の成分の融点以下であり、任意の充填物が最も低い融点を有することを特徴とする請求項12または13のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記工程(f)において得られた前記低密度画分は、前記ゴムから砂の塊を突き崩すためのハンマーミルに通過させてもたらされ、その後にスクリーンまたは篩いにおいて分離されることを特徴とする請求項4乃至14のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 得られた前記画分のうちの1つまたはそれ以上を回収することを特徴とする請求項1乃至15のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記請求項1乃至16のいずれか1項に記載の方法により分離して得られた各画分の砂、ゴム、草繊維成分、および裏地材料のうちから選択された1またはそれ以上の画分。
